During our recent stay in Oakhurst, we came to Bee's for an early breakfast because they open at 7am. We got a breakfast burrito, ginger cookie, a coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice to go. The burrito was simple but delicious. The cookie was really good - maybe one of the best ginger snap cookies I've had. The staff here were very nice and courteous and food came out fairly quickly. This place is on our must eat list whenever we are in the area! I know whatever I order will be cooked and seasoned to perfection! I chose chicken and waffle. Stopped here for breakfast on our way out of Yosemite last Sunday. It's a cute eclectic place. The staff is very friendly. I had an iced vanilla latte which I enjoyed. It wasn't too sweet. I had a veggie omelette with hash browns and sourdough toast. The hash browns were far too oily that they weren't edible. Hash browns are my favorite so I was disappointed. The omelette was good and you can't go wrong with toast. I had forgot to order a side of chicken sausage. When I got back in line, the cook made it pretty quick, which I appreciated. My family enjoyed their breakfast burritos and drinks. Overall the food was good and the service was too. There's plenty of parking and seating available. You order at the counter and then your food is brought out to you when ready. The line was pretty long when we went, and all of the menus were occupied. Luckily, their menu online is updated so we were still able to decide what we wanted before it was our turn to order. We ordered the turkey sandwich, banana pecan waffle, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything was delicious, but the waffle really stood out for me. Came here again on a hopping Sunday late morning with our family who lives part time in Oakhurst... such a cute place! Truly amazing because they make everything homemade here! Left Yosemite and were looking for a place for brunch before heading south. Stumbled upon Bee's Cafe. Cute decor with ample of seating inside and covered patio. Great and friendly service. The weather was nice, so we decided to sit in the patio. Luckily there wasn't a long line when we arrived. We ordered lattes, pastries, omelet, and breakfast sandwich at the counter. There's a section for you grab the condiments by the counter. The lattes and hot food are brought to the table when they are ready. Everything was delicious, but pastries were exceptional. We didn't get to try any menu items however, just their coffee and some pastries. Their strawberry croissant was delicious as well as their honey bear claw and coffee cake. Their lattes are good but definitely not the bestest coffee in the world. Their strawberry banana smoothie was good but definitely on the sweeter/strawberry side. I don't usually post things like this, but I feel like I need to share my experience. I've been a regular customer at this coffee shop for months. I used to go almost every day, I've supported them consistently, bought drinks and beans there regularly, and it was part of my daily routine during a really difficult time in my life. My usual drink isn't available on their online ordering system, so I've always called ahead to place my order. That has never been an issue before. They knew my order so well that they referred to it as "the Amy Special," and there were times my drink was prepared ahead of time for me to pick up when I arrived. Today I called to place my usual order. I was told the person on the phone was the owner, and I was told they had been discussing my drink and that it was "very unusual," and that I would need to come in to order instead. I asked for clarification because I've always ordered the same way for months. I was told again that I would need to come in, and that my drink was too complicated to order over the phone. I explained that I've been ordering this drink the same way for a long time and that I've always been able to call it in before. After I said I was going through a hard time and wasn't really up for coming in, the call ended. When I called back, the phone was hung up on multiple times before I was able to briefly speak with someone again. When I did finally speak with someone I recognized, my reaction was emotional because I was confused and hurt by what was happening, and the interaction didn't feel like the experience I had come to expect from them. What I'm upset about is not that a business can change how they operate. What I'm upset about is that there was no clear communication that a policy had changed, and no explanation that made sense of why something that had been routine for months was suddenly not allowed. I'm sharing this because I genuinely thought I had a good relationship with this place as a customer, and today's experience didn't reflect that. This was a place I supported daily for a long time, and it became part of my routine during a period of my life when it genuinely mattered more than people probably realize. That's why today's experience felt so disappointing and hard to process. read more

I finally got to try Bee's Bakery and I can honestly say everything was so good. The iced lavender latte with extra shot of espresso was my favorite drink, it was super smooth, refreshing, and the lavender flavor wasn't overpowering at all. I was able to customize my own bagel with an everything bagel, with eggs over medium with two strips of bacon, and a garlic sauce. But the blueberry lemon danish completely stole the show for me. It was soft, buttery, and had the perfect balance of sweet blueberry and tangy lemon flavor. You can really tell they put care into their pastries. Came here after the Yosemite half marathon. Super cute and quaint inside. Food isn't the best thing I've ever eaten but it was decent.

My strongest recommendation is to get there early, as they do run out of items. I had a GF blueberry muffin, so happy to see that there were a couple of GF options amongst the delicious looking croissants, bear claws, chocolate and almond croissants, chocolate chip cookies and muffins. Our party sampled breakfast sandwiches (huge and filled with ham, bacon, or sausage), French toast, a chocolate croissant, and a regular blueberry muffin. Everything was very good. As our cashier said, possibly the owner, "i have very high standards." Service was quick and friendly. It was busy on a Friday morning, obviously a local favorite and that's a good sign for me. read more

We stopped to have brunch on our way to Yosemite and this spot was so cute! It looks like a thrift store on the inside with a lot of vintage items. It was a busy Sunday and they messed up on some of our plates but they were happily able to remake them but it took a while due to traffic. The average american meals were good but the avocado toast was not good if you're used to authentic sourdough bread and cheese, I would not recommend. I had the crispy chicken Sandwitch and I give it a 6/10 because I prefer my chicken to be more seasoned but it hit the spot. The service was nice. read more

Wow so happy we found this gem! I live in the Bay Area and was visiting the area to see my bf. It was our first time here, so we weren't sure what to expect, but everything looked amazing the moment we walked in. We ordered the country-fried steak but didn't realize we were given the lunch version we were hoping for the breakfast one. We flagged down a staff member who was walking by, and she was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped to switch it out and brought us the fried chicken instead. Honestly, I'm so glad she did because OMG it was amazing. The gravy alone was chef's kiss. We also ordered the BLT sandwich, which comes on a croissant, and it was delicious. Great food and great customer service we left very happy. The next morning, we had planned to make eggs and bacon at home, but we couldn't stop talking about how much we enjoyed breakfast the day before, so we decided to go back again. This time, we both ordered iced vanilla lattes with oat milk so good. I finally got my country-fried steak with crispy tater tots, and my boyfriend ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was also delicious. It has a very cute ambiance. Between the two sandwiches we got, I really liked the Mediterranean avocado toast. The Italian veggie had fresh ingredients but the bread was dry making it difficult to eat. Loved the Labor Day special frappe. It was a white chocolate pistachio drink that was made to perfection. Amongst the bakery items we tried, we liked the coffee cake the most.
