Honesty LOVE the Mangonada. Tequila, fresh mango, and margarita mixed with Chamoy finished with a Tajín rim and garnished with tamarind banderilla and dried mango. It's soooo good. Happy hour menu is a good deal but very limited.

Me and my friend meet here for drinks often, great happy hour and daily specials! The service is always great no matter how busy. Very vibrant decor, and often have live music

Great local restaurant for Mexican food. I appreciate and enjoy the complementary chips and salsa. Guacamole appetizer is always great. Tacos (street and California) and fajitas are always good. Margarita flight is a great deal and yummy -- my favorites are plain, passion fruit, and guava. Service is ok -- a little slow, so do not go if you are in a big rush. But, the restaurant has a great ambiance with Mexican music and decor/murals. Definitely a fun and relaxed vibe. There are many daily specials including Margarita Mondays and Taco Tuesdays. So, definitely a good value. Glad to have them in Cliffside Park!

If you're seeking authentic and amazing Mexican food that will blow your socks off, this isn't the place. However, if you're after good service, a relaxed atmosphere, and reasonable prices for a few cocktails, this is the spot for you!

Decided to come here with my boyfriend to let Viva Margarita redeem its reputation after going to another location previously. I definitely had a way better experience here! The staff was very welcoming and nice once we came in. The hostess took me and my boyfriend's temperatures and seated us. Our waitress was extremely nice and so sweet. She immediately brought out chips and salsa and catered to us whenever we needed and quickly. She also helped recommend things. For drinks we got the Mojave Mojito and Piña Colada. We both LOVED how it tasted and finished it all. It was so flavorful and had a good amount of alcohol that wasn't empowering. For our appetizer we got the guacamole and chips. The guacamole came in such a cool bowl and the serving made it worth the price. Plus it was delicious. For our entrees we got the Fiesta Nachos and Cuban Burrito. I always get the nachos whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant. I would give the nachos a 3/5. The taste was okay and it was nice how they added pineapples and other fruits to give it a sweet kick. I did not like that it seemed liquidy under everything and there were barely any chips. It seemed like a scavenger hunt looking for them. The waitress recommended the Cuban Burrito and it was amazing. My boyfriend really enjoyed it after he put salsa and guac in it. I tried it and I would've preferred getting that too. I would definitely revisit because the staff, food, drinks, and atmosphere was great!

We really enjoyed this restaurant. It has plenty of free parking and is beautifully decorated, both inside and out. Upon entering, you've strolled right into Mexico. The decorations are authentic, brightly colored, and perfectly staged throughout the restaurant. From start to finish, we were served by a very friendly server, Jean Pierr. He made sure that we were comfortable and ensured that our to-go orders were brought out right before we left. The complementary chips and salsa were soooooo good. The salsa was so good, that we asked for another helping. The Elote appetizer was delicious and I appreciated how they cut the corn con into three smaller portions, along with sticks in every portion. My drink was served in a large glass, was strong, and had cool colored rim salt. Our entrees were very tasty and my spicy salmon came on a bed of spinach, avocado, and salad. It also came with a side of refried beans, rice, and corn tortillas! I was very impressed and enjoyed every item. You will definitely appreciate this restaurant and everything surrounding you, as you enjoy a flavorful meal.

Ordered BBQ ribs but was told they didn't have any. Ordered from the brunch menu, never got offered the fresh fruit or juice that comes with it. Then at the end of the meal we saw it was supposed to come with so we asked to just get the fruit and juice to go. Waitress says it has to be dining in. So we said... okayyy.... bring it all over then, but with a to go container... Made NO sense. Why couldn't they just package it up for us in the first place? Waste of time bringing it on a plate with a to go container. They also didn't have the green juice we asked for, so we settled with orange. Took forever to get our check.. Just a lot of little frustrating things. Anyway, mixed fajitas were great. Food was delicious. Will likely order delivery from them but not sure about dining in again.

The food here is awesome! Very authentic Mexican food, very flavorful. I did not try any of their alcohol so can't speak for that. Service is pretty good! Also food came quite fast as well. Overall it is a very good experience! Decor is very nice and cheerful too! Definitely recommend this place! However, I hope that there's someone more attentive when you walked in, we thought the place was closed when we walked in because there's no hostess and no big open sign at the door.

Ryan on Valentine's Day was amazing. He was very attentive and polite. The food was good, and the service was on point.

We went for Friday Happy Hour (3 - 6pm) for the first time. Parking garage was easy - and free (restaurant validates) We were greeted by an elegant hostess and kindly directed to the Bar or High tops.... we like the bar so we can make new friends. The Bartender (Carolina) was attentive and lively and made a great Manhattan! We tried several food items (see pictures) and each one was delightful - tasty and nicely presented. We met some great people and the GM also greeted us as we left (dressed impeccably & very professional) If you're looking for a wonderful Happy Hour... this one is great! Will return!

Accolades end there... We ordered drinks and appetizers and waited. We received 2 drinks, waited forever for the next 2, and the oysters (Bluepoint) came simultaneously. We continued to wait for the wings - garlic/parmesan wings. We placed our food order - still waiting for the wings. Time passed, literally 1 hour - we timed it by the parking meter -before the wings came, midway through the entrees. The manager apologized and said he would remove it from the bill; the wings were partially cooked and showed up on the bill! He removed it, and we waited again for at least 10 more minutes for the new bill and the takeout box I'd asked for. The oysters were ok. There was a lot of the confit lemon aioli on the lump crab sliders, but it wasn't that flavorful. The fries would've been the best part of the meal, but they were extremely greasy (photos uploaded). If you're only looking for good drinks and a cool spot to watch sports, go here, but the food and service left much to be desired.

My husband and I were headed into NYC for an event when we unexpectedly got stuck in deadlock…read moretraffic. Rather than continue the stressful drive, we decided to take the next exit and find a nearby restaurant and La Noma Italian Steakhouse stood out as an upscale restaurant option. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance makes an impression. The space is upscale, chic, modern, and sophisticated, with warm neutral tones of crème and brown throughout. The ceilings, artwork, and architectural details all give the restaurant an elegant feel. We started with the seared octopus, which came in second to the grilled octopus from our favorite Mediterranean restaurant (we are particular about grilled octopus, so this is a compliment). We also split the Bone Marrow Bolognese. I personally enjoyed it, though my husband wasn't quite as impressed. For dessert, we ordered the Cremosa, made with passion fruit purée and white chocolate cremosa, and we both loved it. The wine and champagne selection was top notch. As a certified sommelier, I especially appreciated the curated options and variety available. Overall, I gave La Noma 4 stars because while I enjoyed the meal, my husband didn't love the pasta dish as much as I did. That said, we both agreed this is absolutely a must-visit spot before or after a movie at the nearby iPic Theater. Between the ambiance, attentive service, extensive wine and champagne list, and diverse menu options, this is definitely a restaurant we'll return to. To be considerate of the staff and timing, we looked over the menu on the way there so we would be ready to order immediately upon being seated. However, after being seated and brought water, it took nearly 20 minutes before a server even came to our table to provide the complimentary bread and take our order. It's also important to note that this was one of the last reservation slots of the night, and there were only about 4-5 occupied tables in the restaurant. Two of those tables seemed to just be there for drinks, yet every other table was being attended to and served regularly while our table was overlooked. We were the youngest of all the tables and dressed accordingly and they seemed to pay more attention to the table of men in button ups and suits. According to other reviews, seems like this isn't the first time they pick and choose who they want to provide good service for. We ordered a good amount of food which are shown in the pics below to be shared with 2 of my close friends and myself. Props to the bartender, the Espresso Martini from here has to be one of the best we've tried!! We ordered the steak Medium Rare, and received it back perfectly cooked. It was seasoned well but wish it came with a more generous serving of the veggies, The Oysters tasted very fresh and sweet which we also loved! Pastas were very flavorful but definitely way over priced for a serving enough for just one person unless you're planning to share everything family style. Ambiance of place is very nice and aesthetic and was pleased with the food, the only reason why this place is getting a 3/5 star is because of the service we had received. Note: They also add auto gratuity of 20%... which is another reason. For that I expect better service than what we received... it felt like there was little incentive to provide quality service when the tip was already guaranteed regardless of the overall experience. Hopefully next time we come back we will receive way better attentiveness.

Established in 1969 on the site of the former Bicycle Club, Giovanni's Bicycle Club features irresistible flavors of Italian cuisine from family recipes using the finest ingredients. The reservation was easily made via OpenTable but was not necessary on a Sunday. Upon entering this two-story building, my partner and I were greeted by the host, and a few patrons were enjoying their meal on two enclosed outside patio decks with fans in the summer, so we joined them. The windows could be raised for that inclement weather, and heaters turned on when needed. They do have a main dining room, with the front bar much fancier. A few small bicycle artifacts make the place memorable and unique. We decided on the Philly Cheesesteak and Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad. Complimentary bread with dipping oil started our meal. The food was tasty with a healthy portion. The price was a bit pricey. The service was friendly; our server was Buket. We could recommend this place.
