The BEST chicken Marsala around. Sauce is amazing, chicken is the freshest. The only other place that compares with the Marsala is the north end in Boston. Apps and salads are great as well. Love this place.

Food and service were both great! Sat in the bar area bartender was very nice and attentive. Keno was a plus! Definitely recommend.

Celebrated my birthday at Via Appia with my boyfriend tonight and enjoyed every minute. The bruschetta might've been the best I've EVER had. We couldn't stop eating it and cleaned the plate in record time. My BF went the Build Your Own Pasta route and got rigatoni in marinara and meatballs. The rigatoni were impressive and he loved the sauce. I got the shrimp scampi on fettuccine and it was delectable! HUGE shrimp and a sauce that clung to the fresh made fettuccine. They make their pasta in house, which really does make all the difference. The live music was a nice touch. ALMOST gets 5 full stars but my one complaint is that their pomegranate cosmo isn't made with pomegranate juice, just pomegranate vodka which doesnt really deliver enough pomegranate flavor to differeniate it from a regular cosmo. However, no reall big deal. We will definitely be back!

It's a nice place. My family of seven came in around five o'clock after the Springfield Police Memorial service for a long dinner. Our server Chelsea had fun with us. She was on point when we had finished our dishes and we conveniently placed them where when she had an empty hand she took them off the table. She is someone who enjoys her social work and will make your time enjoyable. We ordered three orders of mozzarella and three orders of portabella Mushrooms. The cooks sent Chelsea out to verify that is what we ordered and we all chuckled and said yes. Mozzarella sticks were good, I didn't have any mushrooms but the table gave them the thumbs up. For an entree I had the lasagna which was delicious. Came in a dish straight from the oven so super hot, which was a benefit considering we wait for everyone to get their meal before digging in. Everyone raved about their meals. Chicken franchise could come with a little more sauce dressed over the chicken. As you can imagine the amount of cheese I indulged was plentiful. Too much to dip into dessert which is unfortunate.

My family and I stopped in for lunch this afternoon. Service was slow but I could Tell they were short staffed. The staff they had were working very hard! Unfortunately, the food was just very bland and mediocre. The price for lunch was very reasonable. We will probably stop in and try again. Hoping it was just an off day.

Love the food, service and ambiance. We often eat at the bar and the bartenders are around when you need them and leave you alone to eat.

No rush, always asking if we needed anything and always had a smile. The ambience was relaxing, friendly and everyone seemed having a wonderful time. The food was incredible. We ordered appetizers and the Fried Calamari was done to perfection, the others enjoyed the Gorgonzola bread and the fried mozzarella. If you don't like Gorgonzola the house bread and dipping oil was perfect. The main course was just as good and it all came out hot. The Chicken Franchise was excellent with enough leftover for two more meals. All others agreed the food was delish. We splurged and ordered dessert as two of us were celebrating birthdays. Again no one was disappointed. Definitely recommend calling for reservations. Every table was occupied.

Highly recommend.

Finally, after a long road trip, we called and were able to get a table. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The drinks and appetizer arrived quickly--drinks were good, but the appetizer was not. After that, we waited over an hour for our main courses. It honestly felt like our order may have been forgotten until I asked the waitress how much longer it would be. What made it more frustrating was that the restaurant didn't seem very busy, so the long wait was hard to understand. When the food finally arrived, it was extremely salty and barely edible. We ended up paying and leaving without finishing our meals. The service was also lacking, as the waitress was not attentive throughout our visit. Overall, we were very disappointed with the experience.

Ingredient quality is way down. And the bar service was crappy to boot. Wtf! 1.5 stars

Just because you're establishment is in a rich area/town, doesn't mean you should charge so much! I don't think that's fair. The whole thing: Large Pizza & two orders of wings was a total of over 50$. To me, that's crazy. Our usual place doesn't usually charge this much & has deals. Got the pizza & wings. The pizza was great. Very light, not greasy at all and stayed true to the toppings we asked for. The Wings on the other hand, were salty AF, more so than saucy. That's sad. I like my wings crispy and saucy. Not like that at all. My fam said the BBQ wings were better. Overall, lovely experience, but i'll stick to my usual.

We called the restaurant, and instead of immediately remaking both orders, they asked us to bring the food back because they wanted to swap the orders. That means they intended to give the other customers the food that had already been taken to our house, and give us the food that had already been taken to theirs. When we got back to the restaurant, they acted like they had remade our food. I took it out to the car, and the first thing I noticed was the to-go container was already broken. Then I realized the food was cold. It became obvious that it wasn't freshly made at all.....it was the original order that the other customers had already taken home before realizing it wasn't theirs because we had been given their food. The worst part wasn't even the initial mistake. Mistakes happen. It was being lied to and made to believe they had prepared fresh food when they hadn't. They only offered to remake the order after we had already figured out what happened. Not only was the customer service disappointing, but the thought of exchanging food that had already left the restaurant and gone into someone else's home between customers is completely unacceptable. We expected much better. Now have to wait 2 days for the money to go back on the card like it grows on trees...
