There are only about 80 seats, so a subscriptions is a good idea, so you get reserved seating in the center section. She discovered her love of musical theatre and found a channel for her passion to be on a stage. The staff at ACT are so committed, and the parent and childrens' community there is unmatched by any other community I have ever been a part of. The quality of the productions are amazing, as well! ACT has an Academy for skills development across voice, dance and acting. I have heard nothing but great things from people that have participated in those classes. ACT sticks to its core mission of inclusiveness and letting every kid rise to their own potential regardless of background, abilities, etc. The kids grow like crazy there in the most important ways - becoming better humans. It is a place of real teamwork, and I can't say enough good about them.

To be honest I had low expectations going in but I was blown away. The bravery of these children to perform and sing in front of people was really inspiring. Every single child was awesome, but I have to say the children playing Rafiki and Zazu were particularly great. My 6 year old daughter really enjoyed watching. We will definitely be back!!

The seats are fantastic, and they give you so much aisle space so when someone is scooting out, no one has to stand and let them by. The chairs were very comfortable also and there was plenty of parking. The Black Box is located inside the Discovery Center so easy access off of The Dallas Tollway. We do wish there were single serving bags of pretzels, chips, cookies or something to purchase during intermission. They were kind enough to have small bottles of water For Free.

After waiting in line at the check-in and going through a metal detector we were directed to a waiting room where a friendly employee explained that there was a mysterious story that you could try to figure out or you could just explore. Then they led us into the room to start exploring at our own pace. It was a really cool experience and full of creatively fun art. It was definitely an out of this world experience. After spending a few hours exploring we briefly visited the souvenir shop. We didn't get anything but they do have a variety of things to purchase. Overall The Real Unreal Meow Wolf is worth a visit if you like hands on experiences with a mysterious story that you can try to figure out while enjoying the creative art work.

Its one of the few theaters that I will dress up for and has an open lobby area with a cash bar that is a fun and somewhat upscale space for conversation before the show which works nicely for your group to gather, converse, and socialize before the show. Addison restaurants are nearby but busy on weekends so do plan an early dinner between 5 and 6 as those restaurants are typically very busy on weekends. A plus is the "Stone Cottage" theatre in the rear which hosts a different theatre company and is which is rustic with often ribald works. There is also a large snd configurable separate meeting space which can be had for special functions or seminars. If you are into Architecture and you ever get the chance for a complete tour of the Water Tower theatre seize the opportunity because it is a very cool building with 2 levels below grade for costume and storage with three above that are absolutely amazing in how they are completely flexible for multi tier stage configurations and configurable seating tiers from several directions.

I have always enjoyed the excellent acting and set production. Always very high quality for a small community theater. But the last 2 plays that I have attended where not family friendly. The use of language through out and very offensive has now soured me on this theater and probably the whole community theater experience. I would not bring my child (when she is old enough) or my parents and I would not invite my friends because I would be nervous of what might be said. To me this is not a family friendly venue, which is the very reason I have enjoyed it so in the past. Please, Coppell Theatre, consider your audience.
