Excellent seating. No movie glitches. Lots of food choices. Big screens. The seats are super comfy. The seat separator lifts completely for maximum comfort when snuggling with your boo. The concession is set up sort of self service style and you pay at the end like you would in a high school lunchroom. The temperature was comfy even though it was freezing outside. If your running a little late, don't worry, there are plenty of previews to get through. I live a bunch of previews because it allows me to view a bit of the next movie that I'll make sure to see when it comes out.

The only reason I gave 4 stars was two things: women's bathroom was COMPLETELY out of hand soap at about 7 o'clock in the evening. I understand these places may be understaffed, the good thing was as soon as I said something it seems like they went in and remedied the situation. BUT, and when I say but, it's a BIG BUT, once the lobby started to fill with people, IT GOT HOT. SO, SO HOT. Everybody was sweating and complaining. I heard one woman say she wasn't sure how much more she could take. It was bad, really really bad. Other than that, I'd definitely be willing to come back for a show at this theater! ....especially in the winter.

We attended a concert of several bluegrass bands headlined by Rumpke Mountain Boys on New Year's Eve 2019. On this particular night, the crowd was the perfect size. Great vibe down on the floor in front of the stage, but enough room to move around on the second tier for those that prefer a little more elbow room. The bar service was prompt, prices seem fair and the variety of beer selections is decent for a venue that isn't open every night (though no beers on tap, which is understandable for an event venue I suppose). The building is in pretty good shape, and really shows off the classic architecture well. It seemed to me like the stage area has been enhanced recently, though I couldn't be sure. This is a great neighborhood venue for live music and events. Check it out!

A staple of Cincinnati since 1982, Drake Planetarium puts on weekly galaxy shows and laser shows on the weekend. Tucked away inside the fourth floor of Norwood High School, this large room can accommodate up to 70 visitors per show and is great for science nerds young and old. Galaxy shows take place on Sunday afternoons, but the biggest draw, the laser shows, are offered every Friday and Saturday night. Three, hour-long shows are offered, each of a different theme. - Laser Beatles, Laser Retro, and Laser Vinyl - Holiday Skies, Laser Metallica, and Laser Zeppelin - Laser Pink Floyd "Dark Side" and "The Wall" These combinations rotate frequently, so be sure to check the schedule for your show. Or make an evening of it and watch all three shows back-to-back. http://www.drakeplanetarium.org/Family/spec_events.html Expect more from the laser shows than zig-zagging lights. Animated images are projected onto the dome that move along with the lyrics in the music. Pretty cool! If you're looking for a night out with space and laser geekery, blast off with Drake Planetarium! Cost per person: $10.00

Someday I'd love to go to the museum in Vegas and compare. I really wanted to take neon classes here, but didn't get the chance to - neon classes are generally super rare from what I can tell. If you have interest at all, you should take classes!! The love, care and knowledge put into this museum is really obvious. I just wish it was larger and had even more signs :) Loved the "city" concept as a display. I'll think of the sign museum fondly when I remember Cincinnati!

The employee let us know they closed in an hour, but we should still have enough time (an hour was the perfect amount of time for us to read and look at all the signs). It's priced reasonably enough that I would pay to go back and see it again if I wanted. Tons of signage (haha) to read about the signs. A couple of them had QR codes you could scan to read more about. The history of the sign industry was really cool to learn about, and seeing them lit up and in action was even better. I loved the way the museum was styled and designed, making it look like you're walking down a bustling street complete with storefronts, street lamps, and even a couple fire hydrants. If you're a fan of vintage artifacts and big flashing signs, then this is the place to visit!

The owner has a TERRIBLE attitude!…read more I sent an email with a couple of photos of a Monier painting. This was the first response: "I believe this is a print, that it has little value...we don't do framing and i think it would be a waste to appraise this... don treadway" BTW, in my tired stupor, I just looked back and realized I did say I'd like to get framed when I meant to say we have a framed photo (narcolepsy makes you do silly things.) Anyway, I responded back that it was an actual oil painting, that you could feel the texture. To which Don responded, "It's a textured print, they are common...lots of people mistake these for paintings..." So I explained that my in-laws got it in the 1980s in Chicago (it's a Monier Old Chicago painting) and most likely real - like how would you know if you won't even look at it?" Then I get back this gem which in part says, "actually its very unlikely that its an original painting...it is very likely that its what i said it was...i find it odd that you contact me for information which i give you free of charge and all of a sudden you know more than i do...i've been selling art for over 40 years, have sold thousands of paintings and i've seen more than my share of these...if you have a magnifying glass you can look at the surface and find a dot pattern which is typical of these textured prints..." Riiight - a fake print was professionally framed, clearly canvas, with markings on back from previous auction house. Had he been a professional and set up an appointment to view it, he would have seen all of this instead of being so rude. I only even reached out because he had a 5 star rating on Google. But that was out of 2 reviews. And as I was typing this review. I got another rude email that in part says, " good customer service is the truth, without charge...bad customer service is to tell you something other than the truth...attitude is directly related to your ignorance and thought process that you know more than i do..." If you want a rude, arrogant appraiser, this is the place for you.

The item sold for $500, so I assumed I was the winning bidder. I did not hear from the gallery, the telephone was on voicemail and there was no response to my two emails. So today I called again and got through to someone named David. David told me that I was not the winning bidder even though the item was sold for $500 - my bid of $550, which was confirmed by Treadway, was apparently not taken into account at all. David then went on to say I would not have won the item anyway because there was another bid that would go up to $600. He conveniently ignored the fact that I did not have the opportunity to raise my bid (by getting an outbid notice). I have won small lots from Treadway in the past, but I am not a huge customer and maybe that was the problem? But all customers need and deserve to have faith in the auction process and the auction house's integrity. That includes the seller who in this case lost money as well. No explanation was given by Treadway other than "l'll check with the IT guys" - we've all heard that one! And, of course, no apology was extended to me - until I asked for one. Arrogant staff, very questionable standards. Wouldn't deal with them again or recommend them.
