What a great place. Let's start with the service. Everyone was friendly and made you feel like you were the only ones they were serving. No rush, always asking if we needed anything and always had a smile. The ambience was relaxing, friendly and everyone seemed having a wonderful time. The food was incredible. We ordered appetizers and the Fried Calamari was done to perfection, the others enjoyed the Gorgonzola bread and the fried mozzarella. If you don't like Gorgonzola the house bread and dipping oil was perfect. The main course was just as good and it all came out hot. The Chicken Franchise was excellent with enough leftover for two more meals. All others agreed the food was delish. We splurged and ordered dessert as two of us were celebrating birthdays. My son and I went there as an early birthday celebration (his). The staff from the hosts to the wait staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Appetizers -stuffed mushrooms and calamari-excellent. The bread that was offered was fresh and tasty. The veal parm was thick and tender, spaghetti sauce was homemade and ever so tasty. My body thanks me for such a delicious meal today. Upset with myself that I took no good picture but means I need to come back again. Came here with family after going to a retirement party. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and fried mozzarella for appetizers. Has to be some of the best fried mozzarella I have ever had with that perfect crisp bite and oozing cheese. Everyone ordered fillet. Cook it to how you like it, rare is indeed rare and look as a medium rare comes away it should too. I have some leftovers so looking forward to having that for lunch Sunday this week. It was a nice restaurant with large portions. I didn't understand serving green beans with chicken parm but I assume they wanted to get rid of them. The proseco was served in those small bottles which was rather tacky and our server was unable to open them either time. I had to ask for a fresh glass. Went for dinner the other day, and will never go back again. My guest and I were not allowed to sit inside because we were wearing t-shirts. The hostess said it was because we didn't have a reservation....for an empty restaurant. Restaurant still had multiple open tables when we left. Our sever however was attentive, and friendly. The 'fresh' bread was horribly dry, and the oil poorly seasoned. I've had far better at chain restaurants. The calamari was crispy and well seasoned, as was the veal parm. Decided to give CIMA a go as a local foodie along with a friend of mine. We did the usual 3 meals appetizer, dinner and dessert to give CIMA the chance. We started the night with empanadas which were the special along with arrancini. Now the empanadas, no self righteous Hispanic woman could claim those as her they were bland and empty filled with a single shrimp and cheese. The only thing to do it justice was the sauce to dip. The arranchini, the bland rice balls that would make my Italian grandmother cry in shame. Salt and the red sauce saved them. The chicken saltimbocca drenched in this marsala sauce and I mean drenched. Didn't do the chicken any justice in fact it suffocated it to death but it had spaghetti floating around to keep it from drowning. Again my friend the salt needed swoop in to save the day. Chicken saltimbocca quite literally translates to salt in your mouth. But where was it ? The prosciutto was a knock off not real prosciutto de Parma , or was it been just ham ?again salt didn't exist in the chefs menu tonight. Lastly the espresso and chocolate cake. The cake was dry had been refrigerated or previously frozen and disappointing. I normally don't write restaurant reviews however last nights meal compels me to do so. Myself and 3 others went, we ate on the porch and it was beautiful. (the whole place is nice) I have been going there for many years and have never gotten a bad meal. Last night I ordered the beef tenderloin cima. It was NOT filet mignon. It was more like a cut of pot roast with the same grain and fat content. (I sent it back) 2 others in our party had the baked seafood medley. This meal had hardly any flavor at all. Our other guest had the surf and turf special and it was very good. We shared the meatball app. that was excellent. The deserts were also really good. Waitstaff could not have been better. read more

We had a great experience on a Tuesday night not to busy the food and service was great. Reserved a table on Friday night restaurant was busy we had 5 in our party. The waitress was rude and didn't really come around to ask if we'd like anything just said our food would be out soon, it took over and hour. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo had the viens in them, also they tried to pass off Beef Short Ribs as Pot Roast. A member in our party took pictures of the Beef Short Ribs previously and they were clearly not the same I believe it was Pot Roast that was served. Too crazy not to share this: Recently(8/7), some friends gathered for dinner at Cima. While seated, one guest noticed a Mercedes pull into the parking lot and smash into our friend's car. The Mercedes driver immediately pulled back out of the parking lot and headed east on Boston Rd then pulled into the small lot on the other side of the restaurant. The driver tucked the car as far into the woods as possible avoiding many open parking spots. By the time our friend found the Mercedes, the driver was gone. My friend informed our server and showed her the pieces of broken lens from the the Mercedes found near his car on the other side. The server used the microphone to announce the make, model and color of the car and asked for the owner to identify themselves. No one did. Another server realized that the car belongs to the owner, Tony. Meanwhile, Tony ignored the announcement. When the staff informed him of the issue, he said that he wasn't aware that he hit a car. Other customers confirmed that Tony NEVER parks in the small lot. He always parks directly in front of the porch. He attempted to deny hitting one of his own customer's car! Tony's the guy usually seated at the far end of the bar with a barely concealed hand gun. Pretty intimidating when you politely ask the bartender to change the TV channel from something other than FOX news. If the bartender complies, Tony yells that "This is MY bar and I decide what's on the tv"! We will NOT be back and we will make sure everyone we know is aware of this incident. read more

We waited 1 1/2 hours for our entrees and when they came out, multiple dishes were overcooked, under seasoned, and/or cold. When I spoke with one of the managers on our way out, she was defensive and did not acknowledge our experience, pointing blame at me. Very disappointing first visit. Appetizers were delicious. Main course was not. Order the gnocchi and it was the worst I ever have had. Waitress came over and asked how everything was, I just explained I didn't care for the gnocchi. She asked if it was my first time having gnocchi. I explained I have had it plenty of other times, just didn't care for this one. She just walked away. There was never any solution provided, I was never asked if I wanted to order something else. Like I mentioned I've been 3 times it's not just one bad meal. It's extremely over priced for the quality. I've had two steak meals and one chicken. Everything is extremely underwhelming. I love high end dinning, I'm no stranger to paying well over $50 just for a steak but with that price you expect a certain level of quality, being quality of the beef itself, seasoning of the meat and the quality of the cook itself. We split the meal and both enjoyed the Shrimp Genovese; it was quite tasty including artichokes, capers and a "pink" sauce served over linguini. How can I say this without being cruel but the meal was so bad that I can't hold back. Veal saltimbocca was so bad that I had to write this review. The veal( if it was that) was covered by a thick brown gravy that you couldn't tell what you were eating. On the bottom of the dish was pasta that was also swimming in this soup of brown sludge that was called sauce. All that aside if you have to watch your salt content STAY AWAY! And by the way, they're not shy about their pricing because for what they charged it should have four star but I have to give one star because I can't go any lower. read more

Cima is an ritzy Italian restaurant that also could be a steakhouse in its own right. My bf and I have wanted to try this place out for awhile since it's close, and we were not disappointed. We started out with eggplant rollatini, which was drenched in flavorful garlicky marinara sauce. The bf ordered a beer and I ordered a V-one berry vodka cosmo that was delicious--I love V-one berry vodka and it's also cool that they serve local spirits--V-one is out of Hadley. They have a lot of traditional Italian dinner options, like lasagna, chicken and eggplant parmigiana, manicotti, etc., but also a variety of chicken, seafood, and beef dishes. They serve higher priced steaks such as prime rib, filet mignon, and tenderloins. My bf got the beef tenderloin cima, which came with two 5oz tenderloins with prosciutto and mozzarella over spinach and a Marsala wine sauce. I got the veal Saltimbocca which also came with Marsala wine sauce. He got mashed potatoes on the side while I got pasta and sauce, and his steak was cook to medium perfection and soooo tender and flavorful. I loved my veal as well--we were both totally impressed with each other's dinners and couldn't decide who 'won' dinner for once! They have a good wine list as well as cocktail list, which I always appreciate. Next time we'll have to try dessert. You can sit in the dining room or tavern section--we were in the dining room. I did call to make reservations, as this place always seems to have tons of cars outside, but they weren't too necessary on a Tuesday night. It definitely is a more pricey restaurant, but we had a very nice time and are looking forward to going back. read more
