When I checked this place out for the first time, it was superb. The service was almost perfect and everyone was very friendly. However, when I went back for the second time ... it was just not meeting the expectation that I had for the place anymore. I'm not sure I got the impression because the lady who did my pedicure felt rushed and did my toe nails rather carelessly, or the nail color that I chose was too light, or they were disappointed on me because I didn't do both my mani and pedi altogether. Overall, I was NOT satisfied with the service at all. The massage she gave me was not thorough (She didn't even touch my heels; just the outside part of my feet and legs. That felt very awkward as the lotion was only on my front leg/sheen area, not the back) and she changed the nail polish color without giving me enough time to choose. The work that she did on my toe nails are just okay, on the borderline to say it's somewhat sloppy, as she had to take another customer right after she applied some top coat on my nails. Cindys is fantastic! Quick and Fantastic service, all the girls are very friendly and do great work. I'm not a fan of getting my feet and hands done at the same time and it appeared that that is what they usually do and for good reason to accommodate all the clients that come through their doors as to make sure that everyone is taken care of :) They do shellac too and Sue is the girl to see! It's only a week since I had my shellac done and my nails look awful. I went to Cindy's with some girlfriends to celebrate mid-winter break. There were four of us. Even though I was 2nd or 3rd to get started on I was done a good 30 minutes before my friend that got started on first even though I had shellac and she had just a regular mani/pedi. The gal working on me was just blowing through clients. Her work was messy. The shellac was stuck to my skin and was peeling up even before I left. I had to ask her to trim up the shellac from my skin while I waited for my friends to finish. To be fair, my friends all had beautiful work done but beware. Not everyone there does nice clean work. First, I went to the same place for 10 yrs and absolutely loved them. But they changed ownership . So I tried this place after being told by a few people they were great. Not necessarily!! All they had to do was my Ombré fill. So I went. I wasn't thrilled with them but left because I had to be somewhere. For the 5 days, I hated them more and more. The coloring was off. Some were shaped funny. And I was mad because she shortened them so much. I was then told only let KIM do them. SO I MADE A APPOINTMENT WITH KIM TO FIX THEM. She did make them better. THEN CHARGED ME FULL PRICE. Who actually charges full price to fix there screw up. And she really didn't care that someone there did such a poor job. FULL PRICE AND NO APOLOGY. I gave this place a try a few times because of its location and price. I came in during a time when there was little to no wait, so they typically did a good job in doing my nails. However, it was such a strange thing - within a week, the entire nail polish just fell off in one big piece... I have never seen anything like it. I unfortunately did not have a good experience here. This was my first ever manicure. They quickly gave me a young, and apparently inexperienced manicurist. She painted a base coat, the color I chose, and the top coat all in 4 min. She never put my hands under the dryer between coats. Consequently, the polish began to chip and bubble within a day. Ironically, I tried to remove the polish on my own and it took several intense efforts and days to remove it. Polish chipped easily but trying to remove it with acetone was like impossible!! read more

Interesting location. You have to come from behind the building or turning right as you're traveling east otherwise traffic is horrendous to make the left turn. Mani/pedi is $32. I made an appointment for my two friends and I. Thank goodness I did as they got busy on Thursday afternoon at 4pm. They seem to have many regulars as the owner seems to know everyone by name. But they also don't know how to turn walk ins away. If you're busy you can't take everyone. This is one of those times you just have to say No, regular or not. I like my mani-pedi. The young gal who did my mani was great. She was quick and precise. She was able to get my cuticles clean without even nicking me. My friend not so lucky as her one finger seemed to have been bleeding from the nicks. I have been to a few places where they have a plastic bag on the foot bath and then throw away after we are done. I did not see them clean the foot bath area but that might be me so not 100% sure. Overall I did enjoy my experience and will try again and be more observant. read more

Not bad ! Had to wait for 10-15 mins to get started because they are busy even on a weekday. But once they are with you they take their own time and do the pedi especially in an unhurried way. Although few things I dint like : very few girls who work, so they have low bandwidth and more customers. Hence they are slow. The lady who was doing my mani-pedi was getting calls every 5-10 mins which she had to attend. So it was a Lil disturbing. Coz of this distraction she dint do my manicure well. Went in for a Mani/Pedi with a girlfriend yesterday and everything was set and ready when we got there, just had to pick out a color! I want to say I'm almost always hesitant about getting mani/pedi's because I have small finger and toe nails. I usually get questioned and it's beyond irritating, I have small hands and feet so therefore small nails and toe nails. They were nice, friendly and told me my nails were cute cause they were so small. Finally, Thank you! I felt comfortable and they did a great job! I've been going to Cindy's nails since I moved back to The Puget Sound about a year ago. It was recommended to me and for a good reason. They are excellent. The attention to detail is really unparalleled. I typically have a mani pedi and waxing services. They do a great job. A couple of tips...I almost never have an appointment but they will usually find a way to fit me in within 10 minutes of arriving because I'm a regular and I come every two weeks. That could create a problem for someone that DOES have an appointment so keep that in mind if you are new to the salon. Another thing...speak slowly and be very specific about what you want. They want to get it right and make sure you are satisfied. Sometimes clarity is an issue. If you are patient with communication challenges your service will be exact how you request. Finally - become a regular if you can. They are appreciative of their regular customers and they really do bend over backwards to make you happy once you become a repeat customer. I'm lucky enough to work on 8th Street near Cindy's or I never would have found out about this awesome salon from a coworker. Many of the women I work with go here to different artists and get different things done, and we all have awesome nails. They have a large selection of colors for gel or regular polish, lots of glitter choices and they get new colors often. Everyone has great technique. I've never had a gel mani last LESS than 3 weeks from Cindy's. I've never had to wait either- but I always go midday during my lunch hour so I'm sure they get busy after 5! I'd definitely be willing to wait if I didn't have an appointment though. They are the best nail salon in Bellevue, hands down. Worst experience I have for a long time. I came in with and appointment for gel manicure. The lady that took care of me was completely incapable. 60 mins in she was still struggling completing the removal of my nail polish and filling my nails. Although the location and price of the place are accessible, my experience here was terrible. 3 of my friends and I made appointments and were on time, and even after that, a lady started painting my nails only an HOUR later. Furthemore, out of all my friends I was THE FIRST ONE to get my nails painted, 2 of them waited for hour and a half, whereas my third friend just left after a two-hour wait! Despite that, the way they handled the process itself(not including the long wait)) was terrible. I just moved from DT Kirkland to Bellevue and tried this place and I can say my nails turned out great. With that being said, I was there for a mani/shellac and pedicure. I got there at 5 knowing they "close" at 6. I don't ever want to be THAT customer who doesn't respect ppl's time. My pedicure was great, when it came to my manicure/shellac (5:45 ish) there was an extremely loud annoying crowd of ppl that entered the salon interrupting my appointment. This gal walked straight to my tech and asked "can you do my nails now! There are only 2 broken?" It wasn't hard to sit your damn self down without any direction not noticing that EVERYONE WHO WORKS THERE IS BUSY WITH A CUSTOMER. These people where rude, loud and obnoxious. Granted maybe this doesn't happen often but damn! I will go early in the afternoon next time to make sure I don't have to hear or deal with any of those customer again. I have now been to Cindy's two times with my daughters and both times, the technicians were friendly and professional. The first time we went about a month ago they were very very busy but they found away to make sure that everyone was acknowledged and started on there services in some way. Yesterday we returned and it was quiet, allowing us to be the only ones for most of our visit. It was so warm and welcoming with stories told and laughter which help to set the tone for our day. It is not often that my daughters and I have our schedules work out to spend together but I know that we will be including Cindy's Nails in Bellevue when the time permits. I was in town for one night before I caught a flight to Hawaii. I thought I'd find a place close by and this was the closest place with any reviews and they all looked pretty good. I had a fantastic experience! The woman who did my pedicure was courteous while I needed to respond to emails, but was great at creating conversation when I was finished. She was polite, the stations were very clean, and the quality of my pedicure was top notch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area! Best nail spot I have ever been to in a LONG time. Not only are they extremely affordable, but well worth a 20% tip or higher for the quality of work. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my nail tech, and I expect my cuticles and nails to look good for a tip. I had Tu as my nail tech and I couldn't get over how detailed she was in making sure my cuticles were pushed back and all of the extra skin was trimmed off nicely. I got a gel manicure and it still looks good! Usually by the second week one of my nails will start to lift and I end up peeling them all off. This will be the first time I got back where all ten of my fingers still have the polish on it after three weeks! Update: went in on a weekday for a pedicure and not impressed. I had to tell her to go back and clean up around the cuticles. She was basically petting my legs instead of massaging, and my heels were not scrubbed well. My recommendation is to find your go to person and stick with her. I should've came when Tu was working!! read more

I had a bad manicure prior going to Cindy's and Sue (I think her name was Sue) did an awesome job in a short time. Ok, I don't know why this place has such great reviews. I seriously think it's either the owners, the workers or their friends who wrote these reviews. Or maybe people who've never experienced a good pedicure, in which case they should read this review too, and reconsider going here. First off, the place does not seem clean at all. I don't know about others but when it comes to salons especially nail salons, the number one thing for me is cleanliness and sanitization. As I walked in I immediately thought, I need to leave, but I was kind of desperate as I had to go to a wedding the next morning, so I needed to get my pedi done that day. They were busy that day, so my apt was delayed by about 20 minutes. When another customer was done with their pedicure, they barely sprayed the tub very quickly and washed it off with blue liquid. I'm sure it wasn't sanitizing, but silly me instead of walking out I stayed. I sat in that chair and was so grossed out because everything just seems dirty, I felt so gross. The girls speak to each other in their language, no respect to the customers. They are very unprofessional, my girl kept talking on the cell phone in her own language bla bla bla while gloves on, I hate that stuff. Overall the customers all looked very uncomfortable and it was the worst experience, compare to other salons I used to go to (which were booked that day). The girl finally came with her pedi tools. I did not see her sanitize nor clean the tools after the previous customer. I asked her if she sanitized her tools, she said something about washing it with soap and water. SOAP AND WATER? The nail filer was gross and still had lots of white residue from the previous customer, the nail block was the same way. They obviously do not clean their tools. I've never seen anything like that. The place is not big, the chairs seemed to be cramped. The chairs did not have good massage features (if that's important to you). The place felt very uncomfortable, I couldn't wait to leave. Oh and foot massage at this nasty place was horrible, 1 minute each leg and mostly rubbing than massaging. The worst place ever do not go there! read more
