One of my bucketlists while visiting Miami was to hit up a Cigar lounge. Being in vacation mode, I didn't think to pack any fancy clothes. When I yelped Cigar Lounges, I found a handful of places that looked a bit snooty. I called ahead and found that City Cigar didn't have a dress code and welcomed anyone in that "wore clothes". That made me laugh and I knew this was the place I wanted to hang out at. Our group of 3 was greeted by Dede. She was so chill, down to earth, and honestly a superwoman. She held down the fort and ran the entire cigar lounge by herself. The lounge has a huge collection of cigars and and massive bar. She was lighting cigars, mixing drinks, and chatting with all the customers. Definitely some of the best customer service we received in a long, long time. Dede made a couple recommendations on cigars and was able to accurately match each person with a cigar they would like. She was also able to pair our cigars perfectly with a drink. I also loved how Dede knew we were here to have a good time and automatically made our drinks a double. Pro Tip: Dede makes one of the best old fashions I've ever had. Make sure you order one from her. The lounge itself was spacious, with plenty of TVs around the store. The seats were comfortable and arranged in groups of 4. There was also seating outside, which pretty much all the other customers took advantage of because of the nice weather. Our group smoked 6 cigars total, with 6 whiskey drinks. Total came out to be about $300, which is pretty good compared to other cigar places I've been too. read more

Hands down, this is the best cigar lounge I've ever been to--anywhere in the world! The owner is fortunate to have Dede and Tisha working here; I've never met kinder or more welcoming people. They helped me select a great cigar, cut and lit it for me, and made sure I had everything I needed. Their service was attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. The lounge itself is fantastic--cozy, comfortable, and relaxed, with both indoor and outdoor seating. There are plenty of TVs so you can watch whatever you like while you enjoy your cigar and drinks. If you're ever in Miami, you must stop by this place--it's truly the best cigar bar I've ever experienced. I'll definitely be back! read more

Had happy hour here on FriYAY! The have 2-4-1 on many different liquors (not bottom barrel too!) I had my usually Old Fashioned and despite not having Maker's Mark, my Woodford Reserve cocktail was still delicious! I'm not a cigar connoisseur to make a recommendation, but they have an extensive selection of cigars to choose from. Next time, I'll definitely have one. There's a ton of TVs so excellent spot for watching sports and the bartenders were great. Very friendly and attentive. Overall great experience. Will be back. read more

I've only been after midnight. It's a good dive bar. Considering they allow smoking inside it's extremely clean. Like, cleanest dive bar I've ever been to. I did have an issue once where I accidentally left my card in the folder and handed it back to the bartender and then she was adamant that it was given back to me. If that's the case then someone swiped it when I wasn't looking. I cancelled it on the spot from my bank app so who knows. read more

We met with a few friends for an afternoon cigar before some events happening that evening. The facility including the bathrooms were very clean and the lighting went well with the room. Dede was very friendly and helpful with showing us what was available at their establishment. There is a wide selection of cigars with reasonable prices. I selected a cigar and ordered a smoked old fashion that had an amazing presentation. I found this place while downtown at an hour that most bars hadn't opened yet. It's located right by all the craziness of Govt Center, so there is tons of paid parking nearby. This place is slick inside, like walking into some rich dude's den. There are lots of leather couches, tv's, liquors, and of course, cigars. I highly recommend trying the Smoked to Perfection cocktail. It's a smoked old fashioned that comes with all the fanfare that you could hope for, considering its price ($16). While City Cigar Lounge is a bit pricey, you get 50% off 2 drinks with your Yelp check-in. This place would make a great date night or a stop on a night out in downtown or Brickell. read more

Fantastic cigar lounge. Cigar selection is on point and prices and very reasonable. Service was wonderful. Exceptional selections of spirits and hard to find bottles for sale and cocktail prices are very reasonable as well. Overall phenomenal value without compromising on ambience or service. I didn't eat here but sounds like they have excellent small plates and slice their own charcuterie in-house. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Miami. read more

They have a solid selection of sticks here. Really good. The ambiance is perfect and I'd absolutely come here to watch some football. This is really a 4.5. Very nice and accomodating staff. Good drinks, comfortable atmosphere with tvs and leather couches. They seemed to have many different cigars for purchase...we brought our own. Our only problem was the overwhelming cigar smoke...they had just hosted a large cigar program with 150 people, and I think, any other time, the cigar aroma would not have been so strong. Next time we are in Miami, we will definitely give it another try. read more

Best Cigar Lounge/Bar in Miami, hands down. I'm from Boston and have been to many cigar lounges in the NorthEast and across the US. It's hard to find a genuine Cigar Lounge, and City Cigar does just that! From the bartenders and waiters, to Tico, the owner and JC. They treat you as if you're Family, from the moment you walk in the door. The Hospitality, Atmosphere here is truly priceless and incredible. I experienced this on my first arrival checking out City Cigar, well before I became a "regular" and a member of City Cigar Lounge with a membership humidor box. I went once so far and will be going again this Friday. Great atmosphere and easy to get to. I get there via the Metro Rail. Government Center Exit is about a 4 minute walk and very safe. Being in downtown it's a perfect after work spot. Downtown is not congested at that time and the Metro Rail makes getting there very easy. As far as the lounge. Amazingly stocked cigars and bar. Impressive. Very bright and open atmosphere unlike other lounges I've been to. Highly recommend Back for another cigar. See new picture. Wow. Good stress relief after a Corona week. read more

Cigar lounge with the best whisky selection in Miami. The service is homey and friendly. Great selection of cigars. Try out the CLE selections. Pair it with an Oban distiller's edition and you're in for a great night. The ambience is very comfortable and relaxing. Leather couches, several big screen TVs, and a projection screen to show sporting events. Try the tumaca, extra toasted. read more

i absolutely adore this place. expansive selection of 270 types of liquors, with any whiskey bourbon and scotch i could think of. beautiful and clean, with really comfy seats. great place just to hang out. their tapas selection is small but done perfectly. don't miss the spanish tortilla: it's to die for. best part is the friendly amicable owner. can't wait to bring more friends here. read more

In 2019, we had a vision to create the premier Cigar & Whiskey Bar in Miami. On January 31, 2020, we had our soft opening. 6 weeks later, our lives changed forever. Despite all the challenges of opening a bar in Downtown Miami, 6 weeks before COVID, here we are today. With the largest selection of Scotches, Bourbons, Whiskies & Tequilas, we are the bar with the biggest selection in Miami. They've done a good job with the menu in that it still has all those bar foods that you look for in a place like this, but they've put some thought into elevating a number of items (e.g. the short rib poutine!) Second, the service was great. Our server (sorry, can't remember his name - a nice guy from Kendall) was very friendly and provided excellent service. As many reviews mention, this is definitely a place to watch a game. While we weren't there for this purpose last night, the TV setup is great and I could def see myself camping out there with a few beers on a weekend afternoon. As someone who lives in the neighborhood, I'll be back again for sure.

We visit it from time to time for some pool and to have some of the dishes we had on our first date. We love their pizza and wings. Everything is super flavorful, well seasoned. Never too salty. They also used to serve tots which I remember being great but I'm pretty certain are no longer served. The only reason I give it a 4 is because of the cigarette smell. Other than that it's a great place to chill and play pool. Actually one of the only places you can find where you just pay $1 or so per game as opposed to paying by the hour.
