I have gone there at all odd hours of the day like after midnight, during the afternoon, you name it and it's the consistency I like the most. Who likes to drink old coffee that sat way too long or sometimes it's made too strong or burnt? I don't and I been to all sort of different gas stations to get coffee like Circle K and the consistency is always a big issue. Even McD's fast food coffee is inconsistent depending on when you go. Not here! The coffee they carry is the Farmer Brothers' brand. I like the Colombian and French roast here. They may have carried another brand in the past but this brand is very good and popular. They also offer options on creamer flavors to select from but I generally get mine black without sugar. Nothing but pure coffee to perk me up! Keep in mind that this is a liquor store but they also sell hot food in the morning like sausages, bacon or turkey with eggs on croissant or English muffins. Donuts and pastries are also available and are made in the back all day but not positive. It really get pack with people in the morning. I've even seen truck drivers stopped at the center divider after getting off the ramp from south 101 to come here. You can park at the restaurant just to the right of this market when the lot is packed with cars. The people who works here are friendly and helpful. No problem for Spanish speaking patrons. It's usually a hot day and it's usually just for a slushee. The employees here are super friendly and very helpful. They keep it clean and well stocked. It has the basics in the junk food department: chips, sodas, beers, hot dogs, and slushees of course. They've a decent salad and fruit selection, too. Shell is a Top Tier major fuel brand, and has a reputation for being pricey gas. I was at this Shell/ Loop Market at about 850pm on a Tuesday. The car wash was closed, so I couldn't review that. The food mart was very clean and well organized. It looks like they were doing re-stocking or maybe an inventory count. I was looking for something to eat, and Oh Look! They have hotdogs! $1.99 for 1/4-lb hotdog. So I asked for a hotdog for two reasons: (1) I like their hotdogs, and (2) I wanted to see how he serves it to me. I told the clerk about my weird hotdog experience at the Loop Market in Daly City last week. He didn't know why they served hotdogs like that. The clerk served the hotdogs on buns, on their own paper tray. Very nice, but the buns weren't fresh. The actual hotdog was fresh and juicy, and probably still within it's holding time for best quality. So in general, a good experience at this Shell station. The food mart is equipped with modern dispensers and fresh food tables. Also, lots of packaged foods are available. Note: Posted sign says no pump assistance for disabled persons at this station.

Comfort food over health food - sometimes you just gotta do it! Normally my trips here are for things on short notice, like milk or snacks when I don't feel like travelling to the large supermarket over the freeway and through the parking lots. So, when we got 2 pizzas here - a pepperoni and a cheese - I was pleasantly surprised! They "cook" the pizzas fresh when you buy a whole for about $7, and it arrived home very hot and with melty cheese. The crust is different than I expected, not too doughy but not thin and crispy either. And the sauce was great - slightly sweet but with an after tang that was a bit spicy to me. Very nice taste. Granted, you don't get a lot for the money, but it's fresh, hot and tasty - and that's all we need sometimes, especially when no one wants to cook or spend $30 on our favorite pizza. In other words - a great option for good convenience store pizza! They also have pre-made sandwiches, salads and assorted other foods as well. And the place is clean and well stocked and always friendly staff, although parking can be a bear (it shares a small lot with a busy laundromat) but definitely worth considering for spur of the moment snack - or dinner - needs.
