The theater room is rather small and it has handicap accessible spaces. It has everything and anything a movie theater could need and will definitely consider coming back. This spot is also perfect for a date (yes a cheap date lol) because you all can go to dinner at the triangle right after. There are a few restaurants right outside of the theater. His hands cannot grip small things and need a wider grip than a S cup provides. I asked for a L cup so he can feed himself popcorn from the box. NONE of the employees are trained in ADA compliance especially and most egregiously the managers, specifically Luis and James. Even upon being shown the ADA information including the fact you cannot legally charge for a cup of the appropriate size necessary for him to feed himself, they both remained steadfast that there is no such law. I was charged the full price of $7.50 for the empty cup. The mgr Luis arrogantly said he called corporate and they confirmed there is no such law. For any business to be so uneducated on the law is inexcusable. It should've been such a small and easy accommodation to make without issue, but instead they chose to dig in. If ever a business deserves to be canceled this valid reasoning.

It is a good venue and there is not a bad seat in the house. It is a tad bit overpriced, but compared to a movie, it is not bad. They have a lot of shows and they seem to have a good following. It is all art deco and just stunning. It is kept spotless. The place does need work and it will get it, but in the mean time it is the best place to see a musical, play or concert. There is not a bad seat in the house and the sound is perfect. There are many family musicals here and all at a great price. It is located in Old Downtown San Pedro and the whole area has been freshened up and is fun. Parking is on the street or the lot nearby. The staff is so wonderful. They are so kind and you can tell they love this old theater. Go there.

This era saw many changes with the advent of talkies and the Great Recession from when it was planned until actually built, the Warner Theatre passed through several owners until the City of Los Angeles bought it in the 1990's. It was allocated a State Landmark status protection.

Pro tip- if you just want concessions snacks (candy), try ordering at the bar rather than waiting in the main concession lines, sometimes the bartenders there can get you what you need. The seats and theater floors are clean, which is huge when you really just want to relax and enjoy a movie. I've never had a problem with lighting, sound or the projectors. Harkins is definitely our go-to theater.
