Before she was admitted into the facility, our family was given a tour around the facility, and we were show around, and encourage to ask any questions or concerns we had. They provide great therapy for all patient's ,and they have lots of activities for the residents to attend throughout the day, so they can interact and get to make friends with the other residents and staff. They ate constantly moving in and out of the patients room, helping them to get wash up and making sure they are clean and comfortable. For people like my mom , who can't hardly see, the nurses and the aids come into the room, and help feed them, and get them up to go to the bathroom, and they even dial my mom's phone for her to talk to her family members, because she can hardly see to dial the phone for herself. To bring in the New Year, they gave all the residents a New Year's Eve Party, and all the people got large bags of gifts and snacks. The place has always been clean and fresh every time I was there. I just wanted to thank the caring and loving staff of Pleasant Ridge Health Care Center.

After notifying them of my intentions, I was directed to the elevators to go to the 2nd floor. The signs said only one person in the elevator at a time so I'm hoping there's stairs around when things get backed up. Anyway I made my way upstairs and immediately got in a well-social distanced queue to check in. The lady who checked me in was very friendly and then directed me to the waiting room, making sure that I only sat in a chair that did not have a piece of paper on it. I was soon brought back and my nurse was very friendly. The creme of the crop was Dr. Vickie Chan. She was so friendly, so professional, and so understanding of everything. It's always hard to find a new primary care physician when you're new somewhere and especially if you don't know how long you'll be staying in the area. She was great and efficient and I could immediately tell that I had an ally in my healthcare endeavors. So, St. Elizabeth corporate...if you're listening I highly recommend you commend Dr. Chan! I was able to go next door for blood work and get out very quickly. Overall a great place and from this one experience I would recommend St. Elizabeth Physicians to anyone in the area. The nurses and staff were always available to help my mom and to answer any questions from family members. All the staff was very kind and patient - from bringing her meals, to showers, to making her feel comfortable. She had her own room that was always clean. The facility is very comfortable - with places for visitors to sit and talk to staff or patient, away from room. Very, very clean - always someone cleaning equipment and floors.
