Made me laugh while waiting in line!!

As visitor in town, I was searching for someplace for a delicious breakfast, and I found it here! Their chicken and waffles was delicious! The waffle was cooked just perfectly, and the chicken tenders were amazingly tender!!! will definitely return another time!

We stopped in before the rush, expecting a smooth experience, but unfortunately, it was far from that. As first-time visitors, we were surprised by how unhelpful and, frankly, rude the staff were. We paid $7 for a side of potatoes that never came out with the rest of our meal. When I asked about it, the response from the staff member was surprisingly rude. The drinks were placed on the counter when we ordered, but no one informed us of this system--luckily, I noticed and grabbed mine. However, my coffee never appeared. When I asked about it, a staff member snapped at me, insisting I should have already picked it up--even though it hadn't even been made. As for the food, the eggs were so poorly cooked that we couldn't eat them. Overall, the experience--from the service to the food--left a lot to be desired. We won't be returning.

Back again for brunch on Sunday, y'all. It was THAT GOOD! Shareable mimosas, more of the incredible pulled pork fries... wish this place was closer to home (but I'd bet my waistline is glad it isn't!)

My party of 4 walked in and seated ourselves not knowing to walk up to the kiosk with menus to order. The atmosphere is casual and the demographic of the staff and customers were not the same as our party but were welcoming just the same. The food was good and the mimosas were even better. They couldn't accommodate my order of egg whites but it was no big deal. We order the basic, the morning after, the bacon boss and the night before. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. There was a little wait that we questioned but then realized the people before us hadn't received their food either. Not sure if we will be back because there's so many brunch spots in the area. It was okay, nothing to rave about. If you're hungry go there, that's it.

    Message to the Waitress

Food: Bacon Avocado Burger was good. Sweet Tea: was not sweet. Had an odd taste. Asked the waitress about it and still didn't get a replacement. Ambiance: cozy. Cute little Condiment Bar. Service: horrible. Made our "tip" decision very easy. Cashier/Waitress spoke so low (and no I don't need hearing aids). She did not possess any customer service attribute whatsoever. Was not friendly, not welcoming at all. Dropped off our food outside and never saw her again. And no they were not busy when we went there. First and probably last time going here even though the wait time was reasonable.

A great breakfast spot to visit if you're in the area. The chicken and waffles was delicious, the waffle was slightly crispy and the chicken itself was very well seasoned. Overall it was a good meal. The Italian sausage bowl was also well seasoned and delicious. It comes with queso instead of shredded cheese on top which was something new I've never had and I was pleasantly surprised. It came with two tortillas so you could make your own tacos and still have plenty leftover. The portion was surprisingly pretty big. The restaurant itself was very clean and the staff was friendly.

We were BLOWN AWAY by the number of college students, dressed in their Sunday's best, openly praying over their food before enjoying some awesome chicken. It was SO NICE TO SEE! I had a slight "issue" where I thought my chicken wasn't fully cooked and the manager reassured me that it was just breading but happily remade my sandwich to give me peace of mind. I REALLY appreciated that. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, literally leaving "not a fry left behind." The size of my chicken on the sandwich was HUGE- had to be hanging off the roll by 2" on each side! Staff were phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Love the laid back decor. When I tell you the spirit of Louisiana and NOLA was in the place! So you will miss the place if you aren't paying attention. Don't judge a book by its cover and great things come in small packages. It's a family owned and run business. By the looks of it, it can probably seat 40 people and I'm pushing it with the number. However from the time you walk in until the time you leave, you feel like you're at your great aunt's house. It was five of us and when you walk in, it's seat yourself and first come, first serve. The food came out piping hot and cooked fresh. My husband and brother-in-law got the catfish platter with red beans and rice (no pork) and Mac-n-cheese. My sister and I got the Nawlins boil that had a crab cluster, shrimp, corn, potato, boiled egg and a sausage link. My nephew got a shrimp po-boy with fries. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The fish and fries were crispy. The Mac-n-cheese isn't creamy but it isn't dry. Perfect amount of cheese and flavor. The red beans and rice had the perfect balance of flavor. The boil...my goodness the boil. They have the amount of the boil down to a science to make it a full meal. At first glance, I didn't think it would be seasoned well because the season looked like a dry rub. It wasn't saucy or juicy - until I took my first bite. I almost walked to the kitchen to kiss the cook. They are not skimpy on any of the food either. Even the po-boy had an overload of shrimp. When we were there, it was a packed house. There was also a large party who was rather disgruntled - not because of the service or food but because they were impatient.
