I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

Includes the socks, tie, and the whole suit. Customer service was fantastic, they are very helpful on finding the right size and let you try on different sizes to make sure it fits you. The lead time for a tailor is about 3 weeks, that's the only down-side... so it is best if you plan ahead of time before your actual wedding date. Located in downtown Santa Ana so there is street parking, but there is a small lot behind the building with only 5-6 spots.

The community center is already gorgeous but somehow they were able to beautifully transform the space into a dream for our baby shower/wedding with beautiful blue and white themes. The absolutely breathtaking blue and white table arrangements accented the location so well that it looked like that was how the community center was meant to be designed. Not to mention the entire team on the ground dropping off the equipment for the space were very kind and extremely quick to have all the equipment onsite to give enough time to have everything setup in time to be as beautiful as it it turned out to be. Our guests couldn't stop gushing at how gorgeous everything looked. When I asked about dresses, the associate kept emphasizing how "expensive" everything was, repeatedly mentioning that pieces were hand-made and costly in a way that felt less informative and more like she was assuming I couldn't afford them. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. I only got to try on one dress, and even then, there was no real effort to help me explore options or make the experience enjoyable. It felt like she didn't want to assist me or take the time to work with me at all. The shop itself is in a house, which I don't mind, but the customer service was extremely lacking. On top of that, many of the dresses seemed too short for taller girls, which made the selection even more limiting. Overall, I felt unwelcome, unsupported, and honestly discouraged. Qipao shopping should feel exciting and special, and this was the complete opposite.
