FLIX is great! Movie tickets and concessions still cost approximately one mortgage payment and a small blood sacrifice, but honestly? Worth it. Their pricing is competitive with all other surrounding theaters. Service is usually great, the food is surprisingly solid for a theater, and the theaters themselves are generally clean. The restrooms, however, always seem like they just survived the final battle scene of an action movie. This is still our go-to place. I love the rewards app, although I do feel like I should earn free popcorn slightly faster considering how much I've personally contributed to their economy. Best part: the throwback movie runs from the 70s-90s. There's something magical about watching your kids experience older movies on the big screen while enjoying a locally brewed beer. read more

Honestly, where else can you grab dinner in the diner, order drinks from a full bar, and watch a movie without ever leaving your seat and get full service there as well? The concept alone had me intrigued. It's a fun idea and would make a great spot for a date night or an evening out with friends. My family and I came to see The Odyssey, settled into our reserved seats, and hit the service button. Unfortunately, that's where things started to go downhill. When we checked in, we were told that new signup members receive a free popcorn. My husband and I both signed up, so our plan was simple: order three popcorns, split the check, use our two free popcorns, and pay for the third. Easy enough... or so we thought. We arrived during the previews, but by the time our popcorn finally arrived, we were already about 15 minutes into the movie. At that point, I honestly could've walked to the concession stand and been back much faster. To make matters worse, the popcorn wasn't the warm, buttery movie theater popcorn you look forward to--it was cold. My son ordered jalapeños with his popcorn but was brought pickles instead... and then charged for them. The popcorn is advertised as bottomless, but getting the refill was somehow even slower than the first order. One person in our group never received theirs until we pressed the service button again. Thankfully, a different server noticed the delay, apologized, and brought it out quickly after realizing it had been sitting in the queue for quite some time. The billing wasn't correct either. We were initially charged for two popcorns, charged for the pickles we never ordered, and only one of our free popcorn rewards was applied. Now, I don't usually complain because I know restaurants and theaters get busy, but when there's an automatic 18% service charge, I do expect timely service and accurate orders. The bright spot of our visit was Connor, the manager. Once he was made aware of everything, he listened without being defensive, and immediately made it right. He honored both free popcorn memberships and even comped the third popcorn that I had every intention of paying for. He absolutely didn't have to do that, and I genuinely appreciated both his professionalism and kindness. He turned what could have been a much more frustrating experience into one where we at least left feeling heard. Would I come back? Maybe... but probably for dinner rather than the full dine-in movie experience. The concept has so much potential, but the in-theater service needs significant improvement. If they can tighten up the timing and communication between the kitchen and servers, I think this place could be something special. For now, I'd give high marks to Connor for exceptional customer service--but the overall movie dining experience still has quite a bit of room to grow. read more

Wow! The ticket price for a 12:45 pm showing was $15.81. That's high enough for what is usually a matinee time. But it was the food that was ridiculous! I bought myself a burger with fries, a soda, and some cookies. Then I was forced to pay a higher, mandatory tip than I wanted to tip. The lunch cost 42.92 for one person. UNBELIEVABLE!! For that much I expected to have generous portions. I expected maybe leftovers. The burger was on the smaller end of a typical burger and I barely had enough fries to last through the meal. Theater was very clean, great for adults that want to go see a movie without kids. I wish the theater was a little darker, the table side lights made it seem a bit too bright and we all had to cover them up. The sound and video quality was ok, there are better setups out there but this was acceptable for this type of theater. I also wish their beer selection was a little more craft oriented and had more local varieties. 18% Gratuity is built in to the check automatically so keep that in mind when you get your bill. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, there are comfortable reclining seats with a table and call button for ordering. We had a small issue with not receiving our popcorn at first but it was quickly resolved. The popcorn was bottomless and came in a metal bowl which i found nice. They also brought us several smaller bowls for our group to share. This is a great theater with great staff, a couple process improvements and they could be top notch! read more

Flix is nice if you want to watch a movie, eat bar food, and drink alcoholic beverages. The best time to go is on Wednesdays for $5.55 movies. You can purchase tickets online with a service fee added or stop by days prior to the showing and purchase tickets with no fees added. Note that there is an automatic 18% service fee added to your food tab. I have tried the pizza, burgers, wraps, and salads and they are all decent. Again, bar food so standards aren't high. It's best to sit at the bar if you have time before or after the movie as the bartender is super cool and very friendly. read more

Seats are spacious, can be reclined and you order food right from your seat. My kid loves their chicken pasta and milkshake. I have no idea who that is, I got her name from my receipt. According to the law, you have to let the customer, ME, know that I am going to be charged 18%. We absolutely loved this theatre! We were in theatre 8 and the recliner seats were comfy. We ordered from our phone and got bone in lemon pepper wings, spinach dip, popcorn & drinks. The wings were so good especially for a movie place, crispy and flavorful, we loved them. The spinach dip was served with toasty naan and delicious as well. The popcorn was huge and buttery. Nice theater, I enjoy coming here it is very clean but a small theater compared to most. One thing I would like for them to consider is kids and solo movie goers, they only offer one size popcorn which is refillable but if you come by yourself you won't even skim the surface so it's a waste. They don't have a kids pack like any other theater I've gone to over the years but offer a kids drink and food for kids but no kids popcorn which is weird to me so I opt out of popcorn when I come by myself so if it's a take it or leave it mentality I'm leaving it every time. While there I saw they had a variety of foods & drinks, they have the simple movie theater snacks like popcorn and drinks, but also have more filling foods like fries, burgers, nachos, and many more. When going there they also had a game of corn hole, which I found to be a good idea to waste time if your early to your movie and want something to do in the meantime. First let's start with our first visit back in April 2018. I can't say how happy we were for it to finally open. What an amazing experience. We were once card holders at AMC and visited Cinamark. Retired and lots of time on our hands our usual day was gym then a lunch and movie. Flix is just down the street from our gym. What a savings on time and a trip to lunch. Now we go to gym and to Flix. Usually always catch the early shows. (Special Prices on Wednesday) What a delight to have our day spent in such a warm and inviting environment. Great selection of food and service. Then the pandemic came along and we all held our breath during the 2 year shutdown. We were so eager when it reopened and we're able to go back to our usual routine. We have watched them grow and are so very pleased with the management and staff. When ever we're there it feels like home. I want to say that it start at the Bar with Kasey. She sets the mood for the rest of our experience. Always up beat warm and friendly. Once we had a bad day with our food orders not being correct and by the time they got it right our movie was interrupted and I was miffed. I told my hubby we were done and would not be back. On the way out Kasey saw us and asked as she usually does how did we like the movie. When we related what had happened she apologized and said she was sorry it happened. They were really short staffed that day many had called in sick. She was so concerned and took the time to talk to us about it. I now start each movie day at the bar, but only when Kasey is there. She is what makes Flix Brew House feel like home. I never drank beer before now I ask what's new and exciting. She has changed that for me as well. The old brew master started making beers for my taste. Goose or Moose can't remember which was his name. So happy to see that tradition carried on. I never wrote a Yelp review for Flix before today. My New Years Resolution is to be thankful for the good things in life, however great or small. Flix Brewhouse is apart of our lives now and we wish them great success in this New Year! So if your planning on going and I hope you will give them a try. Go 45 minutes to an hour early. Stop by the bar and ask for Kasey. We had a great time for date night at Flix! Purchasing tickets online was simple. Our hostess was nice, but after taking our order we didn't see her again until the end of the movie. The seats were comfortable and the theater was pretty clean. I would suggest to maybe clean the seats a little better since they were slightly greasy and we used our own sanitizer to go over them again. Other than that, the food was good, fresh and hot. I really really like the fact that this theater is by our home. Now with that being said we only go a handful of times when tickets are priced low. The theater is not well kept. Walking to the bathrooms and walking by open food items, drinks, beers waiting in the hallway for the servers to pickup and serve is not sanitary (walked in and out the bathroom same food still waiting out in hallway). The seats are falling apart and not comfortable to sit in because your trying to see where you won't get scratched by the torn seats. The volume was super low and the experience overall today was a huge miss. Thank goodness tickets were $4 but even then adding that hefty online service fee all and all wasn't worth the trip. read more

So I have been to IPic and Studio Grill and I would say this dine in theater is my favorite . I really had a great server very patience and thorough. I also like that they have a no talking policy after a certain period with pen and paper to communicate . Definitely is considerate of other movie watchers . The theater was nice and clean , it was cool to see the brewery and I enjoyed the smaller local feel that this theater had , it felt more personal and cozy . The Bahama Drink was good, pretty sweet but you can taste the liquor . I loved the popcorn it was the right amount of butter and salt . We also had a burger and Buffalo chicken wrap which were both pretty good ! But the crowd winner was the Fries ! Great place to see a film and relax. This is an outstanding movie house. The staff is always professional, quick and correct. I have been here a few times, finally writing about it. Great drink selection and they brew their own specialities on site. The food is outstanding. I always get a pretzel, big, soft and fluffy, it is served with a side of tangy mustard and a white cheese sauce. The seats are very soft, cushy leather and recline all the way and there is ample space on each side.... no fighting for the arm rest. I was so excited when I saw the Flix Brewhouse was doing an 80s showing of my ALL TIME FAVORITE movie Pretty in Pink. I liked this theater because it's small, more compact and doesn't have all the frills and extraness that other theaters do (I'm talking about how huge theaters are now just to watch a movie). The theater also has its own brewery, offers in movie dining, and variety of movies. When i came for the 80s movie, i loved how so many people dressed up, they had decorated the area where you enter to sit, and were offering free champagne and glasses in neon colors. I feel like this isn't the first time where they've had things to offer for a throwback movie. My major complaint here is how slow the service was. for us to have someone take order and then for us to receive our order took about an hour. We saw people going to the other rows and were curious as to why ours got missed. Another complaint I have is that I def feel like the foods expensive for the quantity that you receive. Will I be back? OFCOURSE. A convenient theater with a brewery less then 5 minutes from my house!?! I have to be back and i will definitely be attending more of the throwback movie events. read more
