Pretty easy on and off right of the highway. Price point is pretty fair for being in the metro area - $10 for a large bucket of balls and $8 for a small bucket. A $10 bucket usually lasts me about 45-60 minutes. This location offers a no-frills, simple set up for driving and working on your golf swing and range. People here are very chill so it is perfect for people who are new to the game, terrible at golf (me!), or just wanting to stay fresh before you go out on the course. It's not fancy but it is not trying to be. It is a place to launch some balls (or in my case, desperately try to without looking like a fool!). I want to mention something that has come up in other reviews about this place not being welcoming or friendly to others. With that being known, I kept an eye out specifically for this type of attitude. The guy working the lot was very kind and friendly, and not just to us, but to everyone who was on the course. He gave advice and tips to people, chatted about his own golf games, and in general, just shot the breeze with people as he went about his work. There was a good mix of people from all walks of life, backgrounds, etc. and no-one was treated unfairly or in poor taste. For the price, ease of access, and friendly environment, I will be back and hopefully be better at my game =)

It's a par three course, so every tea shot is to the green. There's water, and trees and enough things going on to keep you going. It moves fairly quickly, you should expect to be finished in about 90 minutes. There's also an 18 hole championship golf course for those who want more of a golf challenge, the course rents out, golf carts, and even clubs for those who don't have their own. There is lawn bowling, and a nice clubhouse for those who want before or after golf activities. The employees are always friendly, parking is easy, I look forward for better weather to return to get back on the course.

It was a nice warm sunny spring day, which may be why the park was quite crowded with people enjoying it. Lots of walkers, joggers, cyclists, and even a rollerblader were making their way around the lake on the 3.125 mile loop. The loop is broken into two paths, with the outermost ring for higher moving traffic like bicycles. Both are paved and in good condition. I'll admit, it was a bit busier than I'd've liked. I like my nature hikes to feel more isolated and peaceful, but I still always appreciate public spaces designed for recreation for the surrounding populace. We parked up at the north end and noticed on our walk that were was also parking available on the south end and the west side. Also on the west side is the beach house and beach access, a kiddie playground, and a peace garden. When the lake is frozen over, many "thin ice" signs will be placed about to warn folks of danger. Due to seasonality, every toilet we came across was locked up. Thankfully there was one large port-a-potty in the parking lot on the north end.
