I've been here 2-3 times and consistency is not a term i'd use for this place. A friend was craving mexican and i said this was the best we had, mistake. The good - The table salsa and chips were very good. We ordered a couple of smoothies which were terrific. The not so good,,,- Chicken fajitas really looked like something out of a box. Chicken was dry and overcooked and the vegetables under cooked and too hard. Very odd. The yellow rice was also over cooked, I had the chimichanga's, beef. The shells were soft instead of hard like usual, however the shredded beef was quite good. Again my red beens and rice were nothing to excited about. GREAT service. The people that own this place/work here are fantastic. The food is good. Typical Mexican fare. I've had better, I've had worse - but it definitely satisfies the craving!!! I went this past weekend with a couple of friends, it's BYOB, so we brought some wine and munched on appetizers all night. They let us stay, they chatted with us, and even though our bill was only $25 at the end of the night (yes we left a nice tip - over 50%) they didn't care. I will say this.. the fajitas are incredible. This is easily the best thing on their menu. They also offer entrees like Chicken Diablo and Chicken al Limon as well, so it's not just burritos and nachos. read more

The food is ok but the service is literally HORRIBLE. They take forever to deliver, well over an hr within fort lee. They send the wrong food, that just coincidently costs way more than what we ordered and refuse to even acknowledge it. I was looking to try something new for take out in fort lee n found this place on yelp. All I can say is this is a hidden gem and I wish I found it sooner. I got the shrimp veracruz burrito and it was incredibly authentic flavorful juicy and came with chips salsa n guacamole..very impressed by the guacamole which was fresh and didn't show signs of oxidation.. portion was excellent ..for 15 dollars very worth it. My office ordered lunch and it took an hour and a half for the food to be delivered .5 miles away. We all were starving at this point and would have eaten anything. Whenever I get a delivery, the food is always cold but whatever, I have a microwave but THIS time, not only was my food stone cold, I ordered a strawberry smoothie and it came as piña colada smoothie, my food had no rice and beans when it said it cAme with it and I ordered a sour cream that never came in the bag and they charged me $3.00 for it. My family and I have been going here for a few years now. Up until recently I would have given them 4.5 stars. We've eaten in, and done take out (both pick up and delivery). I'm really disappointed that we weren't able to get our order. We ordered online like we usually do on Cinco De Mayo. I expected they were going to be busy and I set a delivery time. They've always delivered rather quick so I set the time to give my family enough time to get home. I wasn't expecting it right then, more of that's the earliest we wanted it. Well I missed a call from them and didn't realize it and no message was left. Well I'm checking my email and I see they've cancelled my order. No explanation whatsoever. If you're going to cancel an order and call the person regarding that order maybe you should leave a message as to why. Maybe they had too many orders, maybe they couldn't deliver. I don't know. I tried calling at least 4 times. The phone either rang constantly with no one picking up or it was busy. I would have gone to pick up my order instead if possible. So needless to say we ended up eating TV dinners and now my family isn't sure that they want to continue to give our business to them. So because of past loyalty I'm giving them 3 stars instead of the one stars that other people have been giving for the same problem. read more

I ordered this place for the first time today for delivery. Was upset to see they didn't take card and I only had a $100 bill on me. Before placing the order I called the restaurant to ask if it was okay to pay with it and if the driver would have change. They told me it's fine and not to worry about it so I went on with my order. The delivery estimate time was 40 minutes. When the driver finally came and I gave him the bill, he was clearly annoyed that I didn't have anything smaller even though I called and asked beforehand. Not only did the delivery take over an hour, they were missing two of my side orders which was very annoying. By the time to driver finally came back with it, it has been a total of an hour and a half to get my complete order. Will not be ordering from here again. read more

I have ordered from here a couple of times and have to admit not bad. But the reviews are spot on regarding delivery and the length of time it takes, as well as missing items. Sometimes it is spot on delivery as promised. Sometimes you can wait quite a while. Sometimes they might miss one thing or another, but never a main dish but maybe a condiment of sorts.But will say that the food is never hot. warm at best. The food is pretty good as other reviews state, but the bad reviews are for people that had issues... The service was top notch - our waiter graciously helped us and gave us extra side dippings for the home made chips. Also, the guacamole was one of the best I've ever had -- very fresh and the perfect blend. (We couldn't stop eating the chips!!) My friends and I ordered the steak tacos and pork with plantains -- they were both delicious. The rice and beans on the side were pretty good too. BY the end of the night, we were all so full and very content with the food-- surprising because we were craving Mexican food and happened to find this restuarant. Spoke with someone who claimed to be a Manager but seemed to not care until he noticed that every excuse he was giving me wasn't getting by. Short of the Long is they lost a customer. From the story I received the online set up that is here for online ordering and delivery is a "Scam", they have been having issues with the company and so called been dealing with this for the past 3-4 months. Ummm 3-4 months? LIES. The gentlemen offered to send me the meal that I ordered plus another order free. I told him I only want the meal that paid for as I know he has a business to run and giving away free food isn't what I'm looking for. Now I remind you I spent $37.20 well the food that was delivered was not the usual dinner portion more like the lunch special. So yes they made half ass made up for this mess but I will recommend you not support this business if you can help it. I emailed them the same night and waited till 2pm the next day and no reply so I called them. Yes he received my email as he read it to me but says he doesn't use this service. The food is amazing. Hands down best Mexican food you can get within 10 miles of Fort Lee. The nachos are excellent for a late night snack. We usually take out and eat at home, but if you want to eat there, bring some beer or wine and some friends to make the most of the visit. (Decor is a bit old, but who the hell cares).
