This is a really clean and neat gas station. My husband love pretzels, so they had some really fresh ones. It was so hot and buttery. The regular gas is $3.37. However, when I served them on Sunday, they were stringy and tough, to the point that we couldn't chew them. My 54-year-old son couldn't even cut them with kitchen scissors as we normally do; he needed a knife. The expressions on everyone's faces when they took their first bite were a clear sign that something was wrong. I sheepishly admitted where I bought them. The ribs were tough and terrible, and my family ultimately discarded them. I have video evidence of the ribs purchased for Sunday dinner. I never have leftover ribs; I always buy one, two, or three uncut slabs. This time, I bought two uncut slabs. The cook, who was not the usual one, and the owner accused me of not knowing how to serve ribs, despite my 68 years of experience. They refused a refund and offered another slab, which I reluctantly accepted. Once home, I noticed: 1) they weren't fresh off the grill as claimed, 2) the outer meat was too dark, and the skin looked like the discarded ribs, and 3) I couldn't even cut a bone with kitchen scissors. I contacted another frequent customer, and she had a similar experience with a 3-bone sandwich last week, which she threw out of her car window. I don't know why the previous chef left, but I will never return.
