Nice gas station. Clean and had a wide selection of food and drinks. They also have a Subway inside. Cashier was so kind!

I was just trying to find the closest gas station in this remote area of Georgia when as soon as I park by the entrance there's 6 people sitting out front. Obviously I wonder why and as I'm looking at them one lady with sunglasses is literally shooing us like flies from a distance with no context. Eventually over her loud attitude, it's apparent that the store is closed even though it's 24 hours ???? As an employee or whatever that lady was, she should work on her people skills. It appears this store location has a history of rude staff. Here is my story with a night cashier, heavy set, extremely short hair above the ears who stated she was the manager when I asked for the manager. On Fridays sometime Sat after work, I stop at this store around 11pm to fill up and buy a 6 pack of beer. This location is an easy stop on my way home however I dreed stopping at this location because the cashier always has an attitude. She never says anything even when I ask how her day is. Always aggressively shoving my purchase in a bag and blankly staring at me when I tell her good night. As if she is angry at the world. A week ago, I did my usual stop at this store except this time I did not purchase a pack of cigs. I quite 6 days earlier. I told this cashier "I will not be purchasing my usual cigs because I quite" She looked at me coldly and said "that beer your buying is going to kill you faster then the cigs" I disagreed with her. She snapped started yelling that her brother died of alcoholism and to get the H*LL out of her store. I know you're thinking there had to be more to the story for her to snap in the first place however there was not. I was upset but decided not to complain as she might be going through something. A week later I stopped to get my 6 pack. This same cashier advised I am not allowed in HER store and to leave. So, I did. I read the other review and that customer service does sound bad. That said, we've been driving in beautiful but remote Georgia for a couple hours now and a nice clean gas station with a good store and bathrooms are few and far between. I was going to basically take my chances with almost anything in this town but was pretty pleasantly surprised, and if someone in a similar situation were looking to yelp, I'd want them to know this is a decent option. Certainly nothing amazing, and in other circumstances I'd only give it 3 stars, but with few options and one (valid) one star review, I felt the need to bump this to 4 stars simply for having a descent bathroom and clean store. There are two bathrooms (men & women) and each has just one toilet. Women's was clean, had tp and soap, and one of those nice newer hand driers that's fast and quick. My husband says his was "adequate". Had tp if needed, soap and hand drier as well and "didn't smell super bad". So again, this would be an "acceptable" 3 stars in a bigger city with options, but I'm extra appreciative having it in a less populated area! read more

If a zero star was an option it would be my pick. I've never been more offended to ever buy from a store before. Me and my boyfriend(yes we are gay) have used this place to buy our cigarettes, beer, sodas, and gas when coming home from working late in cumming ga. A couple weeks ago they refused to sell my boyfriend two different packs of cigarettes because they said he looked young and might be buying for teenagers, first off we are both over 23, him turning 24 in less than a month. We are of age to have graduated for a 4 yr to 6yr degree. I'm currently working my way threw my jobs management program to run restaurants, do you REALLY think people our age are associating with high school kids we let that pass because we do look young for our age, but today they chose to shame my boyfriend and make jokes to his face because he walked in after some younger guys and belittled him infront of not only their customers in line but also the ones waiting for the subway that's located inside. They said to him maybe you shouldn't walk In with that crowd so we don't think you are their age( the main manager and a worker) and proceeded to laugh and make jokes while he was in the store... I for one am appalled that a chain business would let there workers act this way. I know the restaurant I work with tries their best to give great hospitality but after today, unless something changes, I won't do any business with this business and will aggressively pursue a chance where no one I know or do business with even stops by this location.
