My fiancé and I moved into the area and decided to check Out Gazebo Smoke Shop while scoping out the neighborhood shops and restaurants. We discovered some cool items that we happily purchased but discovered when we got home that the people working behind the counter do a switch and bait regarding their pricing of merchandise. We dropped a good amount of money at this establishment that evening. We purchased two sets of hoodie tops and matching bottoms and were told verbally the cost of each items...when we were quoted the price we thought it was reasonable...so we trusted the sales associate behind the counter and made a cash payment for our transaction...low and behold when we went to wear our new garments I looked at the price tag and saw that the garments were priced lower than what the sales associate quoted us... The first thing that crossed my mind was how dishonest the sales associate was to us and how he made us feel like we were special "friends"...Let me tell you something...this really put a bad taste in my mouth... I will never ever trust this business and I will never ever spend another dime in this establishment! It's so true about..."BUYER BEWARE" when you walk into any of these Smoke Shops anywhere in the City of San Francisco let alone any Smoke Shop for that matter. Check the price tags and make sure that the price they quote you is actually the correct amount on the price tag and that they are being honest... They have Djarums. Crappy neighborhood, Prepare to have some homeless assholes use the hood of your car like a sofa and scratch the hell out of it. For pot smokers they don't have very good pipes. Stcik with Pipe Dreams on Haight St. If you are eating Indian food on Jones St. and you really need a pipe or some nitrous or cigarettes then go here. It's a last resort. Some local residents think this store is pretty good, but that's just because they are rationalizing. The staff here is cool, you can bargain with them a bit. Prices are a tad high. I am going to give three stars because I am sure the owners and employees have to put up with a lot of BS. read more
