They replaced both of my front teeth with crowns and used some new fangled high tech scanner computer to take 3-D scans of my teeth for the process. But it's not just this procedure that stands out. His staff is courteous, friendly, and follows up routinely after appointments to schedule services throughout the year. Dr. Brandt is patient, knowledgeable and most of all trustworthy. He takes only the amount of patients he can see in a given time, I don't think I've ever seen more than one other person in another room during my appointments. He focuses on quality over quantity. We've finally moved our kids from a pediatric dentist to his practice because we trust him with all of our care and value his judgment. Never one to push unnecessary procedures for money but will tell you what you NEED to hear vs. what you probably WANT to hear LOL. If you have a cracked tooth you can't afford to fix properly or remove, he can give you an estimate of how long it'll last before it falls apart in your mouth, he can try his best to patch it for comfort though He likes to educate while explaining things too which I appreciate. While I generally hate most dental visits I will say that my favorite part of visiting his office is the music, it's like revisiting my childhood every time I get in that chair LOL Don't underestimate the power of atmosphere and ambiance, it can definitely calm nerves. It began with noticing that cleanings were becoming rushed and incomplete -- sometimes it felt like no real cleaning was done at all. Over time, that lack of thoroughness became the norm. The final straw came with a serious issue involving a financing plan for my son's treatment. Although I agreed to an 18-month, no-interest plan, the office enrolled me in a 24-month plan with 26% interest. It took me four stressful weeks and numerous calls and emails (many unanswered) to get it fixed. At one point, I was even told the account could only be canceled if I opened a new one, which felt coercive and unprofessional. As a Deaf patient, I rely on email communication, yet messages often went ignored. Two years later, I still haven't received the final statement or an explanation for the mysterious $125 credit that I was supposedly owed. Our new dentist also questioned the amount of work that was recommended here -- and several of my son's fillings had to be redone because they had fallen out, costing us $750 out of pocket. I'm sharing this so others know to review their paperwork carefully, confirm financing terms, and keep all communication in writing.
