Having eaten here many times for lunch, I can say that the food is delicious and fresh. I like to eat the veggie Mex and they are amenable to me adding and editing things like the type of rice and picked jalapeños. I highly recommend the yellow rice. Chips are free with that meal. Device is usually great , no too quick or to slow after ordering. 1 star deduction because sometimes there is a female that answers and puts me on hold for very long sometimes doesn't even come back to the phone. Great place for a quick bite and they have lots of in store details, which was super cheap and convenient. All of their in store deals come with a free can of soda or free water. I decided to link up here with an ex coworker on a Thursday after work.....I have a friend who works close by and she raves about this place.... So upon arriving I learned this place was simply a newer cleaner taqueria....nothing more ......now don't get me wrong I appreciate the clean part.....but this is not the Mexican restaurant you come to have a beer or sip sangria or anything....it is basically fast food.... I will say the customer service was great.....the cashier even charged my phone and had no issue with me waiting for my 30 min. Late friend.....the food was on point and I see how my friend orders from here all the time.....oh....and the portions are big...... This seems to be the go to spot for people who work in the same area......the place was packed with officers from the local precinct that is directly across the street...... They had some off color things like The Bronx Quesadilla burger and the Queso Spicy burger. I just wanted a plain juicy cheeseburger and fries, so that's what I ordered. I couldn't find any reviews on TripAdvisor or Yelp! For Elias Burger House and couldn't find much on the internet, so I thought I would be adventurous and try what I thought was maybe a boutique burger joint or something. I later find out this is a pop up by cinco de Mayo, a Mexican restaurant in the Bronx. I wanted a real burger by a burger place. Not what I got, which was a cold plain cheeseburger and soggy fries from a Mexican restaurant pop up. This is not made clear when ordering on Uber Eats. The burger was ok, but it was plain and not flavorful or juicy. The fries were cold and stale, and they were either very generous or just were trying to clean out the kitchen or the fryer because the sent a TON. I was really disappointed in this meal, and never would have ordered from here if they were clearer about who they were and what their usual specialty is. The tacos are a decent size and I'm always full after 2 of them. They're very tasty and they always satisfy my taco craving. This is one of my favorite local spots, just a few minutes away from my place. I like their enchiladas, veggies are always fresh, and their quesadillas are awesome. I highly recommend the steak and chicken quesadillas with everything. The ambiance is very modern, clean, great family spot, lots of seating, and they're right across the street from a police station. You may see many cops here on their lunch breaks. A 3.5 Star rating for the restaurant after my past couple of eating experiences. After ordering through UE a few times I can honestly tell you that something is going on with the joint. It's service isn't what it use to be-their delivery service that is.... One experience ( month 1/2 ago) I ordered a platter that offered 3 tacos and a side of rice and beans. That was around $9-$11 after waiting 35 minutes for my food the platter didn't even bother to come with rice and beans, just some side lettuce! When I went to check the app the option immediately changed to sold out! (Sketchy ain't it) Twice after that: I ordered tacos tostadas flautas/nachos. The tacos are fine, they were always lukewarm/cold whenever i received them along with the rest of the other entree's. The flautas however, have consistently been dry and hard-specifically the chicken flautas. Stay away from ordering those. Tostadas are amazing! But like i said earlier, cold. I use to enjoy ordering from them, the food and service use to be better. I'll only order here from time to time when it's late and I'm really craving Mexican food or dining-in.
