Cin Cin Happy Hour ... 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday to Friday. In addition to their Happy Hour Half Price Menu, you can also order of the menu for La Strada. Heather is a great bartender and service is alway great. Calamari is always perfect, although next time I order I'll hold the Aioli and just get extra marinara sauce for dipping. It's our new year tradition to start with a happy hour. Since we were staying at ElDorado we decided to check out Cin Cin. The atmosphere is very quiet and romantic. Very inviting for long enjoyable conversations. We sat at the bar and ordered the calamari and grilled octopus. The calamari were ok. Not bad but not special either. The grilled octopus was good. Not extraordinary but perfect fine. For dessert we had tiramisu. This was sinful. Thank goodness loosing wait it's not our New Years resolution because it would have been out of the window. Note to self: happy hour every day and dishes are half off. Something to take into consideration is that the pasta dishes are from La Strada, which is next footy, and offers extraordinary mushroom tortellini. My only "but" is that when one of the bartenders opened a bottle of bubbly the cork hit my boyfriend in the face! It was funny but not funny. It's a good place and I recommend it. Cin Cin is an amazing bar/lounge! My husband and I found this hidden jewel inside the El Dorado hotel. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint. Our bartender, Kelly, was wonderful! Her customers service skills are excellent and she is extremely professional. She served us immediately and continued to check on us through our visit. The drinks were great and the food was awesome. We have been staying at the El Dorado for the past 10 years and we have tried most of the restaurants and bars along the row and Cin Cin is the absolute best place to go for a drink and food. I've been here two times now. The first time was the private event for Yelpers, and this time I came back with a buddy to have him try the Dolce Picante Margarita that Annalisa makes with it's spanked basil. You see my buddy likes spicy and likes a good margarita...this drink puts both of those things together perfectly. In fact I might actually venture to say it's my all time favorite drink. It's really cool when the sweet hits, then the spicy heat comes in at the back of your mouth then finally the alcohol warmth smoothly finishes the experience. We arrived at just about 4:30 and ordered up our first round. This isn't a bar where they have bottled mixers in the back. The only corporate labels I saw were for alcohol and for Tres Agave sweetener for the tequila. For our second round we had the happy hour special $5 Blood Orange Margarita. It was good, not too sweet and of course still hand crafted. Next time I might start with this one because the "3D" experience of the Dolce Picante outshined this one. For food we had a Antipasto plate and the Clam & Mussel bowl. During Happy Hour they have half off of the bar bites menu. The antipasto plate was only well priced because of the Happy Hour special. If we would have paid the regular $24 for our plate we would have been not satisfied. However the clam & mussel bowl was spot on for a special price $8ish. In the "best clams in Reno" competition this one would come in a really tight second. The broth was spicy and flavorful and of course the mussels and clams were not chewy but were cooked right proper. The atmosphere is dark...and darker. Can't effectively use a phone annoyingly snap shots of my food and drink!! I know annoying, but lots of Yelpers like to check out the goods before they come all the way in to a place to eat. They have couches and high tops and low tops and of course the bar, all very comfy and classy. The wood here is good and even thought the space is open to the general casino area there was no noticeable bleed of smoke or noise into this bar. I'm not a bar guy, I don't really like going out and spending 2000% more for a drink than I can make at home. But this bar is truly the exception to that rule. The staff both times I have been have been really good. Annalisa of course is excellent and is the reason I came back. Her knowledge of drinks and her style of mixing is the style I have liked the best. Her team is friendly and know their stuff as well. I hope they can continue to get the great staff as they increase in business. So next time you are downtown and want a nice happy hour or just a nice hand crafted drink. I am definitely not a bar fly anymore, but Cin Cin may get me back into the habit of a nice cocktail before dinner, or after dinner, or instead of dinner. We were introduced to Cin Cin ( and the amazing Ms Annalisa) at a recent Yelp event. I was blown away by the delicious concoctions that were put together for us at the event. We decided to go back to have a drink and see if this might become a regular stopping spot for us. We did a repeat of the drinks we sampled before - my husband had the "Ring of Fire" and I had the "Ginger Smash". Both were as delectable as we remembered them. The space is warm and comfortable with a variety of seating options. We chose to sit at the bar, but there are comfortable chairs and couches as well as tables both low and high top. It is a space that can handle a large group as well as a more intimate menage a deux. There is a bar menu as well as full meals from both La Strada and The Prime Grill. This would be a nice casual option for dinner. We will be back perhaps next time when we are going to have dinner at La Strada, meeting friends from out of town, or maybe just because it is Wednesday and we deserve it. read more

Cin Cin is located on the second floor of the El Dorado Hotel and Casino on South Virginia St. Their happy hour is the best I have found to date in the Reno/Sparks area. Great ambiance, usually quiet, a bar and tables located by La Strada, the signature restaurant at the El Dorado. In addition to the Happy Hour Menu, they usually have a couple of other specials. My wife and I had 2 glasses of wine each, we shared a Ceasar salad, a small spicy pizza and a plate of fried calamari. Delicioso! Tab was less than $50. They have a great bar tender and waiter/waitresses to serve your needs. Extremely friendly staff wanting to accommodate your needs. .First class place with first class food. Can't speak to the food since I didn't order any but the cocktails were great. No menu but tell the bartender what you like and they can offer up something that fits the bill. The only miss during my time there while waiting on family and friends was the one where I asked for a specific liqueur that struck my fancy and it did not taste anything like what it was supposed to. This might change in the near future. It's a dimly lit bar/lounge on the 2nd floor of the Eldorado. There is no smoking or gaming in this venue. The bar has plush high boy chairs perfect for cozy drinking and eating. There are several seating options sofas, club chairs and highboys. Two of the top bartenders in town work there: Ashley (I think) & Michael. Michael reminds me of an old time bartender -- friendly, efficient and occasionally cheeky. Leslie is queen of the herbs! She can make any drink you like even better with locally grown herbs. The food is from the La Strada menu. Some of my favorites are the Antipasti perfect amount of meats, cheese and olives; great for a quick snack or when I'm not sure what I want. The Mussels are always a good choice. BREAD BASKET....let me rephrase GARLIC BREAD BASKET!!!!!! The Beet Salad is lovely but I think it's seasonal. Always a good choice when on the menu. It's a bit like Cheers for me as at first I wasn't sure if Ashley recognized us but then she asked, "Where have you ladies been?" Always a good time. Monday is industry night. We didn't know about this bar after being in Reno for a year, but we will now add it to our mellow favorites. When we walked in I felt like I walking into a Library/Reading room. All the rich browns with over-sized couches and chairs made it the perfect place to relax with friends. Great television placement if you want to watch the game. Our server was very helpful and whipped up one of the best drinks I have ever had! I cannot tell you what all was in there it was Southern Lemonade (anything from the south has to be fabulous right) and it had fresh basil, peach schnapps, bourbon and was garnished with a fresh raspberry....FABULOUS! Some of the friends with us had some hand-crafted drinks with blueberries and vodka which looked equally refreshing. I'm one of those locals that tends to avoid casinos...but I have officially taken note of Cin Cin. My friend and I each ordered tequila cocktails. She apologized and said she had been serving her boss. We had observed one table that seemed to need a lot of attention. Wine was very pleasing: Fume Blanc and Siena. Generous pours. The Siena was the Happy Hour special and only $5 a glass. The Fume Blanc was "free" as we used a coupon that offered a free glass with purchase of an appetizer. The food was disappointing, but fortunately half price because it was Happy Hour. The serving of minestrone soup was small -- and the waitress managed to spill a bit as she was serving it. No great loss. If this was the minestrone that was served at La Strada -- and I assumed so -- then I wonder about their food in general. The soup was watery and very few vegetables, no pasta. The calamari was run of the mill. Very pale breading. Looked as if it should have been cooked a bit more, although it tasted okay. Standard dipping sauce. Might give Cin Cin another try during Happy Hour. Would love to bump to four stars -- which was my first impression. Honestly, I can only rate it three stars now. read more

Some friends and I came here for the half price appetizers and other happy hour deals. The deals are great, especially $5 cocktails! I ordered the coconut shrimp and honestly it was just okay. The sauce was a little too sweet for me. I was really impressed with the coconut on the shrimp and really there was not a lot of batter which was great. It might have been a good idea for me to order more food so that I was not still hungry, but I was not as impressed with $7.50 for 4 pieces of shrimp even at half price. So to me $14.50 would have been crazy to spend that on. The waiter started out great, but then was super slow. Even forgot several peoples items and drinks that they ordered. Took my family here after dinner for some drinks. The atmosphere was very chill. There where 5 of us total so we sat in the couches in front of the tv to finish watching the Giants game while we drank our lemon drops, champagne, bourbon, tequila & watermelon grog (DELICIOUS). What a nice, refined, and relaxing bar and refuge from the rat race at the Eldorado Casino Hotel! The loud music at Roxy's drove me and my friends out of there (hard to have a conversation and hear), so we walked over here to Cin Cin next to La Strada. Bartenders know their craft and can pretty much make you anything. Nice and quiet (as quiet as can be in a casino), but there is no smoking or gaming in this establishment, and also a better class of people in this bar. I read about rude service at this bar from other reviews, but I didn't notice that at all. Is this the best bar I have ever been to? No, but it was a welcome relief here at the Eldorado.
