Mojito mocktail- too sweet for me but looked nice.
    Breanne C.

We stopped here for the first time last night. I tried my sisters drink, and it was beautifully put together. I decided to get a mojito mocktail which was way too sweet. Unfortunately I don't think we will be back at $14-$15 a drink. Cute ambiance, patio, and bathroom. The employees came out and took our order and suggested the mojito since I wasn't wanting a drink with alcohol. They were friendly and the service was fast.

Pro tropical drink! I appreciate a clean and friendly environment where I can get a great drink, friendly bartenders and quality service. Curse of Cane checks all the boxes. The drinks are well crafted and creatively named. The flavors are solid and you can tell they know what they are doing. I'm excited to go back in the future. We did go right at opening so it was calm and quiet which honestly is the best of environments to get to try drinks. The banana drink is amazing! I advise it without any hesitation. Have a great time!

This is a very cheeky bar, cute and hip! I love the decor, the indoor plants and the pink vibes. The bartenders were super friendly. Even though it was a busy Friday night we were served fairly quickly. The drinks are a smidge too sweet for my taste, but we still enjoyed two very good drinks. One of them was One Bad B**ch, great, but on the sweeter side. The one thing that was off putting to me was the fact that they give you tiny water bottles if you ask for water. I hope they move to more environmentally friendly options to serve water to customers and ditch the plastic bottles. Will update once I have the names of the drinks.

Stopped by the Curse of Cane about midday--definitely a cute little spot! The decor is super cute and well-themed, giving off a fun, groovy vibe. It's a pretty small space, with seating wrapped tightly around the bar itself, so it's best for a duo or small group. Not ideal for larger parties. Our bartender was fantastic--attentive, & friendly. The drinks? Very sweet and super creative, but be prepared: they're about 80% ice, 20% actual drink. Still tasty though! The outside & location made it difficult to find, but maybe that's the point--adding to its allure?! Overall, a cool little place to check out for a unique themed drink.

This is sucha cute bar, I love coming here. It looks like they just updated their menu for the summer. I tried the Lychee Martini. It was fairly strong, just an FYI. My favorite as to be the 'Ain't Nothin' but a T Thang' and the 'C.R.E.A.M' They play great music. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the vibes. We also tried a few of their rums as a tasting. Not for me, but nice to know if I need rum recommendations I can come here.

Back at Curse of Cane and really close to the same experience as last time, other than this place is a lot nicer with the lights dimmed down on a rainy night. The patio is super chill to watch a rainstorm in. Came in specifically to get another shot of Plantation XO 20th since it's the only place in Reno to get it, and that was awesome. Our bartender Elijah was also great, very friendly and attentive, good conversations the whole time. Other drinks we had were totally good, no complains there. This really is the reason to bump up to a 4. I had a better experience this time and the selection is great. I'm still just stuck on the music choice, I had a glimmer of hope as Remi Wolf's Liz started playing over the speakers but then it went right back to what it usually plays and I just don't get it, it's a mash of identities. This place would probably get more popular if it didn't stand so hard on its specific music era. I may be the odd man out but the music is extremely important to me in a bar, and even the drink names, y'all come on.

Really enjoyed coming here. It was like LA or Miami in the 90s. That's the vibe I get from the decor and the music. I'm really into "boat drinks". I don't think there's anything wrong with liking that and that's what they have here. So enjoy, or don't. It's really up to you.

Came back to Cane for round 2 of the roll out and was impressed again! 6 new cocktails to try and we tried 5! Ain't Nothing but a T and the bad bitch were my favorites but each cocktail was nuanced and creative. You can tell this menu was well researched and much experimented. Service continues to be just the right amount of attentive and they were happy to answer my questions about when they will fully launch (next week maybe with a mystery 13th drink?) The vibes continue to be immaculate and the playlist is fire.

This is the cutest cocktail bar in Reno, hands down. I loved the design of the bar area and the creative cocktails. I tried the "Ms. New Booty" and absolutely loved it. They have a charming outdoor seating area that is perfect for summer.

This place is fun with a small group of people! The inside is tiny but the decor and everything makes it such a cool places to experience! The drinks are really good my favorite was the bad and boozy(blue drink) it was very good! The vibe is very fun but chill and i loved it!

Went to throw the new bar some business and it left some things to be desired. Open, modern space with fun cocktails, and a friendly bartender, but that's where the positives end for me. The music didn't match the bar vibe, the lighting was dim and seating limited. There are missed opportunities in clientele with only a cocktail and limited in type of liquor selection. I hope to see this business do well, but I don't see myself coming back for an afternoon drink

This was such a fun new cocktail restaurant! The location is great, super close to its sister restaurant death and taxes, right in midtown. I also LOVED the vibe, the interior design was on point!! All of the drinks were also all rum based which I was initially weary of but every drink I got was sooo tasty! The Ms New Booty and CREAM were my top two. Every drink was on the sweeter side though, but that was great with me. Our bartender Elijah was super attentive and great. My only complaint was the music - that kinda threw off the vibe. Elegant, fun cocktails don't exactly pairs well with "I like big butts and I cannot lie" haha. I can't wait to go back this summer when the patio is open!

The ambience of the bar is so cute! There's not much seating, so not great for larger groups. But such a fun place for a little girls night out. The drinks I tried were delicious and the staff were friendly!

My rant..I'm not from the area so I had NO idea what this place was when I walked by. It looked cute so my husband, myself and child walked up the steps and they sat outside while I went to check it out and see if this was a bar/club/ restaurant. I walked inside and instantly got the death glare from an employee. I instantly said omg I take it this place isn't kid friendly.. he rudely said no. I wanted to clarify and confirm even outside ? He said no. I apologized and they left but the vibe and way he said it was definitely off putting. My sister and I decided to stay for a drink while my husband/child went to walk around. Usually I don't give bad costumer service a chance.. but I realllllllly wanted a drink that one of those others customers were drinking. If this place had better costumer service. It would be a 5

The 1859 mocktail was great. Perfectly sweet with a small hit of miso flavor from the miso honey. Probably even better and more balanced with the whiskey! I saw that they were advertising this show...and I like a good magic show. It did not disappoint. The sleight of hand and on-stage demonstrations were incredible. I was still banging my head of how they did it or maybe it was the cocktail at the bar that was playing tricks on my mind. As a guest of the hotel, I had a 20% coupon and promptly used it at the ticket office, though I think I should have picked my seat better. Nonetheless, I was in the second row and I was able to get a good look of the magic up close. If you arrive early, you can hang out for Happy Hour, they had some unique drinks including the local standby beers and cocktails...and mocktails for those attending the all-ages show. It was fun in the bar prior to the doors opening they have a magical experience for adults and kids to set the mood for the evening. Tracy the bartender was awesome! She also works at Blitz during the day. She has the kindest soul and such a people person! It was like I had known her for years. They have a box office where you can purchase tickets. Very hard to hear the gal! They definitely need a microphone to speak to each other. If you think you're going to save a few extra dollars on those service fees - you may have to think twice, just purchase on line. It's much easier. Also, they have a snack bar with fresh popped popcorn $9 -$13 and huge pretzels $14. Chase Hasty and his wife have traveled around the world to over 25 countries sharing their magical talent and ballet dancing skills. My favorite part of the show was when Chase brought out a locked box and Hoisted the box with a rope up to the ceiling and told this guy to watch the box. Later in the show they opened the box, it was a pretty impressive trick!!! One not to be forgotten!! It's a small production but well thought out with couple extra dancers and costumes changes. I love that Chase, picks people out of the audience to help with the show. Maddox was a return kid that had been practicing his magic and Chase let him perform in front of the audience and what is that called "That's Magic!!!" It's nice the performers will met you afterwards in the hallway to have pictures and ask questions. It's a great family night or you can come to the later show at 9pm for a little more risky nocturnal show. I'll have to save that one for another time!

I understood why no staff is present and there's no front desk. They'd have complaints every night; there are two other street-side rooms. I let management know via email and they offered coffee and "breakfast" the next morning. They also offered 15% off a future stay but why. I booked direct and paid $80+ more a night than usual. How about a partial refund? What was very disappointing was no coffee in the morning for two days. I booked this hotel in part because there was a cafe downstairs. The cleaning woman, who was the only person on staff present, said the baristas just didn't show up. I got a croissant before I left and the fill-in barista, though very sweet, had no experience. They said this a few times without any prompting and I tipped them well and felt sorry they had to show up and try to figure out the espresso machine.
