Reclining seats are amazing! Love the old Hollywood Vibe of the movie posters in the lobby. Staff was super nice and helpful.

This is a complex with multiple theaters and when I saw the blankets for sale in the lobby I laughed. Like anything at a theme park, it was twice the price of a retail store for a similar item. I prefer the Cinemark location at International and Oakridge for two reasons. This theater requires you to go through Universal security to access the complex at Universal CityWalk. So not only do you have to park in one of the 'spoke and wheel' designed garages, you have to queue up and depending on how busy Universal is that day you may have a significant delay walking to the theater. If it is before 6 pm they may require you to pay a daily parking fee. The Universal Citywalk Cinemark has embraced a new movie theater trend where they have one bathroom near the entrance. I prefer the one on International Drive because they have several bathrooms on different corridors. This one you may have to walk a significant distance and up and down stairs to use the facilities. If this is during the movie then you miss more of the show. Don't wait too long! Like most Cinemark theaters I found the auditorium clean and the seat numbers were easy to identify. The sound and projection system was top notch.

Clean and not packed when I went. Downside is you have to pay for parking if you come before 6:00pm. But they will refund it once at the box office.

Still? STILL no restroom on the first floor?! The nostalgia is thick and the seats are COMFY.

I love this movie theater! Tonight I came to see Deadpool and Wolverine in the XD and it was amazing! I love that the screen is bigger and the sound system is crazy! The chairs are recliners and have a little table. I got a slurpee and on the bottom floor you can just walk up and get more slurpee which I did but towards the end my husband went to the front and asked for a refill and you can't get a refill?, but you could just go downstairs to get one? Not sure what's going on there but they need to fix that situation.

They need to replace these chairs.

We've been trying some movies on Tuesdays when they offer standard tickets for only $5 a person. If you use their app you get points for purchases on tickets and concessions. My husband cannot watch a movie at the theater without popcorn and extra butter.

I absolutely love this movie theater. Some days it can be really busy as well as some nights. However this afternoon I have nothing better to do and it's kind of chilly out so I decided to go see a movie. I noticed that the before it gets busy matinee movie tickets are only $10.95. So I decided to go see a movie that I've been wanting to see which is night swim. Not only is this theater always clean, the staff are also very nice and it's really warm inside. I was seated in theater seven and yes I was the only one in the whole movie theater it was pretty awesome it made it be movie experience extra eerie. If you haven't been here before I definitely recommend it it is located right after you get through security right on the right hand side across from Bubba Gump. 10 at a time I definitely recommend this movie theater.

I came here to watch Saw X in auditorium 1. Important: If your movie showing & parking is before 6pm, you get the parking validation $30 cash or card. During Halloween horror nights parking is not free but it usually is after 6pm. Concessions: Pricing is pretty decent for the portions & with movie rewards (Cinemark's loyalty program) they are 25% off. Large popcorn is good enough for 2-3 people. Medium 2 people & small 1 person. The x-large refillable is good for big parties. Medium size drink is good for 2 people. Movie experience: All theaters have reclining seats (luxury loungers) even standard showing. The seats are comfortable; I think next time I will bring antibacterial wipes & clean them myself before sitting. Theater was clean enough. Despite that it's not in a premium format (dbox, imax, etc), it still was a pleasant experience. Sound was decent & image quality was good. Next time I'm sitting closer so I feel like I'm in imax lol The theater has 2 floors and is huge. No arcade. Bar on first floor & concessions on each floor. If you're watching a standard format movie, I'd definitely go with Cinemark over AMC just for their luxury loungers (reclining seats). Each theater company has their perks but this was something that greatly enhanced my movie experience.

Saw Taylor Swift's Eras Tour here the first Friday in November. It was a matinee showing, which meant that the $30 Universal parking fee was refunded to me (in cash) at the ticket office. I had purchased our seats ahead of time online. The entire Cinemark was pretty calm and not busy, we were able to quickly get concessions (Coca Cola Freestyle machines) before heading to our theater. The seats were recliners which were clean and comfy. Overall it was a great movie experience.

Staff was friendly & timely. Movie ticket prices are average, a bit more. It was worth it. Clean spacious, cushioned recliner seats. The refreshments & snacks were reasonable. They have a full bar. My son loves that he can put his own butter on his popcorn. The pretzel bites were good. The bathroom was clean. Our only complaint was that it was freezing. It was hard to get comfortable during the movie. Otherwise, we enjoyed our experience.

I could not tell you the last time I was here at this theater but at the last minute we decided to see Ant Man. The entire park had hardly any visitors and we ended up with being 2 of the 3 in the entire showing. The seats were super comfortable and loved that I could recline. We sat on the 2nd row from the back. The only downfall is that it is a very long way to the bathroom as there are none by the theaters. The place was immaculately cleaned. We brought in our refillable universal cup -full and we got no kick back. However, you cannot get refills from it from their free style machines. We did not eat or drink while there today. We were happy that we got a matinee price for 10.25 each. If you want to pre buy your tickets you need to download the app to make a purchase but we walked in and used the kiosk to buy tickets with no issue.

It was an exceedingly hot day and I had some time to kill at CityWalk, so I figured I'd catch a movie in a nice, air-conditioned theater. The place was completely empty when I got there, and I was impressed by how well-maintained the whole place was. I stepped into my auditorium and I was pretty surprised by the deluxe seating. These are the kinds of seats we pay big money for here in Canada. The movie I selected, Consecration, was terrible, but at least I was comfortable. However, I do have to say that the volume was way, way too low. I had to struggle to make out the dialogue in some of the quieter scenes. It was an unfortunate occurrence within an otherwise stellar experience.

Miles did a great job running the concessions by himself. He should've had help but he kept the place running smoothly.

One worker muttered "she's about to piss me off" while trying to help me. At ticket check they didn't verify the date or ID for an R rated film, and they didn't even scan my ticket. The woman at the ticket check also asked me "do you need help? You look confused." with a smirk on her face. The whole staff needs a customer service retraining. The seating was uncomfortable with hard headrests and the seat in front blocked the screen. Food was overpriced at $16.30 for three tacos & chips and NO salsa. I had to go out of my way to ask the person who delivered my food for a cup of water since that option wasn't on the website, and they said they weren't allowed. They refused to give a free cup and charged nearly $6 for bottled water and $7 for soda. I really don't appreciate that the owner doesn't offer a water cup option. Things are already expensive as is and a lot of us are struggling, and we're not trying to help boost their profits with those insane beverage charges. In the bathroom the fragrance was so strong it gave me a headache and the bathroom was tiny, you literally have to squish your whole body in just to let someone pass behind you to get into the restroom. Overall it feels poorly run compared to other theaters like Cinemark. I do not recommend it.

The Fashion Square mall is, unfortunately, permanently closed now as well. Joy K's review hit the nail right on the head by recommending that a movie producer use this abandoned mall as a film set for a dark/horror/backrooms movie while it is still standing. The comfortingly eerie atmosphere of this theater gave its customers a secret place to escape to when they wanted to watch a movie. Its hidden entrance almost made the movie theater feel like a speakeasy. I feel like only locals knew about this movie theater, and based on my conversations with them, they attended movie screenings regularly. I am so sad that I can no longer go to this movie theater when I need to escape from the world, and even sadder that I only found out about this place in December of 2025! It was very well hidden, after all. Please enjoy some pictures that I took of the movie theater on one of my last visits, and if you're reading, feel free to share any pictures or memories that you have of the Fashion Square mall or Premiere 14 theaters.

Yes, we all know that Fashion Square Mall is a dead mall that's literally operating on a skeleton crew and held together by duct tape. BUT the movie theater here is honestly the best part about it. Everything about it feels like it's been frozen in time and coming here feels like a blast to the past. From the fun neon signs and bright colors to the checkered ceiling -- this is the 90s! Given how everything is trending, I'm surprised this place isn't more popular. Plus, prices here are very reasonable compared to other movie theater spots around town. The popcorn and soda here can sometimes cost more than the actual movie tickets (crazy enough). The chairs here don't lean back or recline, but they're really plushy and feel comfortable. And the whole place is remarkably well maintained and pretty clean. In a world where people complain that more places are losing their character, this Premiere theater literally has all the character. You do have to park on the third floor of the parking garage and walk through some pretty liminal hallways, but it was kinda fun tbh. Service is very friendly and efficient. You buy tickets at the popcorn counter. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!

When booking the Pancakes & Play package, I ran into unexpected challenges trying to arrange seating for the accompanying parents. What I thought would be a simple request required several conversations before a solution was found. As a parent of a 5-year-old, being able to sit close enough to supervise the children is important, so I was disappointed that this wasn't easier to accommodate initially. I shared my concerns with Main Event's President, Tony Wehner, who personally responded and committed to working with his team to find a solution. Todd Gurney, the General Manager, then reached out to better understand what I was hoping for and made sure everything was in place before the party. When we arrived, the seating was exactly as discussed. Two tables were reserved near Party Street, allowing the parents to comfortably supervise the kids while still enjoying the celebration. It made all the difference. I also want to give a huge thank you to Adrienna and Zarianna. They were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, organized, attentive, and genuinely excited to help make the party special. They stayed on top of every detail, and because of them, we were able to relax and enjoy celebrating with our daughter. What impressed me most was not that everything was perfect from the beginning, but that Main Event listened to customer feedback and followed through. It's refreshing to see leadership and the local team work together to make things right. Thank you to Tony, Todd, Adrienna, Zarianna, and the entire team for making our daughter's birthday such a wonderful memory. We wouldn't hesitate to celebrate another birthday at Main Event!
