3 stars for the taste and friendly staff. Even warmed it up for me. Have been eating these for decades, this is the smallest one I've ever seen. Didn't even go as high as half the box! Coffee was weak but large cup. This location is also half auntie Anne's pretzels. Easy parking, no wait and clean table space to sit and eat.

Loved the smell of Cinnabon as we walked into the store. They had a BOGO on classic cinnamon rolls. Alina helped us today. Great service. Cinnabons tasted heavenly.

This cinnamon roll was a complete disaster. Barley edible. Let's start off with a false advertisement saying it's cheesecake it is not. It has nothing to do with cheesecake. Second of all. It was dry. It was dry like a desert.

    Inside

I've never seen one outside of a mall. It's a combined Cinnabon + Auntie Anne's located directly next to Dutch Bros. Great service

Looks like shrinkflation has struck Cinnabon! This was $7.50 for this tiny little roll. WTF happened to Cinnabon? They got greedy because these have shrunk! I used to be stuffed after eating one. It was even big enough to share. Not this poor excuse for a cinnamon roll. Bye, bye Cinnabon. Your greed will be your downfall as customers like me won't return.

This is the first time visiting this location in Elk Grove. When it first opened, I heard bad things about it. I figured I would wait and give them time, before I tried them out. When I walked in, there wasn't many people in the store. Just one couple that was paying at the register. We waited in line, no one promptly offered to help us. The other person just continued to do what he was doing. We waited in line for about 5-10 minutes, the person not at the register decided to help us. We gave our order, paid and left. The Cinnabon was warm and tasted good. I think we shouldn't have been waiting that long. There wasn't anyone waiting in line. The service should be quick, in and out.

Got my Starbucks this morning and what could I pick up... Elk Grove residents are so fortunate to have all these new food options- one thing I miss.. It's great to see they were open early! Drove up and no one in the store. Prices are $$$.. but hey, it's a Cinnabon.. Bought the big and mini rolls .. They were a tad warm when I got back to the house. If the aroma of the rolls were like the mall, I would probably given another star... No matter, you can always reheat and enjoy!

I saw that Cinnabon had opened in our neighborhood so came by to check it out. When I arrived it wasn't too busy yet. Only a few people in line but it got packed while I was waiting in line. Crazy. I tried the Churro Swirl. It was warm but a bit hard. I think they made it in advance way to early. It would of been more tasty if it was fresher. I got the Minibon but they didn't even warm it up. I didn't ask since the line was so long behind me. I didn't see a warmer up front either so I am not sure they even have one. It was disappointing. However the girl who severed was very nice and so polite. Service was great. She even apologized for the wait.

Walked into an amazing aroma of cinnamon rolls and the friendliest staff greeting! Staff were so welcoming and patient as I couldn't decide which cinnamon roll I wanted. Have to say, a warm fresh cinnamon roll on a cold December day hit the spot! Definitely recommend coming here for a nice little snack after a day of shopping.

I drove here the other day only to see a sign that they would reopen today, so of course we came back! I showed up 10 minutes early and there was already a line forming. Once they opened up the doors though, the line moved pretty quickly. We were done ordering and paying within 10 minutes but they only had one classic cinnabon left so we had to wait another 10 minutes for the next batch to get my second one. Luckily they gave us everything else while we waited so my son and I could snack on the pretzel bites. The guy and girl at the cashiers this morning were very nice and they apologized to each person about the wait. They had great customer service skills. Everyone working on the food was not so friendly and seemed stressed out, but since they're still in the front of the counters they should still be friendly. There was one lady who appeared to be in charge and managing which items were left but she did not crack a smile or an apology. It seems like they're still a bit disorganized because I saw the group of people ahead of me and they were all waiting on food and given their Cinnabons in different orders, so people who ordered first were getting upset. Hopefully they'll work this out as the store is open longer. As for the taste, really can't go wrong with a classic pretzel (Auntie Anne's is in the same location) and the Cinnabons. The Cinnabons were really light on frosting though so I wish they were more chewy and gooey. Other than that I'm just glad I don't have to drive to the mall anymore for a cinnabon.

Drove all the way out here and they had the door locked and it was only 6:50pm. There were customers inside but they wouldn't let anyone else in. Five other people tried as well. This is very disappointing. They are loosing customers. Update: somebody just let us in. I'll change from 2 to 3 stars for now.

let's not talk about the 5 forks

Nothing beats the experience of visiting a cinnabon after you stopped by a few stores in a mall. Unfortunately, this location doesn't give that warm feeling. It's a hit or miss, one day you'll come across a gooey and warm cinnabon...other days you'll come across a dry one that tastes like it's been sitting out for awhile. Service is efficient, it gets pretty busy since they're nearby a school/neighborhood so people stop by for a sweet treat on the way home. Especially since this is also an Auntie Anne's apparently. Workers are younger, so I'll try to cut them slack since there's always someone new behind the counter every time I come in. The lower stars are towards the lack of consistency. Maybe it's due to the location? How long they're been open? Just go to Arden.

I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.
