So let me tell you a little story about a man called Magic Mike, some of your ladies out there might know exactly who I'm talking about. This weekend was the first time at this theater, mostly because it's in a mall, and usually filled with young kids. So yea, I was at this Theater with my daughter Saturday night and again Sunday morning with my girlfriend. Just so I can SEE and WATCH "Magic Mike Last Dance" the end of the story we all have been waiting patiently for. Rated R Saturday night , movie started at 7:10pm and manager (male) stated theater isn't open yet at 7pm ( I go to the movies at other theaters and we get in around 20 minutes prior to see all previews and advertisements. Manager was not very pleasant and all the garbages were filled to the rim. When we were finally able to go in, it was 7:10m time for the movie time, 7:30 comes around and still black screen. Someone complained and it went right into the movie 10 minutes later. And like I said, movie Saturday night had teenyboppers, and all they did was talk and on there cellphones the whole movie, and one set of girls were eating Burger King, so all you heard was there bags crinkling ) plus it was rated R, not one person in there was of age. Sunday morning , was so much better , we were let in 20 minutes prior, got to see previews, female manger let us in, and theater was full of mid age funny ladies screaming are we ready for this. Lol There theater seats were squeaking, bathroom on Friday was unbearable, dirt all around bee the floors, no toilet paper in stales ,walked out and drove home to go to the ladies room. read more

The workers are always friendly and helpful. The theaters are clean and the pop corn is always fresh!

They could care less about you enjoying your movie with a nice concession stand. They charge full price and haven't fixed the butter machine or should I say fake butter machine in over a year. When you ask for them to put the faux butter in half way and then more on top they flat out refuse. I've been coming to the theatre at the Stroud Mall my whole life. It improved so much when they renovated it. However, now, the staff are all super young kids, and the place is DISGUSTING. Every inch of the place is littered with trash and popcorn. The bathrooms were foul. Tonight was the worst I've seen it, and I think after 30 + years of hitting the Stroud Mall for a movie, I'll be heading to Montage. My friend and I went to see "Barbie" today at the Cinemark Stroud Mall in Stroudsburg, PA. The carpeting was dirty and smelled like feet. The floors were sticky in the theater that we were in. The one sink in the ladies room to the far right wasn't working. The place is overall dirty and needs a good cleaning. You shouldn't smell stinky feet when you walk down the hall to go to the movies and the floor in the theater should not be sticky for a 3:00 p.m. show. Barbie the movie is not a movie to take your kids to see. It is rated "R", is very risque and leaves you with the feeling that women aren't worth a crap in the "Real World." I'm sure a lot of girls want to go see it because it's "Barbie," but in actuality the movie is for adults only. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO SEE THIS MOVIE. GO SEE THE LITTLE MERMAID INSTEAD. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I tripped and spilled my popcorn, the staff laughed. The manager Robert came out asked me where I was from and when I told him Florida he laughed in my face and told me that he hoped everyone from Florida wasn't as clumsy as I was. I was humiliated. They now have reserved seating. It's great. It's not just for the XD theater but all of them. You can go online and pick your seats so you don't have to get there 30 minutes early and sit around. The staff is pleasant. They have pretzels and cheese now. Run by young kids who don't know/don't care. We bought tix in advance online and yet they sent people to stand in line at the box office to have the tix printed. Why did we pay a "convenience fee"? There were dozens of people in the same situation and people were furious. The kids that work there don't know anything and are too young to solve any issues. Several people talked to the manager and he basically shrugs his shoulder. A poorly run theatre that has the usual insane concessions prices and incompetent management. #Avoid! read more

Been here once and was excited to choose our seats in advance. Nice small size theater with comfortable seats. They were rocking, semi-reclining seats. The staff was great! Friendly and supervisory at entrance and the seating. The concession stand is well stocked and offers a snack pack with popcorn, drink and gummies. Great location inside of the mall so you can do some shopping and then catch a movie or vice versa... The only negative was the restrooms. They need to be looked after more often. The stalls were dirty, no paper in many of the stalls. The air dryer was out of service and the paper towel holder was empty too! read more

Can't say that this theater's XD matches the IMAX experience but I have say it is very comfortable and easy to get to and quality of both sound and images are wonderful. And most importantly it is very conveniently located which is a big plus. One thing that is a problem that the 3D variants of the movies are only available for very short time. read more

Clean theater, reasonable prices and nice folks. The seats in the large theater were very uncomfortable. They rock. You can't sit back without it rocking back and if you're short it lifts your legs off the ground. It dug into the back of my legs. I HATE those seats. read more

I've been taking my 2 yr old grandson to the movies all summer long and today I was told that I had to pay $7.50 for a ticket for him. The staff have always been friendly. The cons of this place is that the customers coming in leave a lot of trash, so things are always sticky and are on their phones too much during the movies. Really wish there was staff to just kick them out since me asking them to put away their phone makes them act out more in spite. Zero tolerance on that would make people wise up pretty quickly. AMAZING Cinemark! The seats are BIG and comfortable, unlike Casino's TINY uncomfortable seats that poke your elbows. There are dozens of theaters, the sound and picture is AMAZING and the staff is friendly. The tickets are CHEAPER than Casino Theater for a normal show. A normal show is only 6 dollars, at Casino it's now 8 dollars. You get to go down this long awesome hallway to get to your movie, it is extremely family friendly and awesome! I can't believe anyone even has a bad review for this place. It's tons of fun to spend a day out plus there is security and before the movie starts, they have clever ways on the screen to tell people to stay off their cell phones, by showing a little cartoon about why it's a problem. This theater is clean and the staff very friendly.my biggest complaint about going here is the temperature inside the theaters. In the middle of winter it's always freezing. Even after complaints to the manager (from several people) nothing changed. Be prepared and dress warm or take the extra drive and go to a different theater if you want to be comfortable. read more

Came to see 20th anniversary screening of princess mononoke and ended up in a theater the size of my living room. Really pathetic. The theater was packed as hell. Arrived 30 minutes before show time and still had to sit apart from the rest of my party and stare straight up to see the screen. Won't likely return. read more

This is an excellent clean theater. The employees are very helpful and pleasant, ticket prices are decent, and the concessions aren't unreasonable. This theater offers stadium style leather seating that is clean and comfortable. They show older movies at least once a week at reduced fares, as well as special events. The theater is fully 3d capable, and they offer HDX in one theater - a larger screen with a sharper image and better surround sound, similar to Imax. Although they don't offer a rewards card, Cinemark does have an app that rewards you with concession specials for silencing your phone and running the app during the film. read more

I'm scared of this theater. Not just because of what happened 4 years ago: https://bit.ly/2KRshqX but because of what happened last Friday 11/22. We were in the 12:30PM showing of 21 Bridges and this guy was constantly on his cellphone. Some lady kept saying excuse me to him, but he ignored her. Then she stood up and said excuse me and he jumped up like he was going to hit her. She called the theater security but they guy refused to leave. Then his girlfriend called her a racist. Then the theater manager came and they all went outside the movies to talk but we could still here everything. He called her a white b**ch. Then the lady's boyfriend came out and told the guy to stop lying, he was on the phone the whole time. The manager lady was nice but she should have kicked out the guy on the cell phone.
