It was my first time meeting her when I took her my wedding dress and wow she went above and beyond for me she took my dress with only 4 weeks left to my wedding and gave it to me a week earlier than I expected it! Thank you TITA! Always call ahead of time because she usually has someone in and she is a one women show so she sometimes steps out to eat ! I LOVE TITA! She is the sweetest lady ever.. so efficient! I went In with 2 bridesmaid dresses needed to be shortened and smaller she did both dresses in 1 week! Great customer service and great work! Truly loved the entire experience.. along with her hours of operations worked out perfectly. My wedding day was spontaneous, only 3 days away! Already having my wedding dress, I called every alteration shop in town and understandably, nobody was able to do it with short notice. Tita did. She even waited for me after store hours to fit my dress...AND she had it done so fast! I couldn't believe it! Dropped it off Thursday PM, she had it done by Saturday AM! There's also a decent selection of veils and hair combs at very affordable prices. I had enough money to purchased a veil and she offered to iron it for me! I am not sure if the nice lady that helped me was Tita but if she is her, then I fell in love with her. She was so helpful. Her prices are unbelievably low low low and the quality of the dresses are high high high. If you can't find a dress there, or in the catalogue, you can tell her exactly what you want, how you want it, the fabric the style and she will make it for you for cheap cheap cheap. Going through books with her felt like I was with a family member that was so helpful and caring and just wanted to do whatever she could to help me. I am definitely going to use her. I went to another dress store in Downey with higher reviews than this store and the lady was rude so we walked out. She could not get her behind off the chair to help us so we walked out. My friend had us get our bridesmaid dresses from here. Tita is really nice and helpful. I absolutely love that she allows a payment plan. Being a broke college student I wouldn't have been able to afford the dress without that. The dress was beautiful and good quality. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because I came twice during the hours posted on the door and no one was there. Once at 11:30 (they were supposed to open at 11) and once at 6:30 (they close at 7) so definitely call before going to make sure someone is there. Other than that, I highly recommend! read more

They are absolutely amazing they have a great selection but most of all the best customer service you could possibly ask for! Tita is the sweetest lady EVER!! I want to tell you guys a story on just how great this place is.. This weekend I had my best friend more like a brother's wedding to attend and I had went into the wrong bridal place to get sized and everything and my friend was so angry at me cause I didn't find this out till the night before the wedding but Tita called me at 11:30 almost midnight and told me not to worry to just come in at 9:30 the next morning which mind you was the day of the wedding and she will size me and have it ready for me by the wedding! So I came in the morning and brought her some cookies for making me feel so much better and she sized me and had it finished by 1 giving me plenty of time to get ready for the wedding and she didn't charge me not one penny more for the rush or inconvenience she and her establishment totally exceeded all my expectations and I am truly thankful to have done business with them and to have met them!! Nice when they altered my bridesmaid dress with no problem. I made an appointment for my wedding gown but when I showed up at the time noted the sign said "open" but no one was there. We waited about 45 minutes and left a voicemail on the machine. They didn't call us back until almost 3 hours later. I ended up going to another place. Also, they are cash only. read more

I was hesitant to leave my sequence gown at Tita's after I phoned several attempts with no answer. I still went after my niece had her gown hemmed there, figured it was a trust worthy place. Tita was great but her rushed job left my gown uneven and feel very disappointed. Not punctual and will deliver your dress two days after set pick up date. If it's an important gown with set date go elsewhere. read more
