Clean theater. I've been here several times and always get the DBox seats and love it.

Update: It is now 4 days later, and still no one has contacted us about her fall for an incident/accident report. I have attached what her knee looks like now from the fall. This is ridiculous. I'm assuming the manager is not trained well or lost the paper with the contact information. This theater didnt make an accident report when my wife fell with the theater stairs. There was no lighting for your feet when using the stairs during the movie. It was dark, and she fell and busted up her knee. She didn't want to make a commotion and waited for the movie to be over, and we reported it right after. The attendant contacted a manager we spoke to him about it. I stated that I have seen theaters with lighting with the stairs, but didn't see that here, and that my wife busted up her knee. Wanted to report it for documentation. He said ok and left to go get something. We thought he was getting an incident/accident form to fill out, and all he brought was blank paper and a pen. Had her leave her name and number. He did offer an ambulance and a band-aid, but nothing else. He didn't offer her a chair when she was showing pain standing. He said someone would contact her the next day. No one has called about it. With a big chain like this, there is usually a protocol for accidents and forms to fill out for liability, and there was nothing. I don't know if he wasn't trained well or they didn't take it seriously. My wife is still in pain, and in the picture that I'm attaching is all the bruising that is developing. I dont recommend this theater especially for safety concerns. read more

Very disappointed in my recent visit here. We have visited this establishment hundreds of times. My wife and I purchased our tickets and refillable popcorn and drink like we have dozens of times, only to find out the new Manager Erik has changed the rule allowing customers to refill their drink during their movie at the bar counter. To now we have to wait in the long line during our movie. I will be canceling our club membership and switching to AMC from now on since I cant enjoy my refill I paid for unless I miss half the movie waiting in line for my refills. This is poor customer service. Very rude. read more

DANGEROUS PLACE. AVOID!! My car was stolen at the Cinemark 14 in Denton last night 12/26/2023. I have noticed the last couple times we have been to this theater (the last time before last night was to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3), that the place has groups of people hanging around aimlessly outside and the theater looks very dirty inside. Upon discovering that my car was gone, I went back in the theater to ask the 'manager' to call the police for me. Minutes later, another person appears and tells me they cannot call the police for me. WTF?? This second rando person, who was ALSO wearing a manager nametag, 'Elliott assistant manager', also refused to give me the name and number of the real manager of this dump. Makes me wonder how much crime must occur here that this is the reaction. Elliott also said they have no cameras outside. WTF?? I would never have gone into this dump if I had known their security was so bad. Speaking of security, there appears to be no security staff at this place. Triple WTF! When we finally notified Denton PD and officer B Scott responded, I was very satisfied with the response and professionalism of the Denton PD. DO NOT GO TO THIS THEATER! They have the slowest workers in the concessions. No one wants to work and all stand around talking vs serving the long line.

My family and I go here very often. I love all of the upgrades and remodels. The theater itself is very nice. The new reclining seats are amazing and so comfy. The whole concept of the theater is nice, but they need to work on their customer service. Staff doesn't seem to be customer oriented. This has been my experience on multiple occasions. I usually dismiss it because my interactions are usually very brief, but it is definitely something that needs to be addressed. If you are looking for a great movie experience, this is for you. The best days to go are Tuesday's when tickets are only $5, first showings are $5.75 and Matinee is $7.25. I am a mommy on a budget, so I am always trying to save extra money whenever I can, so I like to share deals and discounts whenever I can. They also have a new movie club program, which is 8.99 a month. It gives you one free movie ticket per month (they roll over) 20% off concession purchases and no charge for purchasing tickets online. For popular movies, tickets sell out quickly. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance. I didn't get advanced tickets for End Game and had to wait over a week for seats that weren't in the front row. read more

This theater is nice and staff is always super friendly. I would like to see the owner repair the chairs that need it. Where there is one torn seat there will be more. I love that u can preorder snacks as it's super convenient. Although, I find the popcorn is not as fresh and super salty. When I buy popcorn from the concession stand it's always fresh and tasty. The theater does not appear to be practicing good cleaning. I really like this theater and want to support local businesses: however, the theater needs to provide a clean sitting area that is maintained. read more

The theater itself is fine, it's clean, the seating comfortable, but when I went yesterday neither box office was in use and tickets had to be purchased via ONE electronic kiosk in the lobby. It was REALLY SLOW and took quite awhile to purchase a ticket... push a button and wait. Of course there wasn't any manager around to complain to - or to open the box office. If you're going to force your customers into the same position that every business is doing and make us do the work then at the VERY LEAST have two or three kiosks and spend the money on GOOD internet service. read more

Checked earlier in the day for the times a specific movie was playing to see in the evening, made sure it was the correct theatre and day, etc.. no problems until we got to the theatre to purchase the tickets, they had removed all the evening showtimes. Royally pissed off, date night ruined. I didn't think i would have to purchase tickets in advance for a movie that's been out for weeks now, but apparently this theatre removes showtimes if no one buys any tickets for that showing. I've never heard of theatre's doing that before but i don't know what else could be the reason. The last time we tried to see a movie we pre-ordered, but something came up and we tried to refund the tickets which is allowed if its done before the showtime, but we kept getting an "error - please try again later" on the refund page and was never able to get our money back. read more

They have nice reclining seats at this location, I'm unsure if every theater at this location has them but I assume so. The food options are lacking here, they have hot dogs and similar but that's about it. I didn't see any condiments available. I wanted an icee coke but they were out. This is a pretty nice theater. There is plenty of parking and it's in a nice location. The seats are also pretty comfortable and usually it's very clean. The concessions are average. Nothing stellar. Food is simple items like hot dogs or prepackaged nachos. Popcorn is also ok. Not great but not terrible either. However if feel most concessions are over priced these days for what you get with the exception of places like Alamo Drafthouse or Movie Eatery. That's not really a huge deal as I'm not going there to eat anyway. It's close by and easy to get in and out of. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants. Chuy's and Bone Daddy's (yuck), and BJ's Brewhouse are all right there too. read more

Well, what do you really say about a movie theater? You come to see movies and that's always a good thing. The floor wasn't sticky? Not too much popcorn strewn about? The AC worked? What does one say? I go there because it's close to where I live and it is clean and mostly I'm taking my four year old to see movies she'd like. I'm not one for movie food, so I rarely stop there and I don't play video games so I don't stop there, but to let my daughter pretend to drive cars or sit on the motorcycle game. I try to go for matinee prices because those are getting rediculous. But hey, it's a good place to go and I will keep going there. read more

Been to this theater many times. It's not my favorite simply because I am a huge fan of being able to order food and drinks while I enjoy a movie. There is nothing wrong with the theater, though. Usual snacks, clean restrooms, good service, and one good thing is one of my favorite places to eat and drink is in the parking lot. Get something to eat at BJ's Brewhouse in the parking lot and buy your movie tickets through them for a discounted price. Sign up for Cinemark emails and they'll send you a coupon every week. Beth Marie's ice cream is also in the complex for after movie discussions. Tip: bring a sweater or airplane blanket, it's cold! read more

I never have any problems here. The theater is always clean and well kept. The seats are pretty comfy and in good shape. Movies usually start on time and audio is good. Cheaper prices on Tuesday night and you can buy a popcorn bucket to fill up for only $3.50 for the entire year. Good theater. We go there a lot. read more

Great place to catch a movie. Extremely clean, which is usually my hang-up with movie theaters. Chairs, especially the loungers, are super comfortable. You literally feel like you are hanging out in your living room watching a show. My only problem, and hence the three stars, was being charged for a 20 oz beer and only getting 16 oz. I even tried to point out that it wasn't 20 oz and was told otherwise. I just went in my way rather than causing a scene. Well, I brought the cup home and measured- 2 cups equates to 16 oz. I've been coming to this theater since I was a kid. It was really good with delicious popcorn but recently it's gone downhill. The popcorn is too salty, the chairs need upgrading, and the staff needs training. They will have 6 people behind the counter and only one line going. My mom waited over 20mins for a hotdog and the staff was very rude to her. I personally like Cinemark but not this location. The Waco Cinemark has upgraded seats, perfect popcorn, and it's huge! I wish I could have a Cinemark like that in Denton but unfortunately I just get rude people and salt with popcorn on the side. I don't think I'll be going back. I might go to Movie Eatery where I can get some decent service and food that won't give me high blood pressure. read more

Despite the ease of access to new movies in recent years with the internet, streaming, etc, I still love going to movie theatres. Especially this Cinemark, which I've been to several times over the years and have never been disappointed. It's in a nice location with a massive parking lot that's surrounded by several restaurants. It's always clean inside, and there's always that distinct smell of fresh, buttery popcorn that wafts through the air. This is a pretty large theater with 14 screens, two of which I believe are much bigger than the rest with many more seating options. I love being able to just buy the tickets and select our seats through their app, and then going right on in to our seats with our free refillable tub of popcorn. Everyone who works here who we've encountered has always been friendly and helpful. Some of the theaters here could use better soundproofing, but it's not a big issue. This location also serves alcohol. I think just beer and wine, but I'm not entirely sure. Either way, I highly recommend this Cinemark for a great night out at the movies! read more

We went to see wonder women opening weekend. I enjoyed the reclining seats. The concession service was good. I didn't have the popcorn but the rest of my group enjoyed it. We bought the tickets earlier on the app, which was a good thing since it sold out. The only problem I had was that the bathrooms were a mess, however I don't know when the teenagers would of had a chance to keep them clean, as busy as they were. read more

No issues with the movie going experience, for the most part. The DIY ticket kiosks are often offline for the busiest movie days - and for popular movies, which is a pain in the rear. Staff is generally apathetic, and a bit slow at concessions. But it's rare someone is rude. So all in all, it's good place to take the family for the occasional movie. read more

Short and quick review about a sweet movie theatre. Very nice theatre, plenty of parking, and have reasonable MOVIE THEATRE prices on snacks. The theatre itself seem to all be pretty good sized. They have some of the best chairs, in a movie theatre, that I have sat in. There is plenty of leg room and they even recline a little bit. I absolutely love the prices they have for the first showing of each particular movie. $5.50 a ticket is a price you can't beat! It's right down the street from my apartment and I know the wife and I will be coming back here again. They also have a sweet deal for 2014 where you can buy a bucket of popcorn and soda and refill it everytime for a significant discount. Makes it a lot more reasonable and affordable to see more movies than we usually have in the past. read more

I had a bad experience last Friday at Cinemark. Not because of them, but because a mother thought it was appropriate to bring her 3 yr old (I'm guessing) to an 8pm movie. She was a 3 yr old and the mother was hateful. She was loud and mean to her daughter. I told Cinemark about it and suggested a "no kids after dark admitted to a PG13 and over movie" policy. The general manager, Charles Patterson, wrote me back today. He apologized for my bad experience and offered me free tickets. Now, that's great customer service! He also said he'd forward my suggestion on. It's not his fault people bring their kids, but he tried to make up for their mistakes.
