Delayed review but deserving. Last year on Cinco De Mayo I came into this shop as a patron. After buying several items I mistakenly left my wallet on the counter. I get roughly a block or so up the road and instantly notice that my wallet was missing. I tried calling whilst jogging back to the location to try and give the attendant a heads up that I was coming back to grab it. Upon getting back to the shop the employee says he has not seen a wallet and I was out of luck. At the time all the money to my name was inside of the wallet in cash along with $130+ worth of clipper cards. No luck. After doing some research on the location I came to find out the hours when the owner would be in and tried speaking with him directly. Which also garnered zero results. Extremely unpleasant experience and unneeded. The shop dismissed and minimalized my grievance and one person even went as far as to make threatening gestures towards me to ward me off I was guessing. Since then I have been in only a handful of times and they have been pleasant but that also may be due to the fact they're up $400+ of free money of mine..... Overall this place is now NOT a great place to go if you're of African decent. While other places may or may not be overly enthused about your business this location will take your money quite literally if you let your guard down for a second. There are a lot of other smoke shops in The City which I would recommend going to versus coming to Cigarettes For Less. As you can see from my other reviews I have not had the most pleasant experiences lately in The Bay Area...However! I absolutely love cigarettes for less and have been a loyal customer for the past couple years. They are absolutely amazing and personally do not believe the rumors you see in their reviews. This spot is in a shady location and the guy who claimed the people working there stole his wallet obviously doesn't know it could've been a customer or vagrant that was in the store. I've never been treated unkind or unjust and big shout out to Ihab! I'm always always satisfied with my purchases and their loyalty to me as well. They have everything you need! Oh also, someone making a comment because they are not from the United States, can absolutely fuck off. I have never seen them be prejudice or anything of the sort. I bought a vape pen that they recommend and it didn't work when I got home. A few days later i found out it was counterfeit. I brought it back and they said sorry no refunds. Very nice place lol. They also repackage items like the one in the image here. I bought this also from them and they repackaged this and also said no refund. They cut a small hoke in the side and take out the real item and replace it with something that might contain heavy metals and who knows what. read more

This has always been my fave smoke shop even though I only smoke cigarettes none of the other stuff.. Although I do not smoke marijuana myself, there is an amazing collection of pipes handpainted and tons of bongs in all sizes shapes and colors.... and much much much more- even hooks, rolling paper, etcetera there's just about anything any smoker could ever want. They have snacks and beverages of course. My # 2 fave thing is all the jewelry they have. Body art I like bellybutton rings in dozens and dozens of different styles, also earrings and watches and plenty more all of the highest quality. A lot of really cool San Francisco shirts and hats that represent SF that type of tourist gift that even Bay folks would wear proud. As much as I adore this place is should've wrote this review a long time ago. I hate to admit that it was an amazing thing The owner did that made me finally get around to writing it. I left my brand-new iPhone and it's expensive case along with headphones and a book I just bought just sitting on the customer side of the counter. 10 minutes later when I returned he had it for me. I always buy my tobacco and rolling papers and most of my cigars, but not any more. Last month i went in to buy a vaporizer. I told the kid working there i was new to medical cannibus and i needed a recommendation on what to buy. He told me i needed atmos jr vaporizer for flowers and a pen for wax and concentrates. Spent over $100 got home and the vaporizor burned the weed and the pen didnt even work. Went back the next day with reciept and the manager basically told me that everyone knows those vaporisors are cheap and dont work and i should have spent an additional $100 for a good one. Gee thanks. Then i said well maybe i should let people on yelp know they sell things they themselves admit are "cheap" and i quote" everyone knows dont work" and he said oh well i have lawyers to take them off. Twice my husband and I have received faulty products- once a broken vape pen, and another time they sold us an EMPTY bottle of kratom and then wouldn't replace it when we walked right back in with a receipt 2 mins after buying it. Scammers and frauds. Stay away! I bought a replacement tank for my Kangertech this Saturday at 8:00. At 9:00 I filled the tank and it immediately started leaking around the glass. I go back first thing the next morning, explain what happened and request a *store credit*, not even a refund, because I need ejuice anyway. The guy behind the counter, incidentally the very same guy that sold me the damn thing in the first place, says there is nothing he can do. I tried very calmly to explain to this person that in the United States, it is NOT okay to defraud people by selling them defective goods and then refusing to stand behind them less than a day later. I took a deep breath and said, "Look, I want to give you $25 MORE than the $10 I gave you yesterday; I just need credit for the defective part you sold me just 14 bloody hours ago and we can both get on with our lives." Nope. Nothing doing. And so I will never return and advise you to steer a wide berth around this place as well. Unless you like being treated like a mark. Last thing: BEWARE of the countless Chinese knockoffs of trademarked products at this store.
