My recovery after both surgeries was smooth, and the incision scars are minimal. She also has excellent bedside manner and is very attentive to details, which made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the process. Her team at the office is also wonderful. Communication is clear, appointments run smoothly, and the staff is always helpful. The office may not be fancy or full of extra services, but they truly make you feel cared for and listened to. I really appreciate the level of attention and professionalism from Dr. Chou and her entire team. Highly recommended.

She then proceeded to try to talk me out of getting an IUD, saying that because I've never had children, I don't know what pain is. She was incredibly insensitive, and I couldn't believe I was talking to a medical professional. Additionally, she didn't offer or recommend any other birth control options. Instead, she was incredibly rude throughout the appointment.

We raised these concerns during her prenatal care, but Dr. Rose attributed the changes to my wife's diet. At eight months pregnant, my wife's blood pressure suddenly skyrocketed. We went to the ER, where we were told she had preeclampsia and that our baby needed to be delivered that same day. Our son was born a month early by C-section. Thankfully, he is healthy and growing strong. Looking back, I strongly believe the warning signs should have been taken more seriously and investigated further rather than being attributed to diet. The experience left me feeling that my wife and son were put at unnecessary risk. Another major concern with this practice is the lack of continuity of care. My wife was not consistently seen by the same doctor throughout her pregnancy, which made the care feel fragmented and, in our experience, contributed to concerns being overlooked or not followed up on appropriately. This was one of the most frightening experiences our family has ever gone through. I would encourage any expecting mother experiencing sudden swelling, rapid weight gain, high blood pressure, or other concerning changes to advocate strongly for herself and seek immediate medical attention if she feels something is wrong.

ER stated it was important that I follow up with Rose after 2 days to recheck bloodwork with OB provider to ensure my low values were trending upwards. I followed up with Rose's office the following morning and received a message that I was scheduled for a follow up appointment with them. Upon arriving they could not find my appointment and I was very understanding and asked if I should schedule an appointment to see the doctor for a follow up. I was advised to go back to the ER (where I already spent $1k out of pocket) if I felt I needed to be seen. On my drive home I called to see if the provider recommended that I follow up with my GP until my appointment with Rose in May (the soonest they can schedule me). There were 3 receptionists in office and no one in the waiting room, yet I had to leave a voicemail and never received a follow up call or message. Suffice to say I followed up with my GP who listened to my concerns and went over my ER visit information and did follow up labs. I am now being seen by cardiology on an emergency referral due to heart palpitations and low potassium levels. I trusted this facility as they stated they are equipped to deal with high risk pregnancies, yet was dismissed when I tried to follow up based on doctor recommendation. I trusted these specialty providers to take care of me and my baby, and all trust has been lost. If they don't care about my health in my first trimester, surely I cannot trust that they will be able to ensure my safety, or even have concern for my well being, for the rest of my pregnancy or during birth. Shame on you.

The office staff are also pretty patient and helpful. My experience with care from Dr. Sami has been excellent and I've seen her about 3x now. Great for an anxious patient. I really appreciate Dr. NS because she genuinely cares for her patients, esp in America as it's rare to find drs here that truly love what they do and practice fairly. We needed to do our yearly physical, so she found this spot right by our apt! Honestly, I didn't really have any expectations but I really enjoyed my time here. In particular, I have to give a big shout out to Dr. Phuong Nguyen. I'm not sure if it's because I'm getting up to that age, but he was easily the coolest doctor I've ever met. Chatted it up about sports and everything and was just very easy to talk to. Conversed well and made the conversation feel natural, like I was talking to an old friend. If it's an option to request him as your PCP, I would highly recommend you do so and I promise, you won't regret it!

The procedure was done orthoscopically. Upon waking up I had almost no feeling of pain at all. I was amazed feeling like I was ready to go home. After laying there for about an hour I was able to go home. I had previously had another ovarian cyst removed by another doctor and it was removed more like a c-section and took about a week to feel better. Not here though, I was quite amazed. I have reported the owner to Yelp and Optum for threatening lawsuit. They should be more concerned with providing high-quality care and rectifying their mistakes rather than threatening patients who share their negative experiences. Please check out these other reviews from women with the same experience getting an IUD: https://tinyurl.com/4er5hecs https://tinyurl.com/3d2734ek Original review: I cannot put into a review how disappointed I am with this office. 1 star is not low enough. TLDR: My doctor referred me here specifically for an IUD insertion appointment, but I have not been able to get one as they are not accepting my insurance (despite them being in my medical group and confirming with my very good insurance plan that it is covered)!!! They initially wanted me to send over $1,000 out of pocket to some random Zelle/Venmo account for the procedure, and then "refund" me when they billed my insurance after. If I did not ask them if I had been approved by insurance, I would have paid and ended up not have being refunded! I saw many others had this same experience. Insurance billing staff was completely unprofessional and was talking about gambling while completely messing up my billing and forgetting to have me sign major paperwork. I have voicemails of this experience and have filed complaints with Optum. I have been in constant distress during the process of trying to receive an IUD with them, and have had to call them almost every day for weeks on end. The insurance billing staff is not prepared for their job. They are not knowledgeable on billing procedures and communication is very poor. I came in a few weeks ago after getting approval to go here from my GP and was referred for an IUD appointment. I came in, gave them my insurance, and paid $50 out of pocket co-pay to to have an appointment to get approved for my IUD (I never was seen by the doctor). There was absolutely no warning that they may not take my insurance for an IUD despite filling out extensive paperwork and giving them my insurance before this initial appointment! After my initial on-boarding appointment, I was given the go-ahead to set up my next appointment for my IUD insertion. However, the office staff and doctor forgot to have me sign required paperwork, so I had to come back into their office to do this before they would put in the order for the IUD. The insurance billing staff member was too busy complaining about how he lost a bunch of his money in online sports gambling (Cowboys vs. the Bears football game) with other staff rather than making sure I had everything I needed. I even had to remind them to scan my insurance card! So completely unprofessional and disrespectful. After I signed the paperwork, this is when they began telling me that my insurance did not cover the device (though I confirmed with my insurance that they do, it is literally required by law in the Affordable Care Act that major non-religious insurers must cover the IUD that I wanted). I have given up and have changed providers. I saw other reviews saying they were pushing expensive hormone injections on patients and had other questionable billing practices and I do not doubt it one bit. I really think there is something fishy going on with how they do the billing and I have reported it to Optum. I WISH I LISTENED TO THE OTHER REVIEWS, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT AN IUD!!!

I have had a month of going back and forth, my insurance has assured me and the office that the IUD I am getting is 100% covered under the preventative services Healthcare Reform Bill. This includes all co-pays related to a removal and insertion. I had to pay a copay to remove one, after going back and forth there is now a refund "on file." I am now being asked to pay a $1,000 deposit for the IUD when my insurance will pay it 100%. Why the deposit? It's their company policy and I need to speak to their billing department. How can I do that if they are not answering my calls? My appointment for the insertion of an IUD was canceled without my knowledge. I found out because I followed the link on my text, that confirmed my appointment and it said CANCELED. I would have taken time off my work to go to a canceled appointment? This whole thing should have been so much easier than they are making it out to be. I will be calling my insurance to get a new referral to a more competent OB/GYN office.
