This is a killer bar inside the El Dorado. Tucked away in a corner that would be easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Plus when you are there it feels like you aren't even in a casino. We've been many times and each time is a great experience. Came in on NYE this year and had such a fun time. The bartenders are all fantastic and can really make some unique cocktails. This place makes great drinks but the bartenders were very rude! We asked if they had a drink menu and they said they could make us what ever we wanted without ever looking us in the eye. It's as if they could not handle the Friday night crowd. It was crowded but not overly. They had lots of interesting ingredients on the counter such as herbs and fresh fruits and veggies for drink concoctions. I saw the kumquats and asked what drink do they make using that. The reply i got was we could make what ever you want..... Again answering as they walked by and not stopping to recommend anything. They didn't have a drink menu so it wasn't like we could order something fancy and try something new. Needless to say we had only one drink and found our evening entertainment elsewhere. My advise to all the bartenders there is be more friendly/approachable to your customers. If you're working for tips you need to at least pretend you like your job. What a fun bar. It wasn't very busy or social more of a cozy atmosphere. The bartender was really a mixologist and made amazing drinks based on what we said we liked. I had an old fashioned but with muddled blackberry and a liquor with a bit of quinine. He made my guy basically a tequila mule but with fresh ginger. The next round he just made up. Not sure what the BFs was except delicious. Mine had whiskey and a caramelized grapefruit peel. Also not sure what else but it was also fantastic. Give it a try. read more

This place is a hidden gem, tucked behind an Italian restaurant in El Dorado Casino. So glad we found it, and enjoyed the happy hour, which I believe is everyday from 430 to 630pm. This place is very easy to miss but if you find it, you won't be disappointed. There are no drink menus, because the bartender will make a customized crafted drink to your taste and desire. Our bartender, I think her name is Ashley, was on point with our drinks and was super sweet. I couldn't be happier with our service and my drink. I had the lavender lemon drop and it was perfect balance of sweet and sour with the smooth scent of lavender. I can't remember what my friends had, but they all raved about how much they were pleased with their drinks. We also ordered an array of different appetizers to share, and we each tried the half order of their signature wild mushroom ravioli. Yummy! My order alone came out to $19 -- this was for a cocktail, an appetizer of calamari, and half order of the wild mushroom ravioli. This became our go to place! The first night we stayed at The El Dorado we were meeting our son's girlfriend's family. We descended upon them with about a dozen people and they went out of their way to make it a great evening. They gave us the middle table and moved chairs around, brought several appetizers, many drinks, and no one was ever once waiting or wanting for anything. They took group pictures for us, answered questions about the hotel, and were just all around amazing. This place is super cool, with amazing food and drinks, awesome decor, and great scenery. My husband and I fell in love with this place. It's low key and relaxing yet has an upbeat atmosphere. Every song they played was perfect and brought such an amazing vibe to the place. The decor was luxurious and the ambiance was romantic. The music they played is what drew us in. Sublime, Bob Marley, 311 and other up beat 90's classics. I met two friends here for Happy Hour. Half Priced and drinks and food from 4:30 to 6:30. Like other Yelpers have mentioned there isn't a drink menu. You can tell the bartender what you like and they make you something off that information. Or if you are like me, tell them what you are allergic to so that you don't have to worry about an allergic reaction. I know, I am that kind of girl. The food menu on happy hour while limited is still quite tasty. We ordered the bruschetta and calamari. The calamari isn't just the normal calamari rings, but also whole baby squids. The garlic bread which isn't listed on the happy hour menu is amazing. Ask for that! All in all not a bad little place for meeting friends after a day of work. A little dimly lit for my taste, but comfortable seating and non smoking, any place that serves food in Northern Nevada is now non-smoking within the restaurant even in the casinos, without any gambling machines at the bar which is a nice change of pace considering it is in the Eldorado. read more

We had a great time on a Tue. night no less. The atmosphere is romance, and the mojito was superb. Zsa Zsa was top shelf exercising her remarkable skill as bartender. This bar is not very good. It always seems empty even with the casino providing $10 comp coupons. Part of the reason may be bartender Zsa Zsa who is extremely undependable. Sometimes she can be found at the bar ready to serve drinks, sometimes you have a wait until she appears from doing whatever. Sometimes she makes drinks according to specifications (a supposed emphasis on natural ingredients), sometimes she mixes unholy artificial stuff (corn-syrup based sweet & sour acid). This is a good place to sit back an relax. There weren't many people in here but that just made the place a little more special...and quiet. We had the bar tender surprise us with a festive drink because we figured it would be a good test. We were blown away. We got a caramel apple flavored drink that didn't have an alcohol after taste. I don't remember what was in it or the name but it was truly one of the best drinks I have had at a bar. I wish I had more time and money or else I would have easily stayed longer and tried out more scrumptious drinks. There was something that keeps me from giving five stars but I still can't put my finger on it. Knowing me it was probably the cost of the drinks, but who knows. After striking out at the Sterling I went to Cin Cin, greeted me, offered me a table or seat at the bar. I opted for the bar and was served a generous 7&7. I order d5 the 12 oz rib eye with garlic mashed and salad bar. The bartender escorted me to a incredibly well stocked salad bar, fresh, clean, and a great selection. My steak came about 10 min later - perfect. It was cooked medium, as I ordered and was tender and tasty to the point sauce was not needed. Overall excellent service and meal. Not the best at all. Service was really slow despite the bar not being at all busy. We had to send drinks back three times because they were made incorrectly, and not like, I'm being picky and there's too much lime in here, but you made this drink with the complete wrong alcohol and mixers. They never actually did get it right. We ordered an Old Fashioned and Tom Collins... not exactly difficult drinks. It does have a nice quiet atmosphere, but I don't think it was worth it. My friend and I had drinks and appetizers here last night. It was excellent. The bartender, Lyndsey was super nice. She really knows her craft of mixing drinks! She was mixing fresh berry drinks that were amazing. The appetizers were delicious. We had the Asparagus, Bruschetta and a dish that had tomato's with mozzarella/basil. A great place to come to grab drinks or meet for a date. A low lighting ambiance and classy setting has cin cin ranking high in my book for a place to grab a drink. Micheal is one of the bartenders that have been around for a good while and makes great drinks. You give him a alcohol you like or even just a flavor your craving and he'll nail it! I recommend this place to anyone looking to start off their night smooth and bar hop to the break of dawn. One of my favorite drinks to grab in the summer time is the greyhound. We usually eat at Cin Cin prior to going to the Eldorado shows, and usually really enjoy it. Went last night and was disappointed! Not much of a selection to chose from re: appetizers- we chose prosciutto wrapped prawns-quite salty! also had the bruchetta-was soggy and the topping tasted like pickled vegetables. We had the calamari before and was yummy-last nights was chewy and no taste. We also had the Siena wine which was very good-but the appetizers not so much. read more

Came here for happy hour today and it was great! Our bartender, Ashley, made us a bunch of custom drinks which were all amazing. Happy hour drinks were $5 each and then, once happy hour ended, they were only $8. Appetizers were half off and come from Prime Rib Grill and/or La Strada - order from one or both. Highly recommend! The first time we were here, the service was good. The food from La Strada was excellent. We came back tonight, the crowd was no bigger than the first time, but the service SUCKED!!!! We waited for 15 minutes, while the cocktail waitress walking around attending to others, totally ignoring us the whole time. She could've acknowledged us and let us know that she'll be with us as soon as she can. Service is the most important part of the restaurant/bar/hospitality industry. If I don't get good service, it diminishes my enjoyment of the food and beverage. I give the food a 4 star rating and a 0 star rating for the cocktail waitress for tonight. read more

Cin Cin had/has great reviews, but if you're actually into the cocktail scene, you will know immediately this isn't an actual cocktail bar. I would have given Cin Cin 5 stars awhile ago, however they changed there happy hour times completely and are catering to the club crowd on Friday and Saturday nights with happy hour starting 9 PM. Many locals enjoy decent happy hour times and we are regulars, but I'll go elsewhere like Roxys or the Gold Room at El Dorado instead. When Cin Cin goes back to normal happy hour times I would probably go back, until then I'll frequent other establishments. read more

I've been here twice. The first experience was great. A friend and I went for Happy Hour. The bartender was friendly and efficient. Their house wine is Ferrari Carano Sienna and Sauvignon Blanc. We enjoyed their Calamari, Mushroom Ravioli, Caprese Salad and delicious Tiramusu. All outstanding. My second trip was not so great. The bar was full with a few seats open. I had friends in town so I suggested we go here since the first visit was so good. I went up to the bar since no one came over to wait on us. I stood there for at least five minutes while the bartender got drinks for a large party that was in the bar. Eventually I moved to a spot closer to where he was standing and finally placed my order for wine. When I asked about food he said he was not taking orders for food because he was busy and the only one there. Seriously, El Dorado, if you know you have a large group coming in, schedule accordingly. This must be one of Reno's great hidden gems, because a lot of people don't order cocktails. If you're into cocktails, and I'm talking classic cocktails not Slippery Nipples, this is THE place to go not only for natural, fresh ingredients but also some of the best, award winning mixologists in Reno. This place really does compete with some of the great cocktail bars in San Francisco. There is a classic cocktail revival happening if you haven't noticed or live in Reno. These guys make serious cocktails. You can also eat here with food from LaStrada and when LaStrada is closed, Prime Rib Grill. I'm always stunned when tourists come by for a wine or six Coronas. OMG it's like dudes at Chapel ordering PBRs. Chapel is also another great underappreciated cocktail bar as well as Reno Public House and the you'll never guess because they kept the same stupid name, Zephyr. Yes, they went from one of the worst dive hole bars in Reno to one of the best cocktail bars, go figure they kept the same name. You'd think a big casino bar wouldn't care much for their cocktails and ingredients but I applaud Carano and company. The only constructive criticism would be to put drapes or a wall between this lounge and the Prime Rib Grill walk way to make it a bit more cozy. read more

Absolutely love this bar. It's casual yet upscale. You forget you're in the casino and the atmosphere is very inviting. You can sit at the bar or kick back on couches or comfy chairs. The bartenders are great. I highly recommend trying whatever they recommend. This place is great! My family always comes during happy hour for the half-price appetizers, but the real reason we love this place is because of the cocktails. Although the drinks from most bartenders are pretty good, one bartender, Ashley, makes incredible drinks. She will make any request and even accommodates kids and makes them mocktails.
