Ok Ive avoided this theater because of the location and parking structure. I dislike having to pay for parking. The theater does validate I think it's for 3.5 hours but not 100% sure. I like to arrive early to get snacks & use the restroom. I validated before I left & scanned at the garage & I did not have to pay. What a relief. The theater concession stand line was long compared to other locations Ive been to. Instead of a cafeteria type assembly line this location uses separate cashiers. They do not have the famous kettle corn here but the popcorn was still enjoyable. Bathroom and theater was clean and theater seemed to be well staffed. read more

Finally came to see 'Project Hail Mary' here, and was pleasantly surprised at how nice our neighborhood theater continues to be. We found parking on the street, though the large parking garage supports validation from the theater. Like many theaters, tickets were discounted for Tuesday and our friend picked up the tab for the four of us. All the seats were reclining loungers, with newly installed gliding tables to allow easy snacking (popcorn ($8.19 for Large), Dip'n'dots ice cream, drink, and chocolates were all bought, treated by my mother-in-law). Sound and visuals were excellent, seats and temperature were really comfortable, and the 2+ hours flew by. It was a nice ending to a good day, seeing a really great movie with family and friends. read more

As a huge movie buff, this theater is right up my alley. I like it here! I was dropped off, so I can't speak much about the parking experience. I can say I saw both street parking and a public parking lot about a block or two away. I decided to catch a matinee for about $11 and took the escalator to the second level of The Pike Outlets. When you first walk in, there are two kiosks set up for you to choose your movie and seat. No human contact until you see the guy who scans your ticket. From there you will see the concession stand. The line was a little long but moved at a decent pace. I got my pretzel bites and headed to my movie. All the seats around me were taken when I selected a seat, but my row stayed empty the whole time. Nice!!! The chair was comfortable. Everything was clean as well, including the restroom. I had a really good time. I plan to be a regular here. read more

My husband and I went to the Cinemark at the Pike Outlet Theater in Long Beach to see "The End of Oak Street". Which is about a family who bands together to navigate their new surroundings after a cosmic event transports their suburban neighborhood to someplace unknown. To my husbands surprise I purchased the Dbox Seats and upon first movement, he was in shock. He didn't realize why he felt movement. After the movie started he got it and enjoyed the experience of feeling like a part of the action. It was a 9:55PM movie through the week so the theater was pretty quiet. The theater was clean and the employees were nice. Our fresh popcorn and drinks were delivered to our seats in a timely fashion. The movie was exciting. Our date night was a success. I recommend this theater. If you go to this area earlier, there is a lot to do as the Pike area has restaurants and retail shopping and Shoreline Village and the Aquarium is right across the street. There is plenty of parking available and the theater does validate parking. read more

Theater experience was great! They had an arcade, comfy reclining seats, a loyalty program, exclusive merch and good popcorn. They even had my wife's phone we lost at the lost and found! Thank you to Ms. Morales. I wish they had more vegan food options! Other than that really enjoyed myself and we are excited about the Cinemark 1 movie a month subscription that we got. Gotta check out that arcade and I do hope they organize some kind of "film critics" club for people who want to discuss movies, kinda like a book club. I been here a handful of times in the past...once during the Long Beach Grand Prix funny enough! It's nice to have one here close to all the restaurants and bars and parking is validated in the parking structure if you watch a movie just like it is if you shop around within the pike. Its a typical Cinemark theater honestly which what I mean by that is that its basically fairly clean and service tends to be good generally and they seem to keep the place looking good vs other places may have a run down feel but not here read more

I paid $25 a ticket for a matinee with my grandson thinking the theatre would be over the top. I was very disappointed, the seats that we paid extra for were all torn up and the vibration was very weak. Extremely dissatisfied. I would not recommend this theatre. read more

SEEN A RAT Had proof of clearly seeing it. Went to let multiple of the staff know what I saw and see if they can do anything or move of us to a different theater. All in all our experience was good. There was a mix up at the time of ticket sales for the showing of TPOT 21 (Don't ask me anything about it. I'm my daughter's plus 1 to these things.) The 2 gentleman that helped ever figure out their seats were amazing. It was a little bit of chaos but they helped it flow perfectly. They also had a quality issue at the very beginning but they addressed it with the audience and fixed it right away. The staff at the theatre were amazing. It made for a great night. read more

we went to watch spiderman in theater number 9, there was NO AC in this theater. they stated they've gotten multiple complaints and haven't been able to fix it. In the middle of a heatwave this is dangerous. No reason to show movies in that theater when it can harm guests and employees. and it smelled disgusting in that theater as well. NO attention to CLEANLINESS in this theater. Bathrooms are awful! NO matter what time of day. Yes they get busy but with full staffing and managers standing around talking with each other definitely shows that it's 'just a job and a paycheck' for them. Have gone to this location a couple of times and the location has diminished in service, in how clean it is. The seats have not been cleaned, popcorn still on some of the seat, on the floor and stains in the seats as well as on the tables. Regarding food, there has not been many pizzas ready for the costumer to just take and enjoy. Even after waiting for 20 min in line and getting to the register and asking how long for the pizzas to be ready. The respond from the guy in the counter was. It will be 15 min. The guy serving in the counter could not be bothered, it shows that costumer service has not been a priority or even suggested to the employees. First, the concession stand experience was incredibly frustrating. On a Sunday afternoon, one of the busiest times for a movie theater, there was only one employee actually helping customers while a handful of other employees stood behind the counter seemingly occupied with other tasks. Meanwhile, the line continued to grow longer and longer. The employee serving customers moved at an extremely slow pace and showed little sense of urgency despite the obvious backup. It felt as though customer service was the last thing on anyone's mind. To make matters worse, when purchasing concessions, I asked for an extra box to help carry items--something many major theater chains readily provide. Instead, I was offered a bag. I'm not sure what they expected me to do with a flimsy bag full of popcorn and snacks while trying to navigate a dark theater. It was an odd and inconvenient solution that reflected the overall lack of attention to the guest experience. The condition of the facility itself was even more disappointing. The entire theater felt outdated and neglected. The carpets throughout the building were stained and dirty, giving the impression that they hadn't been properly cleaned in a very long time. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Dirty floors, poorly maintained fixtures, and an overall lack of cleanliness made them some of the worst theater restrooms I've encountered in recent memory. The auditorium wasn't much better. The entire property felt worn down, tired, and in desperate need of renovation and deep cleaning. Going to the movies should feel like an enjoyable escape, but instead it felt like stepping into a facility that has been ignored for years. There are far too many theater options in Southern California to spend money at a location that appears so poorly maintained and understaffed. Management needs to take a serious look at staffing levels, customer service standards, and the overall cleanliness of this theater. We had trouble purchasing tickets online and accidentally got tickets for the wrong day. We were refunded and able to use a credit. We were confused on how to use the credit, I asked for a manager after attempting to use the voucher/credit at the ticket counter. The manager Cesar was so amazing! I am writing to report an extremely unpleasant and concerning experience I had yesterday at the Cinemark located at The Pike. I visited the theater to redeem a valid student discount through Student Beans. The cashier informed me that the discount would not be accepted, despite it being advertised and valid. While this was already frustrating, the situation escalated in an unexpected and disturbing way. During the interaction, the cashier suddenly stomped forcefully on the floor. When I asked if he had killed a cockroach, he confirmed that he had and indicated that it had been smeared on the floor in the customer service area. This occurred in front of customers and was not addressed or cleaned immediately. This behavior was highly unprofessional and raised serious sanitation and health concerns. A food and beverage establishment should never handle pest issues in this manner, especially in front of guests. I am disappointed by both the refusal to honor the student discount and the unsanitary conditions and conduct I witnessed. I believe this incident warrants review, and I would appreciate follow-up regarding how this will be addressed. read more

I have been coming to this theater since I was a kid; I was ready to give this place a horrible review but ultimately was met with great service which ultimately changed this review. I went to go see Wicked pt 2 on 11/20. I had bought my ticket through the app and bought concessions to be delivered to my seat. I arrived 20 minutes before the trailers started to be there on time for my concessions. By the time the movie started I believed my food and drinks were running a bit behind. By the time the movie ended I realized my items were never delivered. I headed to the guest counter and asked if my items were delivered. The girl working the counter informed me that my items were there waiting for me; I had to show her that I ordered to be delivered to my seat; she asked me if I wanted to take them. It was around 11pm and it was raining I didn't want the items, I just wanted a refund. She informed me that she would ask her manager if I could get a refund. A person who I assume is the manager came out and asked me if there was a note on my seat since I most likely wasn't there for the items to be delivered. I informed him that I was 20 minutes early before the trailers started so there was no way I missed the window. He apologized and continued to process my refund. On top of that, he asked me if I wanted my items remade and I could take them home. I assured him that I didn't want them now since the movie was over and it was raining outside. He went further and asked me if I wanted my movie ticket refunded; which I wasn't expecting. I told him it's not what I wanted but if he wanted to I would take it. He proceeded to refund my ticket as well. Was not expecting him to do that but he went that extra mile for me. I was content leaving the movie theater and will definitely come back; maybe not order to be delivered to my seat but definitely coming back. This movie theater is getting an unusual four-star review. To start with their closed captioning equipment worked flawlessly 2 times in a row. The seats are comfortable, recliners. The staff is reasonably friendly. The theaters are reasonably clean, as are the bathrooms. Snacks are way overpriced as usual, but nothing surprising. Theater isn't a convenient downtown location. The crowd is respectable. All in all a good movie going experience. read more

I am actually a monthly member and have been for a a couple of years but recently I've noticed changes that are not pleasant you guys use to have lazy boy recliner that were very comfortable to my husband now you guys have smaller seats that are NOT comfortable to my husband and second of all we went recently went to go watch the Mario movie and was looking For sugar free candy and unfortunately there was none I was so upset and couldn't believe it that my husband wants a sweet treat but he had to watch the movie with nothing to snack on due to you guys not having not one single option I asked a member and they said whatever we have out there is what we have you guys should really consider adding sugar free candy at least. read more

TLDR: Cinemark has validated parking; nice, friendly, and helpful staff; but the theatre experience is quite unenjoyable from the falsely advertised "no smoking" and questionable cleaning in-between movie screenings. - - - - - - I visited Cinemark with a friend to watch Tarot, and the movie was enjoyable outside of a few features: the audience member that smoked and the dirty seats. I had recently lost an item at this theatre, but the staff were friendly and even helped find the item. A few notes is that they advertise the "no talking, no smoking," but they really don't enforce it. At times during the movie, members of the audience were vaping, and the smell was quite unbearable. Regarding the lost item, I returned to dig through the chairs in hopes that it'd be there. Every time I come to this theatre there is always simultaneously at the same time: 1. Teenagers screaming in the theatre through out the entire movie and being disrespectful. 2. A drunk guy who falls asleep and starts snoring and their woman doesn't wake them up. 3. Multiple people who decide to play music / stay on their phones with the volume all the way up through out the movie. It doesn't matter what time I go at, whether it's matinee, early evening or late night. It's always the same situation. The staff here won't do anything about the rude and disrespectful people who come to the theatre. There is no punishment or removal of these individuals. The only reason I come here is because it's an extremely walkable distance from my house, but it's come to the point where I would rather drive across Long Beach to go to AMC for hopefully a better experience than ever come here again. read more

Was just in the XD theatre for Mickey 17. I knew where my seat was , however NO indications of what row you were in and if you needed help, no one! Nice clean electric reclining seats. Fresh popcorn a butter topping machine was down but not that big of a deal they had another alongside of that one. Manger and staff were friendly and helpful directing everyone thru the different auditoriums. Temperature lighting and sound were all great while we enjoyed our movie. The Pike is a somewhat outdoor mini-mall. What can one say about a theatre that just is? You see one you see most of them. This theater is cookie-cutter like the rest of them. The concession stand sells the same items, the restrooms are the same, the price is the same, and the seats are newer and comfortable. Overall the theatre is clean and not crowded. Worth a seat for your favorite movie. Get here early as the parking structure is not nearby. read more

Had a few hours to kill after a conference before I had to catch my red eye out of LAX. Decided to catch a movie. Nothing exceptional about this theater. Snacks were overpriced but the popcorn was tasty. My hometown theater give free popcorn and coke refills, this theater doesn't, not that I needed them. Recliner chairs were comfy. The only downside side was the fact that I was sitting on the aisle and I swear I saw a mouse scurry by. He must think the popcorn is tasty too. read more
