Stopped here for breakfast on our way out of Yosemite last Sunday. It's a cute eclectic place. The staff is very friendly. I had an iced vanilla latte which I enjoyed. It wasn't too sweet. I had a veggie omelette with hash browns and sourdough toast. The hash browns were far too oily that they weren't edible. Hash browns are my favorite so I was disappointed. The omelette was good and you can't go wrong with toast. I had forgot to order a side of chicken sausage. When I got back in line, the cook made it pretty quick, which I appreciated. My family enjoyed their breakfast burritos and drinks. Overall the food was good and the service was too. There's plenty of parking and seating available. It does get rather busy in the morning.

We were visiting Yosemite and staying nearby. I stumbled across this place while looking for a brunch spot and was immediately sold. It is very spacious and decorated super cute. There's plenty of seating, indoors and outdoor. The weather was perfect, so we decided to sit outdoors where there was also a live jazz band. You order at the counter and then your food is brought out to you when ready. The line was pretty long when we went, and all of the menus were occupied. Luckily, their menu online is updated so we were still able to decide what we wanted before it was our turn to order. We ordered the turkey sandwich, banana pecan waffle, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything was delicious, but the waffle really stood out for me. There's also a section when you grab your own condiments indoors. There's plenty of parking available and the perfect place to enjoy a nice day outside. I definitely recommend this place!

Oh my goodness this little cafe offers a BIG party of many treats!! And not just sweets! Came here again on a hopping Sunday late morning with our family who lives part time in Oakhurst... such a cute place! Truly amazing because they make everything homemade here! And their coffee is so good! They offer a wide variety of coffee drinks too. Their breakfast menu is awesome! And I literally had the best corned beef hash I've ever had! I highly recommend coming here! You won't be disappointed! The community feels are beyond welcoming! Must try!

Such a charming little bakery. You can tell it's a neighborhood favorite--the regulars were already settled in and enjoying their morning meals. The staff were warm, friendly, and patient in explaining the menu to us as first‑timers.

Great food. Not your typical breakfast spot as they have a different spin on classics. Coffee is hot and fresh. They even offer chicken sausage as an alternative. Will definitely return.

A hidden gem in Oakhurst! Very cute decor with plants and sewing machines. I went there on mother's day weekend for a late brunch and there was a long wait, almost an hour. So be prepared to wait. The service and the food made it worth the wait! I ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice for my drink. My omelette and potatoes were delicious!! Will definitely be back!

Stopped by here for brunch since we stayed in Oakhurst for our Yosemite trip. We arrived early on a Tuesday morning and it was quite empty at first, but by the time we were almost done eating the line was out the door! This place is your typical breakfast foods but everything was delicious. I'm not crazy big into breakfast foods but I really enjoyed the country fried steak; seasoning was perfect. And the honey lavender coffee was definitely the highlight!! Will definitely come back for my next Yosemite trip!

I ordered the steak and eggs with hash browns, and it was delicious. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, and the over-easy eggs had beautifully runny yolks. We also tried the corned beef hash, which was served on a hot cast-iron plate. It was decent--just didn't quite stand out for me, but still an enjoyable dish overall. Service is counter-order style: you place your order up front, grab a number, and sit wherever you like. The staff brings the food out to your table, and seating is open with no set rotation. The restaurant has a charming vintage décor with a cozy café-style diner vibe, though there isn't counter seating. Overall, it's a nice breakfast/brunch spot and a great place to stop on your way out of Fish Camp.

Breakfast sandwich was hearty and delicious.

What a great local spot! The food is made to order like it came from your grandmas kitchen. The staff is kind and takes their time with each guest despite the volume of customers. Need something special - just ask ! Sugar free jelly or syrup...vegetarian options. The ambiance is cute and nostalgic without being cluttered or old.

Great brunch spot if you are traveling to Yosemite. Their country fried steak was juicy and super flavorful. My wife loved their chicken and waffles, the sweet and savory combination made the meal nice and balanced. Our son had their corn beef hash, which was also good, would've been perfect with a pinch of salt less. The only thing we didn't like was their coffee. Their Toffe Nut Caramel Coffee was way too sweet, make sure you order it with 25% sugar!

Cute cafe with old school charm Had the almond danish Orange scone Bees breakfast burrito with bacon Order at the counter or at your table, for quick and efficient service. The pastry was good, fresh, and had the right amount of sweetness. The burrito was good, and I had it in Yosemite 2 hours later, still held up in form. It's not big enough for sharing if you're really hungry.

Charming little bakery / cafe in the Oakhurst area which acted as a timely pitstop as we made our way up to Yosemite from Orange County. Loved the cozy interior that gave the feel of a local mom and pop shop. Skip the fancy schmancy and instead focus on the nostalgia. Enjoyed perusing the old school typewriters, artwork, and knick knacks throughout. We ordered a couple breakfast items, coffee, and of course the infamous almond croissant. Portions are hefty and satiating, staff at the counter are friendly, and the almond croissant itself makes the visit worth it. Really enjoyed out drop-in and would recommend Bee's to others.

Super aromatic and tasted even better since you can see them pulling the espresso shot. My friend's lavender latte was delicious. First floral note giving away to an excellent latte. They know their stuff here. We loved the staff here. Very friendly and helpful, I loved complimenting the baristas on their craft and passing along the cheerfulness from the cashier who was very welcoming. They were very methodical and consistent with each drink, it seems. The shop was cute, with ample parking. The patio was busy-ish with people flocking in and out to pick up their orders once their name was called. I liked the combination of rustic and modern decorations, making for AN EXCELLENT stop before heading in or out of Yosemite. This coffee is worth going out of the way for since you will be leaving very happy after pleasant interactions and a deliiiiiicious coffee. 10/10!

Unfortunately, the quality was far below expectations. The coffee had a noticeably salty, unpleasant taste, and the matcha was extremely bitter with no trace of vanilla at all. We order this same drink regularly at other cafés, so we know what it should taste like--this was not it at all. It was also far too strong for a child, despite specifically asking for it to be kid-friendly. When I politely brought this up, I was surprised by how it was handled. I simply asked to add a little vanilla for it to taste better. Instead of offering to remake the drink or find a solution, I was told I would need to purchase a new one. I rarely ever ask for drinks to be redone, but this one was genuinely undrinkable. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the staff. The response felt dismissive and unprofessional, particularly from an employee named DJ. The interaction left us feeling unwelcome and unheard. Overall, poor quality drinks and disappointing customer service. We won't be returning.

While walking in, I thought to myself "it's gorgeous, why didn't we stay here again?" and then remembered because all of their low ratings as a hotel are due to poor service. The receptionist at the entrance is very bleh (didn't even greet us, she just looked at us so we said hello first ). We sat down and ordered. We were the only customers. The girl who took our order was nice enough but lacked professionalism. She just seemed out of it. She didn't write down our order, but a few minutes later came back saying "wait what did you for your entree again?". I'm glad she double checked, but for the price of the food and aesthetic of the restaurant, I expected better service. I ordered the wagyu burger but wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked - I assume they only cook it well-done because that's how it came. It didn't have the juicy buttery flavor of Wagyu, or really any flavor at all. The bread was good. The fries are phenomenal and I liked that more than my burger Carrots & whipped ricotta was good but not great - very flat flavor profile of ricotta, honey, and carrots. I think this dish could've been better with some acidity like a bit of lemon on the side. The chicken pesto penne pasta was good, but still flat. It would be better with cherry tomatoes or something to give it depth. The pasta was cooked perfectly Despite the chicken being absolutely tiny (approx 4"), it was juicy. Wish there was more of it I didn't care for the butternut squash soup but my husband liked it. It had good flavor but was very thin. Overall the place is pretty, but I wouldn't return as the food was very forgettable. It's a shame that the best thing was the side of fries. I'm giving a 4 due to the food tasting clean/quality.

That is exactly what happened during my recent dinner at Elderberry House. I visited with a group of four, and between us, we had two gluten-free diners and one vegetarian. After a quick heads-up the day before, the restaurant handled our needs with total ease. We went for the five-course tasting menu, and it was incredible from start to finish. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. The kitchen even looked out for our gluten-free friends with a special version of their herbal-butter focaccia that was actually delicious. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient. The service is what really made the night so special. Jordan was so charismatic and helpful, making sure we were perfectly taken care of all evening. He was so good that I almost worried a second visit would not be the same without him, though the rest of the staff quickly put that fear to rest. Abby was so friendly and responsible for a truly unique but perfect-for-the-vibe playlist, and Chris the mixologist even stopped by to geek out about gin and cocktails with us. From the genuine care for our food sensitivities to the clever touch of the iPad check-in hidden in an elegant binder, it was a night for the books. I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to bringing my family next!

We agreed that the confirmation of a great Mexican restaurant comes from the rice and beans they serve. (4 of 5) Rib Eye Tacos: The rib eye tacos feature juicy, richly marbled steak cubes piled into warm home-made flour tortillas, topped with caramelized onions, cabbage and guacamole. The tender pieces of meat had great complexity, was well-charred, and had a nice mouthfeel. It breaks down easily with minimal chewing and the taste lingers on my tongue after each bite. (4.75 of 5) Fish Tacos: From street-food to table-top specialty, this is a popular Mexican dish. Their Ensenada-style beer-battered halibut served on homemade corn tortillas with pineapple-cabbage slaw and garlic chipotle sauce is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Squeezing a generous amount of lime juice added a bright, sharp sour taste that cuts through and balances the overall flavour.
