    Gorditas Chicharron Prensado Quesadilla
    Rachel E.

I ordered from this place through DoorDash. "Esquites" did not have any flavor, just a little Mayo, no cheese or chilli powder. Gordita was good and the chicharron prensado was tasty. I was more excited about the birria tacos but I was very disappointed. They looked nice but not so tasty. They gave me less than half a cup of condone. I will not be ordering from this place again. If you order from here, get their "gorditas" and "agua de orchata ".

We've ordered take out a few times and dined in once. Their menu is pretty decent, some of the Mexican dishes are pretty authentic, some other ones I'm not sure if I wanna order again; specifically potato chorizo taquitos that were soggy, not crispy at all for tacos dorados. Salsas are delish and pitcher drinks are generous and flavorful. Service is prompt and kind. Ambiance is always chill and in a very quiet part of the building. The retail part of the business is a true Mexican Dream come true with all the groceries, butcher shop and general inventory they carry. I left very happy and wanting to come back ASAP!

Inside the restaurant waiting for pickup

The food here is awesome! I would say I'm a regular I've eaten from here more than 4 times and it's Pretty authentic. This place reminds me of California, even the little market. BTW this restaurant is INSIDE the Mexican food market. You can find great Mexican and International Latin spices and items here, which is amazing as a Latina. I usually get the 4 Tacos De Birria Y Consome and an extra taco like Al Pastor or Carnitas. I tried the Taco De Lengua (beef tongue) once since the food is good. The meat was very tender but it was lacking seasoning and flavor especially compared to the Birria Tacos. The food is usually good and I always forget to take Pictures! Will update with pictures one day... :) FYI I speak Spanish so it makes it much easier to communicate with the staff.

    Huevos Divorciados

The hours on Google/Trip Advisor/Yelp says they open at 6. I walked in at 6:45 am and was informed that the restaurant opens at 9. However, they offered to make my breakfast anyway. I had the Huevos Divorciados and it was absolutely delicious. Per my request of over easy, the eggs were cooked perfectly. The salsa roja and verde were nice and although the rice a beans were not particularly special, they were good too. The dining room might turn some folks off as it is worn and grungy. The service was prompt and friendly. If you don't want to wait an hour or more for a table just to get an overpriced (albeit good) breakfast at Miss. Shirley's with the hipster doofus crowd, then walk 10 minutes to come to Cinco de Mayo Dos. You will be just as happy.

Thee BEST Birria and consomé I have gotten to taste in my life! The photo does it no justice, I hd to take video lol. We should be able to upload 7sec video clips. The broth was so delicious that I did not want to waste it, so I had to drink it. You have to give them a try even if you are not close by it is WORTH the gas mileage. I can taste the love every single time I order this dish.

The food was amazing. I went with a friend and both decided they had the best tacos we've ever had. Great service and truly delicious food. Amazing portions for the price and will definitely be back.

This is the no frills, best authentic Mexican restaurant I've been to! The food here is right on point and I would've never found this place if it wasn't for my fiancé. When I walk in I think, why are we wearing in a grocery store? Then I realized the secret is all the way in the back of the store. This is one of Baltimore's best kept secret and I hope it stays that way! There are a few tables in the restaurant and every time I visit it has never been full. I have noticed that a lot of people tend to order out. What to get? The horchata is where it's at, so def order one of those to start. It's a sweet drink made out of rice, which might sound odd but I love it! I normally order the tacos here, which are always very fresh and delicious. I have also had the fried fish plate which is HUGE and is something that should be shared. The service is friendly but it does take a hot second for your food to come out, which I don't mind since it's made to order and fresh. Def give this place a try if you are in the area!

I hope they didn't cinco too much money into it

I got that suddenly Cinco feeling as I was drinking the wonderful Horchata from this tiny back-room hole-in-wall real Mexican restaurant, as I realized it's 7 hours away from where I live, and I won't be able to drink it all too often. But then you could say the same thing about my one girlfriend in Cincinnati, so that's life, I suppose. What to get: Horchata, Tacos, Everything. What else: Check out the grocery store while you're waiting. Anything else: Don't expect amazing service, just amazing food and drinks. If they sold protective sports equipment, they'd be Shinguard-De-Mayo, but they don't. You have to literally wander through the grocery store, making a right turn, a left turn, and then going up a ramp, just to find this tiny cavernous back room restaurant. That in itself, makes it worth the experience. But it just so happens that the tacos here are thoroughly authentic delicious Mexican street food. So authentic, even, that many of the staff do not speak English well, or at all. Baltimore is not exactly a haven for perfect Mexican food, but these tacos are better than any I've had anywhere in the DMV or Maryland at large. What's even better is some of the best tasting, fresh, creamy, milky, refreshing Horchata I've had anywhere. It's in my "top 5 Horchatas" and yes there is such a thing. Up there with Suadero in Queens NYC and Taco Nazo in Columbus. If it was run by old ladies that never married and like to knit, it'd be Spinster-De-Mayo, but it isn't. As I said, service isn't always great, decor is adorable but run down and gloomy, and you wouldn't bring a fancy date here (well you wouldn't, but I would), but the food and drinks are amazing. And if you want to impress your friends with a "hole-in-wall hard-to-find back-room" gem, this would be the place to take them. If it were covered in glitter and Xmas decorations, it'd be Tinsel-De-Mayo, but usually it's not. By the way, there are a couple of other locations of Cinco De Mayo, nearby (to the East), and they are better for sit-down (more like restaurants), but I always skip them because this place tastes slightly better, the horchata is better, and there's just something about that back-room-of-a-grocery-store experience. Make sure you order tacos, horchata, and the entire kitchen Cinco. And if it had sexy nude performers to entertain you while you eat, it'd be Stripper-De-Mayo, and they'd probably be wearing Tinsel-De-Mayo (especially the boys), but it doesn't, so they're not, and I apologize sincerely for that.

Wow, talk about hidden. I'm with the over reviewers that this place would not be found if it wasn't for Yelp. When I walked into the place, I had to ask the grocery store workers to make sure I was in the right spot. They kindly directed me to the back of the store, where there are several booths and tables, a fridge with various drinks, and a television playing television in Spanish. I sat down and ordered two beef and two chicken tacos. I just had water to drink. I waited for about ten minutes for my food. The tacos were actually a pretty good size. They had generous portions of chicken and beef. They were pretty straightforward. I just added some lime and hot sauce, and I enjoyed them. The service here is friendly, and the environment lax. It was a good option for a quick lunch. I would repeat.

Great hole in the wall type restaurant located behind the Mexican market. The portions will definitely have you in a food coma. The horchata is one of the best in the city!

This is definitely the place to stop for cheap but quality Mexican food. The restaurant is tucked behind the grocery store and is separate from the meat counter. The food is delicious and authentic. We were even served chips and guacamole before our meals came out. I highly recommend Cinco de Mayo Dos!

Beef ribs were outstanding. Atmosphere and prices were great as well. The restaurant is in the back of the market and has about 7 tables.

You can become sick if you miss the nastiness of how this place is keep.

I have only tried one thing from Fellner's, but you can bet I'll be back. The quality of the pork…read moreribs I bought was really, really good. The meat was so much better than the last ribs I purchased from Safeway. It just tasted fresher, had a great texture (AKA not frozen) and the cut I was so picky about was better than the prepackaged grocery store stuff. There are usually a bunch of butcher guys working at the counter, and while they aren't friendly in a "hey y'all!" Kind of way, they make the time to get you exactly what you want. You don't feel rushed. They could be a little friendlier... Prices are a bit higher than what I've been paying in grocery stores, that speaks more to the quality than price-gouging in my opinion. The worst part of Northeast Market is the high counters...ugh. That won't go in my rating, but short people should be advised - there's a bit of a reach for practically EVERYTHING in there.
