Bit into the Mango Sticky Rice donut and immediately let out a "whoa!" My favorite donut from here so far! I liked the Cookie Butter Matcha because the matcha flavor isn't too strong, and she made it so fast!
The doughnuts here are amazing . I don't consume them all the time nor do I eat lots of doughnuts, the when I do I believe Elk Grove donuts is the local gold standard. A lot of specialty doughnuts that they create as trends develop. I know my first experience with Dubai chocolate was with their Dubai doughnut and it was delicious. Local family owned, I would definitely check this spot out if you're looking for uniquely diffrent flavors compared to traditional doughnut offerings. They offer diffrent coffee and drink. Typically paired or similar flavor to their unique doughnuts. Imagine a Dubai coffee or mango stick rice drink.
Finally made it in to try this donut shop after seeing it all over social media, and it definitely lived up to the hype in some ways. We picked up two Dubai Chew Cookies, which I really enjoyed. The mochi exterior gave them a fun texture and they were surprisingly good. We also tried their Mango Sago donuts, and while they were definitely different from your typical donut, they were unique and delicious. To round things out, we got a classic sprinkle donut, a chocolate glazed donut, and they even threw in three donut holes, which was a nice surprise. For drinks, we ordered the Dot Cake Coffee Latte ($9) and the Dot Cake Matcha Latte ($8). The drinks were decent, but both had way too much ice. The matcha latte tasted more like milk than matcha, which was a little disappointing. Altogether, our order came out to around $54, which feels pretty pricey for donuts and drinks. Overall, I'm glad we finally gave this place a try. The specialty donuts were creative and tasty, and you can tell they put effort into making something different. That said, because of the price point, it's probably more of an occasional treat for me rather than a spot I'd visit regularly. Definitely worth checking out at least once if you're curious

Also ordered a couple of the chewy Dubai cookies. The donuts were about $6 each. Hubs noted the way the donuts were decorated were like pieces of art. As for the taste, they were good! My fave was the Ube Coconut. The mango ones were good too; the mango flavor really came through. They both tasted pretty much the same - just that one had sticky rice and the other had sago. The donuts were soft and not too sweet. If you like chocolate, you'll love the Dubai Chocolate donut. The chewy Dubai cookie is like a stuffed mochi - quite sweet. If craving sweets, I'd return again, especially for the ube donut. They also have a drink menu that looked interested that I'd like to return to and try.

They don't label the price or name directly in front of the donuts. EGD makes some really good and creative donuts. The donuts taste fresh and are very airy, not cake like. They don't usually sell out early unless it's an initial release of a new donut. Service is good, the line goes pretty quick and there's usually two people helping if it gets busy. They don't have labels on the donuts so you'll need to ask them how much. The prices are shown on top by the ceiling but you won't know which donut correlates to which price. Overall good donuts with a tad bit higher pricing. I spent about $43 bucks for 6 donuts and a dozen donut holes. My main thing to get here is just the donut holes and regular donuts.
Ive reviewed this shop in the past but i was inspired to write another just for their new creation the mango sticky rice donut! I know it looked good in the pictures but i didnt know it was this good hahaha i think im gonna have to say this is the best fancy elevated donut i ever had! Its stunning to look at with the flecks of gold and fushia on top and sesame seeds scattered as well. The mango cream is light and not too sweet, the donut is fluffy like always but what took it over the top was there was actually sticky rice and a mango puree when you bit in!!! Like what?!? I bow to you on this creation -good job, ang galing! jalhaess-eoyo, bien hecho! Looking foward to your future creations.
Sad they are TEMPORARILY CLOSED from 7/6 - 7/16! There's no other donut shop that we would want to go to in Elk Grove.

I'm fond of the cinnamon rolls, old fashioned glazed cake donuts and the chocolate bars. Friendly women work here (and a brother), quick service, efficient for as busy as they are, seldom wait over 5 minutes even when customers are lined up outside the door. Competitive prices. Take out obit, no sitting inside or outside. This is absolutely the best place to buy donuts in Elk Grove!
A great place to grab amazing donuts and I've been stopping by since they opened. There are so many different kinds of donuts and delicious! This time I tried the matcha green tea. I am more of a matcha girlie so I don't feel there was enough matcha and too much on the cream. Also tried this Dubai mochi chocolate "cookie". It's definitely rich with sweetness and chewy. It's always a great vibe and service when I stop by.

First time here. Parking is shared between a couple of businesses so it was packed. The line was out the door, so you kind of know the donuts must be good. Once inside, line to order was on the left. Line to wait for drinks to be made was on right. Service is fast. There are many options for your standard donuts and fancier donuts as well as drinks. I ordered the mango sticky rice donut, Dubai chewy cookie, and Mango sticky rice matcha. My family liked the Dubai chewy cookie over the donut based on texture and sweetness. Matcha was good. There are huge pieces of mango in the drink. More mango flavor than matcha. Will be back to try other items!

The food there is very rich, the chew Dubai chocolate donut was definitely on the sweeter side for me, but for anyone else that has a sweet tooth this would be perfect. I also got the ceremonial jasmine matcha which is very delightful and would definitely come back again for that. The service was quick and the workers there were really nice and helpful when I asked some questions. The ambiance was very chill and open like how a bakery is and they're very quick on their feet. The friendliest yet trendiest donut shop around Elk Grove. Their people are always happy and fast and have great recommendations. I go for their Mango line of donuts but the cinnamon rolls and apple fritters are still my favorites. The mango sticky rice donut is a sugar bomb of major deliciousness!! Dude so creative and innovative. The mango sago was even more tasty than the previous in my opinion. I loved it so hard! They usually have a line but like I said they are fast and efficient. I came home and had half of each mango donut with a fat glass of ice-cold milk. OMG thats how it's done!!! Beautiful and delicious donuts for a special treat. read more

I usually get the breakfast sandwich and coffee, been coming here for about 5 years now, and love the donuts and pastries, but since I've been avoiding "sugar" I give myself a treat every once in a while! Their donuts are so soft and delicious it was hard to not eat two before we got home!! Staff is always friendly, always clean and neat!!! I wish they had a few small table and chairs!! This EG Donut shop is too close for comfort. My wife wanted to try the Dubai chocolate donut & they had a few left before closing at 3 PM. It was a bit pricy but what isn't nowadays??? I think it was 7 bucks. Anyhoo my wife was very satisfied & it took care of her craving for it. They threw in a few donut holes too. Come here for your donut fix! I'm sure you will be happy. Free parking in front was very convenient & inside was clean. Services was fast & friendly. All good! read more
HUGE fan of banana matcha with biscoff, and I was so excited to try this month's banana biscoff matcha special at ElkGrove Donuts. I was not so much of a fan of the drink. If you like the taste of strong matcha, this would not be the drink to get. The drink was good, but too milky in my opinion. It could've used a bit more matcha in it; the drink mostly tasted like banana biscoff milk. It was also almost $9 before tip. We came later in the afternoon, so there weren't any donuts left, but I hope to make it back to try their banana matcha and biscoff donuts before the month is over! read more
We door dash donuts from here all the time. I loveee their donuts. I also love they are always doing different things for the holidays. On Easter my daughter got an entire DIY donut Easter decorating kit and she loved it. I saw so many influencers posting videos about this place, so I decided to give it a try! It cost about $23 total for 3 items. I don't mind paying if the quality is good, but honestly this wasn't what I expected. Matcha: 2/5 Not the good quality matcha in my opinion, very grassy tasting, i got the double matcha. The cream top also wasn't good at all. Dubai Mochi: 3/5 Interesting flavor and texture, but mine wasn't as stretchy as the ones I saw in TikTok videos. Donut: 3/5 Way too much filling for me, which made it overly sweet. But if you have a sweet tooth, you might enjoy it! read more
I'm not usually a fan of donuts because they're too sweet for me. When I am craving them, I go to Elk Grove donuts. They have a lot of flavors to choose, from the basic to unique ones like this matcha strawberry. Their donuts are very aesthetic looking, and taste good as well. The donut is bouncy and all the flavors go well with each other. I also got to try their strawberry creme matcha and green Thai tea. The matcha was a little disappointing because there was way too much strawberry syrup and it overwhelmed the matcha and extremely sweet. Trendy donut shop with unique flavors! Elk Grove Donuts was all over my TikTok fyp so decided to check it out on a Friday around 9am. Lots of interesting donuts and had a tough time deciding! The current limited edition flavor is matcha (Strawberry Matcha and Matcha Tiramisu donuts). Asked an employee the difference between the Strawberry Dubai Chocolate and the regular Dubai Chocolate donut and they said the Strawberry Dubai Chocolate has slightly more filling inside compared to the regular one. I ended up ordering the Strawberry Dubai Chocolate donut and the Cinnamon Biscoff donut. The Cinnamon Biscoff donut is essentially a cinnamon roll with a Biscoff on top and the Strawberry Dubai Chocolate donut is filled with the pistachio kadayif mixture with a chocolate coating and strawberry on the outside. My personal favorite was the Cinnamon Biscoff but both were delicious! The donuts were soft and fluffy, also more than satisfied my sweet craving for the day. Although the Dubai Chocolate donut was a little expensive (~$8), it was unique and tasty so I would say it's worth trying. I'll be coming back to Elk Grove donuts! read more

I've been coming here since they first opened and they have the best pastries ! I love that they always have the newest and trendy desserts. I came to get the dubai chewy cookies and they are so good fresh. I would recommend warming them up for the chewy texture if you don't plan to eat them right away. It's a family business and the workers are always super friendly and sweet. The inside is pretty spacious and always clean. They have the cutest valentines themed donuts. I love that they decorate their donuts with so much detail. read more
Best Donuts ever! You have to try for yourself. I did see them blowup on social media but this is one that is ACTUALLY worth checking out. Donuts are just fluffy, light and airy. And is probably the best donut that I've ever had. I'm not even kidding. Place gets really busy because everyone else knows that it's delicious. I am not a huge donut person, but once in a while, I'll be craving a good old glazed donut. Donuts here are fluffy just like those pink box donuts! The glazed donut is fluffy and custard like with a hint of vanilla sweetness. There are also a plenty of options to choose from. As for the matcha series, I heard good things about the banana matcha latte and the ube matcha latte. We decided to try the ube matcha latte, and sadly, was disappointed by the ratio. In my picture, you can see the ube was 3/4 of the cup and the matcha was 1/4. The ube was very overpowering so I didn't taste any matcha. Unfortunately, will not be coming back for the matcha, but the donuts for sure will be back! read more

Wow. I'm so impressed by everything! The interior is so clean, very simplistic, and modern. No indoor seating, just orders to-go. The workers work so efficiently. One quickly takes orders, pack donuts, and rings up the order. While another makes the drinks. The demand for this place is crazy. The constant rush of customers and orders stressed me out. And yet, I only waited 5-7 minutes for two drinks. They handled it so well, the line moved swiftly, happy customers leaving as eager ones enter. Banana Cream Matcha was okay, I could barely taste the matcha. I only tasted the banana flavor, but my friend LOVES it! She goes 3x a week to get this drink! MUST TRY for banana lovers. The Iced Mocha was soo yummy! The chocolate flavor is so rich and deep. And the espresso was strong! Perfect cup of joe to pair with the sweet donuts. I love that they have mini donuts! I tried the cinnamon roll and apple fritter minis. The cinnamon one was bit drier than I like, glaze too sweet, and the cinnamon flavor is light. However, the apple fritter is DELICIOUS!! I'm obsessed! So well balanced! The apple notes that are a bit tart and the glaze is sweet. Not to mention the texture?! It has that great crunch and a soft doughy texture inside. Great size for indulging in something sweet without a sugar crash or tummy ache. I will definitely come back for the mocha and apple fritter! Walked in on a weekday morning and was greeted by all the workers inside. They were super nice and helpful with describing the different types of donuts. When did donuts get so fancy? Starting off with their current specials, the matcha tiramisu and strawberry matcha are super filled with a dense cream and even topped with a sprinkle of glitter. They also hopped on the Dubai trend with their chocolate coated donut with kataifi and pistachio for that perfect crunch. Last but not least, our favorite ended up being the ube which had a softer cream with yummy ube flavor and a topping of coconut jelly. They have a bunch of other items in store too including more fancy donuts, classics, and matcha lattes. Service was super nice and pretty quick for donuts, drinks may add a few mor minutes to your order. The interior is clean but pretty small, more for to go than sit in. They don't but their donut holes are delicious! Highly recommend the ube filled donut holes - they're available randomly (follow their IG) but you can also place custom orders ahead of time for them.

Hi, if you are looking for a traditional birthday cake, we do not offer that. We do offer a "cake" donut which is a much denser cake than a traditional raised donut make with yeast. Let me know if that answers your question.
