I had a very disappointing experience at Cinemark. I went to watch Obsession with my group, which included two adults who are both 24 years old. The manager refused to let us in because some members of our group were underage, even though we had adults present. I've been to other theaters where anyone under 17 is allowed to enter an R-rated movie when accompanied by someone 21 or older, so the situation was confusing. What made the experience worse was the manager's attitude. She was dismissive and rude when speaking to us. To make matters even more concerning, I personally saw a group of white teenagers enter without having their IDs checked, while our group--which consisted of four Latinos and one Black person--was scrutinized and turned away. And I will be honest 2 people were under 17 but it still does not change the fact that the lady was being racist. I can't say for certain what motivated the different treatment, but from what I witnessed, it felt unfair and inconsistent. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and have theater policies applied equally to everyone. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at this Cinemark. I won't give the theater less stars because I been here multiple times and the staff has been nice so the whole establishment does not deserve to take onto what the lady did. read more

Came here solo to take in the horror flick Hokum, but also to make my 1st appearance here in well over a few years. The change is real, and so is the construction. This location used to be called The Bridge, and way, way before that was an IMAX. Since this review is concerning the theatre itself, once inside I recognized the bottom portion of the old theatre, with the old top portion now seemingly gone. The CSA of this experience was Zarriah-pictured. She was a kind hearted lady who took my ticket, and directed me toward my particular theater house, but not before spending a good 10-12 minutes explaining the on going construction and planned new looks for this location. Parking isn't free even with validation, I usually come late at night so parking isn't hard to find. The theater itself is nothing special. They have coca cola products and self serve soda machine(free refills). Entrance is upstairs with the kiosk for buying tickets and theater rooms are downstairs, they have escalators and stairs, two concession areas, one right as soon as you go downstairs and then one in the back towards the XD theater room. Personally not my first choice but my go to because it's the closest to my job. read more

The manager Emily Clark was very racist, aggressive & condescending.She was also hostile and raising her voice from the very beginning.There is no reason for the whole theater to hear our conversation. This was my first time at this location and I will definitely not be back. Please look into who you hire as management. I don't think this person should be in the customer service industry . It is outrageous that she felt so comfortable with being disrespectful and racist. She also contradicts herself and her policies. I am extremely disappointed with this experience. We came in on 1-2-26 to watch Anaconda for a 8pm showing. This is one of my favorite theatres to watch a movie, always clean with great prices. The movie was good, had a great time laughing and enjoying ourselves. The picture and sound are always great here along with the prices for the popcorn and soda. read more

What a disappointment! I am a Sr. & bought tickets for a matinee this morning. I go to this theater all the time with my ESA dog which stays in her little carry on bag. Today the woman at the register did not allow us in. Was asking me all type of questions, such as what kind of service does my dog do, which is against the law to even ask. To top it off,I bought the tickets thru Fandango and they will not refund or give me an exchange due to the fact that by the time I got home the movie had already started. I will never go to this theater or order from Fandango again. As expensive as things are these days, it's hard enough for Srs to catch a break & this was the worse I've ever had to deal with! Movies are one of my favorite pastimes. The Cinemark 18&XD is a great place to enjoy a movie. The Cinemark Theater is located within Howard Hughes Center. The HH Center has a parking lot, a theater and lots of other businesses. There is tons of parking available. Just make sure to get parking permit validated before you leave theater. Validating permits will reduces parking fees. The theater has self-help kiosks inside the building. The theater is clean and well maintained. The customer service is spot on. read more

This isn't the usual theater I go to, but this experience was specifically to watch Godzilla: Minus One with the DBOX feature. It's a newer theater or at least updated so the seating is comfortable. People seemed friendly and parking was relatively easy to find for a Saturday night. The popcorn here was delicious as expected. I've only watched two movies ever including this one with the DBOX theater. I would say that it's the perfect movie for this feature. So cool to feel like you were on the boats and planes in the movie. Also, the rumbling was well used and timed for this film. Biggest gripe here - and not necessarily the fault of the theater per se - but there was a group of teenagers talking really loudly towards the back. And though it's not necessarily the theaters fault, the group left mid movie...so it's hard to believe the group would pay the cost of the tickets and just leave in the middle of it? So maybe more security to let the people who actually pay enjoy the experience? The group also threw an object at the screen while leaving and I heard an audible gasp from other people in the audience. Just stinks that a few adversely affect the enjoyment of the many...but such is life. read more

Other than the screen being larger, the picture was just meh and the sound actually was not loud or clear; it was just like a regular theater. So don't pay up charge for xd at this location. My boyfriend and I visited this location last weekend to see Sinners. The concessions area was pretty unorganized. I was told a pizza would take about 7 minutes but I ended up waiting 15 minutes before I find out that they don't actually have a system for orders. I asked where my food was and I heard someone making pizzas say they didn't have a sense of who was supposed to get a pizza first because the orders were just being given to them. They could have written names on a box or something but instead they were just throwing in pizzas and handing them out to whomever. The supervisor ended up offering to bring my pizza to me in my seat. He scribbled my theater number and seat number. I got it about 15 minutes after that so I waited probably 30 minutes for this pizza. The crust was burnt :( like black burnt... get a hotdog or eat before lol I suggest they rethink their process for taking and keeping track of orders. Ask for a name, write it on a box, keep them in order. Pretty simple. Other than that the theater was just really crowded. We prefer the one in playa but tickets were sold out so we ended up at this one. I think we will wait a while before returning. Giving 3 stars because the rest of the experience was ok. read more

This used to be my favorite theater. We went on December 13 in the early evening and I can tell you that the restaurant is now closed. The theater that we were in we were in the temperature was almost 80° and very uncomfortable. For as much money as I paid to attend this theater, it is not worth it anymore. I went to Cinamark at Howard Hughes because I wanted to experience 4D for the first time. I saw A Quiet Place, the 4D experience was not what I expected. The seats are individual and they barely move, when there's a thump the back of the seat would bump. I was so confused because all of the video 4D clips I saw of other theaters the seats were moving and there was water and smoke. Bummer that I picked the wrong theater for this experience. I will return for a general admission but not for 4D. read more

It's been a long time since I've been to the movies (like most of us nowadays right?). I used to come to this place back in the day when it was called "The Bridge" and to be honest, it was more "poppin" back then. There used to be a lot more shops on both the bottom and top level. Stefano's has been replaced with Dave and busters and another shop. There isn't even anything on the bottom level where Barnes and noble used to be. But they do have a BWW (buffalo wild wings) at the bottom. It's also good to see that they kept the Islands that's always been there. As far as Cinemark goes the layout is still the same. From purchasing tix to entering to taking the elevator downstairs to walking the long hallway to get to your auditorium. We went to see two movies in one day, haven't done that in so long. We caught the bad boys matinee and inside out 2 in the evening. Both great movies. What I also loved was the seats. They're leather now and pretty comfortable. Hard not to fall asleep. read more

Cinemark only validates part of your parking fee, which I thought was a little crazy. Protip: Don't validate as you go in; validate on the way out. When we validated on the way in, the ticket had an error and wouldn't count when we tried to pay when leaving the parking structure, so we had to walk all the way back to the theater to try again. It was $16/ticket to watch the movie, so $32 for the two of us. And another $2.80 if you remember to validate your parking. $2.80 might not seem like a lot, but all the other theaters in the area basically have free parking. Lastly, the seats are not very comfortable. For the price, just go to an AMC with reclining seats. Don't bother coming here. read more

We like to go to this theatre. However, I'm greatly disappointed in their communications. I lost my eyeglasses there on 7/21/25 and have called their telephone number numerous times, morning and evening, for two days to see if the help found it. There is no answer on their phone which rings and rings. What's the point of listing a phone number if no one answers. Very disappointed. read more

Not a big fan of this venue mostly because the advertisements and then movie trailers are 30 minutes long and super loud ... However, what I do love is $6.75 price of the weekday matinee ... saw A Haunting in Venice and we were only people in the theatre. It was wonderful and brilliantly directed. The cinematography was sublime and Tina Fey was marvelous! Bravo to Mr Branagh on his acting and directing . However, for me there is only one Hercule Poirot and that is David Suchet. I definitely will return to see the Taylor Swift film and new Scorsese film too! I love movies! And THE STRIKE IS OVER!!! So, back to work soon fingers crossed! read more

I really like this theater! The seats are super comfy and it's never overly crowded! Biggest plus is that they serve food and have a bar with nicely priced drinks! P.S. Don't forget to bring your parking ticket with you because they validate and that saves you a nice coin! read more

Read a few reviews of the child policy and I can totally agree that it would be frustrating. I came for Oppenheimer and the whole experience was fine. Parking is easy in the structure. Annoying cuz you have to pay even with validation and the amount of a very bizarre amount that's is not a round number. Weird. But the theater itself was a bit small and the seats were a bit run down but for a movie it's fine. The sound system was nuts. I had read how loud it could be and the reviews were right... For the price, it's totally worth it, especially on Tuesday so maybe suck it up and just check it out. read more

Terrible theater service. There was a long line at the snack bar with only one person working the register. The manager popped in for a moment, offered no help whatsoever. And walked away! The line was 5 guests deep. To add insult to injury, there was an elderly couple with the gentleman in a wheelchair. They didn't have any box's or other containers to help carry their drinks and snacks; they spent good amount of money on many items, the least they could do is provide a way to carry them into their seats. I ended up helping them. The Playa Vista location is much better. read more

It's been years since Hubbers and I came through around this area (we used to live on the other side of the 405) so I was a bit elated when a buncha friends wanted to meet and catch a flick up in here. Nothing fancy about this place. It somehow gave off an old-school vibe. Seating was comfortable and roomy. Popcorn tasted better than most. But I feel they need an upgrade. I see reviews of people saying people hop from one theater to another since there are no assigned seating, so that's something they might want to work on. I bought tickets online and had to use a kiosk to print them. (What was the point of the bar code, then?! It's an extra step which is completely unnecessary.
