We visited Cinnamon Roll Bakery and Cafe on a Monday morning, and found them moderately busy. The interior was cozy, featuring local art prints of Yosemite and other cute crafts for sale. For drinks, I ordered the iced Salty Bee Latte. While the flavor sounded great in theory, the execution was just good. This one may be better as a hot drink! I also ordered the Acai Bowl, which was tasty and fresh. My friends enjoyed their food as well, especially the Quiche Bite (specials menu), which seemed to be a group favorite. Two of us ordered the Cinnamon Rolls (Maple Bacon and regular), which were tasty and decadent, but not quite worth the hefty price tag. Overall though, this spot was solid for coffee/breakfast. Worth the visit!

CinnamonRoll Bakery Café, Mariposa: 2026 Apr 1 (4.25 of 5) My appointment in Mariposa ended early enough for me to check out several of the eateries in Mariposa. I decided to visit CinnamonRoll Bakery Café on 5th Street. This place was easy to find - on a side street right off the main stretch. Parking: Parking close to the eatery was a bear. I had to drive down the slope and up again, and finally found parking on the main street. Parking is free so that's a plus. (3.75 of 5) Storefront: The storefront speaks for itself - Cinnamon Rolls. It shows you what their specialty is. One table with a couple of chairs was placed right before you enter the shop. I thought that was cute. (4 of 5) Interior: Inside is open and clean. There are lots of artwork and trinkets to check out while you're waiting for your food. A tiny stage-like platform stood in one corner. I'm guessing they have life music on certain days. There is also a stairway that leads to upstairs seating but I did not check that out. (4 of 5) Service: I find the service encompasses a customer's experience - the greeting was warm and friendly. Placing my order was easy. Fyi, you get a discount for paying in cash. (5 of 5) Food: My order of two cinnamon rolls looked appetizing. When I got home - about 45-minutes later, the rolls were still intact. The spiral shape rolls maintained its shape. Both the rolls are pillowy, soft, and buttery in texture, and not overly sweet. Personally, I prefer the roll topped with nuts but without the glaze. The nuts tasted fresh and crunchy. Overall, these rolls were a 4.5 of 5. I was taking some snapshots outside when one of the staff walked out. I asked if I could take an image of him outside the store for social media. He said I could. His name is Burke (sic).

A pricey coffee, pastry, and lunch spot. They have a gluten-free bakery item, and it changes daily. I went at 10AM and they were already sold out, so I'm not sure how often they actually make it. I wouldn't count on having a GF option. It's an extra $1 to get your coffee iced, and anything else you add comes with a significant upcharge. Overall, it's pretty expensive here, and the service is slow. It took about 15 minutes to receive an avocado toast. The man ringing us up was really nice though. They also have some "vintage" items and art for sale, but nothing too unique.

I had no idea this place was in Mariposa and made a visit after seeing a sign on the road. I was blown away. The service was so good and the menu is extensive. They have a combination of healthy and indulgent, sweet and savory. I can't wait to come back.

I'm not sure how cinnamon roll can be in the name of a business with such a mediocre cinnamon roll. It was hard and paid $2 extra for cream cheese frosting which was cold and liquid.....how much cream cheese was in the frosting? Additionally charging extra for something that all cinnamon rolls should come with is crazy. Make a good cinnamon roll and charge $10- not adding extras that do nothing to help a hard semi cold roll. Avocado toast- by definition should have more avocado than any other ingredient, while the toast has a good flavor there was a smear of avocado with other toppings. Their egg is frozen prefab- thankfully I didn't order it, the bacon bits in the egg would have been ideal. Hubs liked his chai freeze. Shop is cute, service is fine, lots of local art to look at.

Great service! They are a fun and kind bunch. They cinnamon really are amazing!! Specially when they are just coming out of the oven. These aren't overly sweet and big enough to share. We came on a Sunday afternoon in May and there weren't too many people so it was a great spot to relax before heading back home. Will definitely be back for more rolls and with more people to share their extensive drink menu.

The staff here was super friendly. We ordered an iced vanilla latte, iced caramel latte, avocado toast with egg and breakfast Sammie. The food and drinks came out quick. I liked the latte because it was not overly sweet and hit the spot. The Sammie and avocado toast were equally as great. I was super happy with the portion sizes. I'll definitely have to get a cinnamon roll next time. They have cute little things for sale from local artists inside the shop as well as local honey and tea. I'd definitely recommend stopping here for breakfast if you're in the area.

The staff here at the bakery and cafe were so sweet! Most cafes just yell your name, but they brought everything right to our table! The coffee (latte with honey) was amazing and so was my pesto turkey sandwich! There was tons of local art being sold and it was so cute! 10/10 recommend stopping in while you are in mariposa!

CINNAMON ROLL BAKERY, y'all need to QUIT IT. Fun fact: I'm from this Central Valley town that believes a central coast spot has the best cinnamon rolls and I'm here to shake it up! These are by far THE best cinnamon rolls I have ever had. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location itself is great, it is 2 seconds away from our Airbnb and is so cute inside and out. I wish they made the artwork on their pay pad as a sticker because it is gorgeous! It's similar to the one they have with their name logo but a lot more artsy and without the name logo. Still highly suggest they create those stickers because I would have bought a few. So back to the rolls!!! I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and holy moly. It was soft, and buttery tasting, with the perfect amount of cinnamon and frosting ratio. I am still thinking about it! I did take a 4 pack home (they have frozen ones to take home with instructions!!) I am going to spread the wealth. Kudos! Such a delightful spot with AMAZING cinnamon rolls. I can't wait to come back.

Delicious Cinnamon roll with frosting and nuts

5 stars for the cinnamon roll and cookie that we tried! The cinnamon roll was not too sweet the frosting was light and not too thick- maybe like a cream cheese flavor to it instead of cake frosting-which I really liked! I added frosting and walnuts to mine and 10/10 would recommend! My coffee was a little watered down and my boyfriend's smoothie tasted a little artificial. Service was great they were fast and very friendly! And there's an art gallery for local artists with things for sale inside which was cool! Lots of things to look at! They also sell cinnamon rolls to take and bake! I can't exactly remember the flavor of cookie we had (I want to say chai tea) but it was SO good, totally worth it! I don't usually like frosted cookies but it had a little crunch along the edges and it was soft in the middle and the frosting did not overwhelm the cookie! Quite the balance!

Swung in for a quick bite to eat and coffee before heading back home. Breakfast sandwich and latte hit the spot after hiking a few days. Place was very busy but food and coffee came out pretty quickly. They have a few tables inside and out. The cookies they sell at the register are also AMAZING. Do yourself favor and get one. Or 3.

Cinnamon Roll with nuts, salty bee latte iced, chai masala iced

Came here on a whim before heading back home from yosemite and wow this place was great! The vibes in here were so nice. It was clean, and the workers were so friendly. The prices are also pretty good in my opinion, less than 5 dollars for a drink is hard to come by! Overall, would definitely recommend checking out if youre in the area.

    Artist and art we purchased!
    Robert S.

Wonderful, tasty and fresh rolls. Loved the extra icing and generous amount of nuts! Tons of cinnamon too. Kind and welcoming staff who enjoy chatting about their bakery and local happenings. Ask about the paintings of old buildings local to Mariposa as well as the trees unique to the area. Same bakery and rolls that is at the Del Mar Fair and same great quality. Brought two home to eat and needed only 30 seconds to microwave. Very clean and loved the displays of local artists. Pleasure meeting Rebecca and purchased one of her paintings.

I mean, how did she know? We ended up ordering iced lattes instead. INTERIOR Small and cozy coffee shop. The owner recently put up a world map for you to add a pin of where you're from. Fun and neat idea for a coffee shop, considering the town receives lots of tourism for Yosemite. ORDER * Iced White Chocolate Latte -- I ordered the latte with oat milk. It was okay. It has a good espresso flavor. I appreciated that the drink wasn't made overly sweet. The white chocolate is subtle. There are a ton of flavors for lattes, but all are syrup-based. * Iced Oat Latte -- My SO ordered this, and it did its job. Overall, The Coffee Shop has a wide selection of drinks, and its mission is to caffeinate you. Give this locally-owned shop a visit.

I ordered a Chocolate Covered Strawberries Frappuccino, and sat down. I loved the fact that they had electric outlets near the indoor seating, but, when I discovered that I had forgotten my headphones, I decided to go outside. (It was too noisy for me inside.) Luckily, it was a nice day, and I was the only one outside. I stuck around until my laptop battery died. If there were somehow outdoor outlets, I might have stayed even longer. The next time I came through, I had been planning to do the same thing, but they looked super busy. Even the outside seating was crowded. I went through the drive through (where there was no line), and tried to order the same Frappuccino. It was no longer on the menu, but the batista said she could make it for me, anyway. It wasn't quite the same, but it was pretty close, and still pretty good. Both times, my drinks were highly Instagrammable. The baristas at this location are good at making pretty drinks... and making the drinks with so much attention to detail seems to make them taste better, too. I'm not sure where all the negative reviews come from, but I've met a few people from this town who have expressed sentiments that they resent having a big chain coffee place like Starbucks in town. I think some of the reviewers are actually just upset that this isn't a mom and pop store. I was impressed with the ambiance, the customer service, and my drinks. Would definitely come back again.

Unfortunately, the quality was far below expectations. The coffee had a noticeably salty, unpleasant taste, and the matcha was extremely bitter with no trace of vanilla at all. We order this same drink regularly at other cafés, so we know what it should taste like--this was not it at all. It was also far too strong for a child, despite specifically asking for it to be kid-friendly. When I politely brought this up, I was surprised by how it was handled. I simply asked to add a little vanilla for it to taste better. Instead of offering to remake the drink or find a solution, I was told I would need to purchase a new one. I rarely ever ask for drinks to be redone, but this one was genuinely undrinkable. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the staff. The response felt dismissive and unprofessional, particularly from an employee named DJ. The interaction left us feeling unwelcome and unheard. Overall, poor quality drinks and disappointing customer service. We won't be returning.
