Stopped by a few times but note on the door had different hours of operation than their yelp page. No problem third time was a charm. The line was long but tolerable. I ordered an original cinnamon roll to share with my husband. We also wanted a pretzel but the wait was too long. Haven't had Cinnabon in ages and that is mostly due to not wanting to deal with a mall, so imagine our delight to see this standalone store. We were promptly greeted and served by friendly staff. Bought a 4 pack of classic rolls, grabbed some napkins, and off to the car. It has been so long, we couldn't wait to dive in. Not wanting to ruin lunch we split one. It was good but lacked the gooey goodness at the core. Off to lunch. (See my EG Round Table review). No decent lunch should go without dessert so we revisited the blue box in the back seat. Thank the 90°+ heat for warming our rolls because the magic happened. The goo that was lacking earlier in the unheated rolls was dripping down our chins. Damn delicious! read more

Stopped by today because of the sign that says "soft opening December 28-January 8th 7am-7pm. I arrived at 10 am and when I tried to open the door it was locked and the workers laughed at my attempt. DISGUSTING. Went here for the first time with my family. We looked on Yelp, and it says they open at 7am. We got there at 8:50am and the doors were locked. 2 other lady's waiting as well. We saw a male worker spreading icing on the cinnamon rolls with no gloves through the window, and before the manager came to open the door to tell, they would not open until 12noon because short on supplies. That same male employee was licking his fingers. We told the manager what he was doing. As we were leaving, we could see the employee washing his hands laughing. Talk about disgusting. My son and I stopped by this morning to try the newest location near our home. I'm very happy to have a Cinnabon and Auntie Anne's nearby because I hated driving all the way to the mall on Arden every time I craved for a cinnamon roll or pretzel dog. The place was very nice and clean. I was greeted right when we walked in and everyone seems friendly. We ordered a frozen drink, a classic cinnamon roll and cinnamon bites total about $18. Wish there was more seating for customers because my son and I took the last available seat and customers after us had to take their food to-go as the seats were taken up by all the employees and management apparently on their break. Anyhow we will return again. Hopefully the female cashier will start us a stamp card or something of that sort so we can collect benefits from our purchases. I bought four classic Cinnabon yesterday and heated one 30 secs in the microwave and ate one. The taste was a bit off so I only ate half and threw the rest away. Soon after that, I wasn't feeling well and been going to the bathroom every two-three hours. Feeling nauseous and wanting to vomit. I still have three left and it is a waste of money. Based on the Yelp reviews, I came here at 9:10am on a Saturday expecting the worst. To my pleasant surprise, there was not a line. They were also fully stocked with tons of packaged Cinnabons. The staff member that helped me was very friendly and helpful. So happy that we have a Cinnabon in EG now. It was so good. FYI, download the Auntie Anne's app to earn rewards for all purchases. I went to this location yesterday Saturday February 26th and I get to the door and it said online and mobile orders only since their system was down. I was like okay cool that's not too bad. I made sure to confirm with an employee to make sure that's okay to do and they did confirm. So I place my online order and the email said to come back and pick up at 6:30pm. I get there at 6:35 and their doors are locked. I see the manager and the employees laugh at me and I pointed to my phone letting them know I had an online order to pick up. The manager rolled her eyes and sent an employee to "deal" with me. I explained what I was there for and the employee told me "that their system was down and they had to close early." And I said well, why did an employee say it's was okay to place an online order and to come back at my pick up time. The employee that was at the door literally told me "I'm sorry I'm not sure what you're talking about but we've been closed for almost an hour now and I'm not sure where you got that information, and plus we cant see our online orders and even though you have an email and confirmation number we still can't give you your order." And also the employee stated they threw out all their products already and that was definitely a lie. I saw all the employees rolling out dough and packing boxes with Cinnabons inside. The employee said to either come back the next day or call to get a refund. Then Sunday morning February 26th I thought I'd call to make sure their systems were up and running before I made the drive out there. I called multiple times and no one answered. So I took a chance a drove to that location and walked in and let the person at the register know what I was there for. They seemed confused about what I was talking about and literally said "the systems were down?" "Let me go talk to someone in the back to make sure" I see the employee walk to the back and talk to someone and they all looked at me like I was crazy. And the employee came back and asked what I was there for again, I guess to make sure he heard correctly. The employee seemed irritated, and a whole different person. he asked what I had ordered and then wrote everything down. I asked "do you need to see my confirmation email or a phone number to look at my order and confirm?" The employee said "no I'll just tell someone to get your order ready." I am not sure if it's because this location is still new or what but being as this was my first visit, it wasn't a very good experience. I really hope the employees shape up and get more training. If I can give this place zero stars, I would because I have waited over 3 hours to get my order and I never received it. I called Uber eats and they said Cinnabon would consider it late after 5 hours passed.I tried to get a refund but I couldn't because only 3 hours and 45 minutes passed. Deliciousness! First time we made it to the new Cinnabon here in Elk Grove. It was really busy as are all restaurants that first open here. I thought the staff handle it great. They were all working so hard and busted through the line in such an efficient amount of time. The man checking out people at the register was so gracious, so kind , and had such a good attitude, even though it must have been so overwhelming to have such a long line.
