So I came here for a surprise 80th party for a good friend of the family. First impression is it is a very classy place. Huge chandelier over their pool table, foosball table in the back, two large TVs, lounge chairs and benches and lovely decor spread around the room. As for the food.... the meatballs are phenomenal!! Soft and mouthwatering. Chicken franchise are a tasty bite too. The deli plater was yummy and a pleasant surprise. Bread and oil..... For desert there was a plentiful variety of cakes and cookies. Great place for a Saturday night out as a couple, a family , a bunch of friends a celebration or just because. Wonderful menu selection for both dinner choices and beverages both at a fair price for the area. Seating included both booths and tables in a very large dining area. Even with a large amount of diners it did not feel crowded and we were not rushed.The staff is exceptional, knowledgeable , attentive and efficient. Plenty of off-street parking was a treat. They do take reservations and do accept credit cards. Good food good service good parking is a win win read more

A little family dinner(9 of us) definitely did not disappoint. As usual, everything we ate was fantastic! The staff was superb and didn't even "kick" us out an 1 1/2 after closing. They were awesome. Now about now some in this town got a bit of a little mayoral meeting here & this I hit her for some coffee, appetizers & sweets. Now tonight I came for the real experience & you can also get photos to aid. First to start was the calamaris with peppers & lemon and no gripe but found a thing I didn't know of this which you need to fresh freeze due to calamaris needing a Temp no lower than 45 degrees F. Then I got salad and bread with oil & think some onion & pepper I sense. The main bit was the Cajun pasta with sauce, peppers, mushrooms & I think andouie sausage and even that was good plus the portion is enough so if you leave hungry that"s on you. Now you know. Oh inadvertently I forgot to mention the bar has booths so if you opt to dine there without dealing with like kids or such this is no issue plus the bar has also beer, wine & spirits which as I saw ate well stocked and got a good variety to go. Also they do have pretty superb desert options as well so least that is now said & I by the way apologize for that slip. read more

We just had one of the best meals every. Joe was our server and he was great, always there when we needed something, was very friendly and knowable. Everything we order was great. The Filet Mignon were the best and cooked perfect, very lean and tender. The chicken Milanese and the ribeye special were the greatest. My only complaint would be they could lose the music. Great Italian spot! Food is homemade and delicious. Service is very friendly and accommodating. We had the calamari appetizer which was a nice serving. They also gave us homemade complimentary bread, which a side of their seasoned Oliver oil. It was so good, and hot from the oven. All entrees come with a complimentary salad, of which you can choose a Cesar salad or house salad. We got the shrimp pappardelle pasta entree and the cedar plank Salmon. Both were delicious! We could barely eat more than half of our entrees. The sauce on the salmon was so good and it came with a side of your choice as well. Then to top it all off we got the peanut butter chocolate pie for dessert and the death by chocolate cake. Both of which were so delectable. Highly recommend this spot for the service / staff and the food. The atmosphere is nice (but not super fancy) and very Italian with the decorations, etc. read more

There were several issues with our party's meals. First, some of us ordered salads without cheese, but received salads with cheese. Next, when dinner arrived, the baked potatoes were undercooked (2 were borderline raw inside), and were sent back. Then, one of us ordered the filet "medium well", but when she cut into it, it wasn't even close to being "medium well". She didn't bother sending it back because she had already sent her baked potato back. Finally, three members of our party ordered the baked stuffed shrimp, and they all agreed it had little to no flavor. The bar and wait staff were friendly and very helpful (which is why I didn't give Casa Di Lisa "1 star"), but with respect to the food, you couldn't pay me to go back. We made reservations for a Friday night dinner at 830 and showed up on time anticipating a good dinner. Boy was I wrong with this choice. We both had the baked stuff cod at 20$ a plate which comes with salad and one side. Cod was very dry with a couple of tbsps of stuffing on top. Waitress offered drawn butter and it was a good thing she did because it saved the meal. Salad was decent, baked potato was rather gross. My date had garlic mashed potatoes that had the consistency of stucco you would use to lay bricks. Also had burnt garlic taste. I will not be coming back in future unfortunately because ambiance is nice and romantic. read more

Casa da Lisa has always been a sure thing for great service and fantastic food over the past ten years for my wife and I. We stopped in this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary to find the place almost empty for a Saturday night at 6pm. We were quickly seated but it was more than 10 minutes before our waiter came by to introduce and take our drink orders. When he came back with the drinks he told us he would give us time to look at the menu and we quickly asked what the specials were and he had one and wasn't very sure of himself. We ordered Calamari and a single shrimp for an app and my wife ordered veal Marsala and I ordered the Zuppa de Pesce. We both ordered salads and I went with the Caesar Salad with anchovies. The Calamari has always been the best we had but tonight was something different it was very heavy and rubbery. Some of the worst we've ever had. The single shrimp for $2.50 looked like they pulled it out of a bag ofCostco frozen shrimp and dropped it on a plate. VERY small. The salads showed up and no anchovies to be had and by the time we tracked our waiter down he apologized and said he should have written that down. The Zuppa dish was massive and had everything you would normally get but more fish like salmon and even swordfish and two scallops and one shrimp and everything was dried out. I ate less than half and our absent waiter didn't stop by to check on us. It was to the point that we thought it was his first night and we asked if he was new and he responded that he worked there for more than four years. We were surprised! The positive was that my wife's veal dish was fantastic as she expected and there were two older gentlemen one with a guitar signing Classic Italian songs. Very nice touch. We left to find the place still pretty empty for a fall Saturday night and wonder if Casa da Lisa had changed ownership as it was one of the worst overall dining experiences in a very long time. The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff tries very hard but they appear to be understaffed. We had to ask to move from our first table because the back of the booth had broken off from the base and it wiggled and squeaked. We started with the Calimari and garlic bread which were good. We waited some time for the salads and finally had to end up asking for them. They were soggy and over dressed. Then the wait for the entree was so long one of the waitresses asked us if we wanted the check. We had to explain we hadn't eaten yet. My husband had the Italian Ribeye. The was more fat and gristle than meat and it was no where as large as advertised on the menu. It came with about a half a cup of garlic mashed potatoes. My entree was fettucine carbonara. The pasta was over cooked and it was Alfredo sauce not carbonara. Overall not worth the money. read more

This is a mixed review. The ambiance was really nice...white tablecloths, soft lighting, and extremely friendly waitstaff. Martini menus are always fun! However, it was 8:00 on a Friday night and they were out of the first three things we tried to order. It kind of puts a damper on things when you have to keep sending your server away so that you can go over the menu again. And again. We started with oysters from the raw bar and they were fabulous. Really, really fresh and well-cleaned/prepared. For entrees, I had the lobster fra diavolo (minus the lobster -- because they were out). They made it with shrimp and scallops, and it was just so-so. The sauce had a nice flavor, but the scallops were painfully overcooked and had an on-the-edge-of-turning-bad flavor. Not bad enough to make you sick, but enough to make them taste more bitter than sweet. I would have sent them back, but I didn't feel like going over the menu again. I gave one to my boyfriend to try, and he chewed for so long that it actually became comical...pausing to sip some water part way through. I got grilled asparagus on the side, which was the highlight of my main course. My boyfriend went with the chicken piccata, and it was very nice. Good flavor, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The ambiance and oysters were worthy of another try, so I think we'll go back and next time I'll try their aged steaks, which seem to be their specialty. read more

We found this delightful and delicious restaurant while driving through Massachusetts. Staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They know their menu and provide great service and advice. And the MENU! Everything to love! They start you with some crusty bread and a pitcher of warmed olive oil infused with garlic and rosemary. Yes, Please! The clams zuppa were superb! -- fresh, plumb, and beautifully seasoned. And the chicken parm was the best either of us had eaten -- and that's coming from Rhode Islanders. The meal was brought to a very satisfying finish with fantabulous cannolis! Highly recommend this spot whether you are looking for some tasty, scratch-made, family cooking; for excellent service and a friendly atmosphere; and/or when you want a lovely evening out of the house. This place used to be my favorite Italian restaurant. Don't get to go there very often so I was excited to go and get my favorite Zuppa de Pesche. Wine was Good, atmosphere was good with live Italian music... but when the Zuppa came I was totally let down. Think the muscles were bad and it ruined the whole dish. Inedible. This was my family's first time dining here. I had seen what appeared as positive feedback and we were all looking forward to going. It was my step daughter's 32nd birthday yesterday. When we arrived the hostess that greeted us didn't smile. She asked what name the reservation was for and led us to our table. The waitress, Morgan, didn't know the drink menu or what was on tap. She said there's 2 different bars. First, I asked if there were any pumpkin ciders or ales, and after going to check, said no. Then she changed her mind and said they had Angry Orchard in the bottle. Our 5 year old granddaughter wanted apple juice. Morgan said no, they don't have that. Then, she wanted kid's spaghetti. Sorry, no spaghetti. My step daughter didn't get her salad, I didn't get my appetizer until after I finished my meal. My cod was supposed to have seafood stuffing. No seafood and no seasoning. It was one of the most bland meals I've ever had. Morgan also never asked if we wanted more drinks. We were not happy, it wasn't worth the money, and will never eat there again. My fiancee didn't even want to finish her shrimp, and she normally loves shrimp!This place has alot of work to do. Poor service, mediocre food, but a relatively nice atmosphere. I went and ordered take out on a Friday night about 5p.m. I ordered seafood casserole. When I arrived at home and opened the box I was shocked to find 3 tiny shrimp and three tiny scallops- that's it! This entree cost over 26.00 and this is what I got. I ordered pork chops, which were rare, and my boyfriend ordered a steak at medium, it came to us medium rare. If you want Italian food, drive a little further down the road and go to West Springfield or Chicopee, you'll fare much better. read more

Very Very Disappointed in my visit here last night. My Boyfriend and I both love this restaurant and couldn't wait to come back. However last night are visit was anything to be desired, when we first arrived we weren't greeted untill about 5 mins after sitting down. Once we were greeted we ordered are drinks and they arrived about 5 mins later, however my drink came wrong and I ordered a water with it that never came. I had planned on sending back my drink but our server didn't come back over for another 20 mins so I just left it untouched and it was never mentioned. Once we finally ordered our appetizers took another 30 mins, which is very unusual since the restaurant was very empty. After we had finished our appetizers, our server came back over to tell me the meal I had order 40 MINUTES AGO wasn't able to be served and didn't really give me a chance to change my order ( not even bringing a menu back over) just change the type of pasta i wanted with it. Once our food came, my boyfriend was happy with his, he got the crab stuffed shrimp & my pasta was cold. Once again wasn't really happy with it and wanted to send it back but wasn't ever really asked how it was and left it untouched and it was never mentioned. So now at this point I have a drink and an entree on my check that I didn't finish or even toucH. I am a server so I understand a server being busy but this was just bad, really bad. Sadly we will not be returning here again, because of how disappointing this visit was. read more

To start off, the atmosphere at Casa da Lisa is overall very pleasant. The service on the other hand is a bit lacking. We walked into a fairly empty restaurant only to be greeted by a 5 minute wait to be seated. Then our waiter took our drink order and brought our drinks. At this moment we mistakenly told our waiter that we needed more time to look over the menu. Some time to me is not 15 minutes. 15 minutes is absurd and frustrating. However I ordered the filet mignon medium rare and it turned out to be really tasty. I'm not sure it was worth the money but it was still very good. I enjoyed my meal at the Casa da Lisa but the poor service and price are definite turn offs. Enter if you dare. read more
