We tried this place for the first time tonight. The food was really good. The beef enchiladas were good, and I sampled the steak fajitas. They were really good. The tortillas were not homemade. (Disappointing) We asked about them, and they said they have someone making them, but they are running out early. They are working on a plan to make more per day, so they last longer. The owners were very friendly as was all of the staff we encountered. We will go back. read more

My husband and I came here for lunch today and it quickly became one of our new favorite Mexican food restaurants in town! The service was great and very friendly. I had the enchiladas which were amazing and he had the tacos al carbon one chicken and one beef. They were both good but the beef was great! Thumbs up on the margarita too! So good! They give good size portions. Guacamole was so good. My husband as I split the cilantro fajitas that had beef, chicken, shrimp and sausage and it was so good. The flour tortillas were so fresh and good. Both salsas were equally as delicious. This will be one of our regular spots for sure! read more

The mangonada (?) was delicious ! It's a huge frozen mango adult beverage that's enough for 2. It's pricey but you can share it with your significant other. The food is good but pricey for what it is. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is ok. read more

I came here with my family (three kids under the age of 6 And 5 adults) around 6pm on a Friday a few weeks ago. It wasn't too crowded and and the staff was able to easily accommodate us. Fast forward one hour and the place was packed! Good mix of families with young kids and adults enjoying a nice night out. I thought I saw a table with a "reserved sign" for a large party so it may be an option, but I am not sure. Our waiter was so nice and gave us some great recommendations - accommodating for the vegetarians in our party. He even brought out chips and salsa for each of the kiddos since they wanted to have their own. We enjoyed chicken quesadillas, cheese enchiladas, veggie burritos...and a few Mexican cokes. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were reasonable (not typical "large and in-charge" Tex-mex portions). We tend to eat super spicy food and received a special spicy (man it was hot ha) salsa from the back (even thought the red and green had nice kicks too). We cannot wait to come back and want to thank the staff for being so accommodating and friendly. The food is an added bonus on top. Love supporting family-owned businesses and a great addition to the downtown Bryan scene. read more

We just tried this tonight and it is our new favorite Mexican food restaurant in town. The food is wonderful and the service is fantastic. We have lived in BCS for five years and our server (Marlene) was the best we have had in that time. The young gentleman (I didn't catch his name) that refilled our chips and cleared part of the table was also exceedingly nice. The portions were huge and the price more than reasonable. Awesome! A restaurant my husband and I both love! He loved his cheese enchiladas (how he tests new Mexican restaurants). I love this place because they fix my chile relleno gluten free! Their rice is different from what we normally get and it is delicious! The charro and refried beans were good, too. The corn tortillas are thicker and tastier than usual ones. And, they have the awesome puréed jalapeño green sauce that I love! And the prices are great!! The price for both of us was about what it was going to cost one of us at the restaurant we left who only offered one dry gluten free dish. read more

Heard about this new Mexican restaurant and had to try it. Excellent. Very fresh and tasty. Very flavorful without being really heavy. I had the beef fajita enchiladas while my wife had the tacos al carbon. Service was quick and excellent as everyone was so attentive. We will definitely be back. read more

I wanted to try caldo and on the menú it said it was severed on Tuesday and Thursday but they said they had run out and it was only noon. But then they said that the other store (meat market ) didn't make it today. So they didn't half none so they didn't have none to serve. Over all it was good and severed hot. read more

We were looking for somewhere in downtown Bryan for a light lunch and liked their menu because it had some different options from the typical Mexican fare. We had a variety of things with the mini tacos as an appetizer which were fine (I was disappointed they had ceviche on their menu but then said it is not available anymore). The tortilla soup was awesome with a great, light flavor and a lot of veggies as well as chicken. I had the beef and shrimp fajitas - beef a little chewy, shrimp cooked perfect and tortillas were a little stiff but still tasty. They have 2 main salsas that are served warm and I liked the mild more than the spicy but both were good. My son's soft taco was from the kids menu and too spicy for him but it was just some seasoning in the ground beef and he is very sensitive to that. Someone else in our group had the fried jalapeños which were huge and very tasty! Overall the service was great and we had a wonderful experience and look forward to going back. read more

This is one of the most exotic and culture appreciative restaurant that I have been for a long time. Growing up with both of my parents in the restaurant business industry I'm glad to say that this place is for sure a place you want to stop at or visit while in the downtown bryan area. The servers are great. When I went today my server Gabbie was so nice and so attentive we didn't have to ask her for anything. I ordered the cilantro parrillada and it was so exquisite and the spices and different flavors kept making me jittery, my wife had the cilantro fish and I asked her If i could get a bite b/c it looked incredible. The way the food is prepared and designed on the plate is very unique. The first time I came I was very nervous because my son being a vegetarian and my daughter having to be gluten free I didn't think they would have anything on the menu, BOY was I wrong. My son ordered the veggie burrito vegan style and my daughter talked with the waitress and she was able to choose her gluten free plate from a wide selection of entrees and main courses. Another good waitress that I've gotten is Emily, she is very alert and kind she helped me with a question I had about the stuffed jalapeños(very good a must if you want to try some of the entrees). As soon as you walk in through the door you can feel the ambiance of the restaurant. You are greeted by a nice hostess and then you are quickly sat and in no time the buzzer come in with chips and your pouncing hunger dims as soon as you take a bite of their delicious chips. All and all great restaurant to go to, totally recommend. read more
