I had a very frustrating experience with an employee named Joel who offered no real help in resolving my issue. I paid $45 for gas at the self-checkout, but when I went to pump, no gas came out. Naturally, I was upset. Joel, who was the only employee present, told me to cancel the transaction and assured me the money would be refunded to my account. I waited, but the refund never appeared. When I followed up with him, he responded with an attitude and said, "Well, it isn't instantaneous." I then asked if he could apply the payment to a different pump, but he claimed he couldn't. After waiting a bit longer, I called and asked to speak to a manager--he said he was the manager. I told him, "I need gas. I already paid. What am I supposed to do?" and shockingly, he replied, "Do you not have any money left?" His customer service was terrible, and his attitude was completely unprofessional. In the end, I had to pay another $45 just to get gas--on top of the $45 I had already paid. read more

Customer service at this store is always awful. The lady that's here most days during the week is always so rude and short with customers.

On the 28th day of December 2023 I and a friend to went to this location and bought 6 things; chicken bites, a Cinnabon sugar and cinnamon muffin, Oh snap hottie pickle bites, 7 day Soft Croissant, red bull and a sprite XL poller pop. The over all price was quite the steal. This location has occasionally been referred to at "Ghetto K" due to how haggard the place looks. It's an old-style small facility that seems like a convenient location, but due to the unusual intersection and traffic light of Sheldon St.and Gurley St., right in front and the HW89 & HW69 split nearby, traffic can be brutal and getting in and out of the lot can be tricky. It's a busy store. There is usually just a couple people on staff, so it can be dirty and messy. Things that can break down often are. But the place gets the job done. I often avoid it because of the traffic and parking lot situation. But one thing I will say is that when I do stop here the staff seems to be pretty friendly! There are often smiles and a lily in their voice, except maybe for the one grumpy old guy who is definitely way past retirement age. But really, he's ok too. This Circle K deserves more Yelp love than it gets. read more

Terrible skip this place. Couldn't get a receipt they told me had to wait approx 5 mins when it should have just printed at the pump. But there was a j or it was out of paper eighther way they failed multiple things. Service sucks too no wonder they dont have even three stars. We normally like to go to QuikTrip, but we didn't see any in Prescott when we planned on getting gas on our way home back to the Phoenix area. This place is really gross. It was very crowded the day we went here, Christmas Day. The parking lot was full as well as the gas pumps. Our debit card wouldn't work at the pump, which the pump area looks like it's never been cleaned since the place opened. As soon as you walk through the front doors, there is this nasty smell of smoke throughout the store. You would figure there might be the smell of smoke outside, but thankfully there wasn't. The store, however, just really reeked of cigarettes. Gross. We filled up on gas, which was not an easy task in itself. Getting out of the pump area into the parking area was dangerous. People seemed to be just in a lousy mood. We did get some food, some hot dogs, I don't know why except that we were super hungry. Guess it would have been better to eat the air inside the car because we got sick from what we ate. The inside of the store, especially the soda and hot foods area were not well kept. Just thinking about our experience here this day still makes me cringe. Next time we'll stop at some place in Prescott Valley or even pay higher on I-17 for gas. This place is just thoroughly disgusting and unclean, unkept in all respects. read more

The location isn't ideal and it gets a bit hectic so be careful entering & trying to exit the lot. The proximity to Yavapai College is great so you can usually shoot on over for a quick bite and beverage before heading back to class. The parking lot can be a pain at times during busy hours, both to get in to and exit from hence the three stars, it really does feel like an accident waiting to happen. The staff always seems very friendly whenever I go in there which is quite nice. There gas prices are also fairly agreeable for their location, They may not be the lowest but they are generally not the highest either. read more

This is a busy convenient location. But the place is disgustingly dirty. The food area, drink station, eeew. You can tell they are required to mop but all of the edges of the floor are thick with built up crud. They are probably required to wipe down the machines but it looks like a Quick top wipe. Costumer service mostly around evenings is horrible. there are 2 gentlemen I am always kind curtious greet them due to the fact I'm never greeted upon entering nor coming to front to purchase on top of that Ive been getting over charged 95 percent of the time I go there on my drinks I even informed the gentlemen of it who's name I'm not going to say I dont want to ruin peoples jobs or lives over it cause I choose not to be that kind of person but I've worked in costumer service since 13 to 14 years of age after turning 18 ALL but 2 of my jobs have been in convenience stores. I've been a regular employee I have been a manager a assistant manager as well as a merchandise manager due to the fact the employees when I started that job simply were to lazy to properly check orders when they come in and did not put the merchandise up right and the freezer back room and shed were literally a hazard and someone could of gotten seriously injured trying to stock so I fixed everything once hired and when the manager saw that he nearly immediately made me the merchandise manager so a 108 pound girl was lifting huge boxes 40 pounds and up alot of them were less but I know how to lift properly so it wasnt an issue for me but that's beside the point when you work in costumer service you treat your costumers with respect especially when they are kind and curtious to you and when you inform them of an issue or mistake they made you make it right not just stand there and glare at them. Also bought a certain product that if you bought so many you got 2 of them free so after clearly thinking I was lying he made sure to count out all the donuts I was correct and he charged me one less so I would still be paying more on the same transaction he charged me an extra 1.12 for a drink I bought with there exspensive cups claiming refills for all of them are only 89 cents if you purchase either cup. The store is new so I always cut them slack for charging me the 1.09 which it should have been charged if it werent there cup because 20 cents isnt anything but to charge me over a dollar more with THEIR cup i purchased to EVENTUALLY save money on my drinks due to the fact i go in there atleast once a day but typically 2 to 4 sometimes more times a day, but now will never go into another circle k in arizona or nevada again being the same company owns mostly all circle ks in both states. I live across the street from a maverick but go out of my way to go to circle k and spend the extra gas money and time but never again. Even with the fact that they are the only store in town that Carrys the drink I like so I'm back to only drinking water buying all my cigs from the smoke shop or other stores regardless of how much more I have to pay and will go to grocery stores or other convenience stores to make the purchases I typically make there. Being I spend a good min 200 max 4 to 5 hundred a month with them between my fiance and I and they have officially lost the business of all my family and friends so they lost well over 3 grand a month over the consistant lack of costumer service disrespect and attitude I get from 2 of the employees working there. read more

I usually visit this store during the daytime, and the customer service representatives are fantastic. They're usually very cordial and always greet me with a smile. If I only went there during the day, I would give this place 4 or 5 stars. The reason for 2 stars is due solely to the fact that one of the night shift employees, Aaron, is far from friendly and never seems to smile. His surly attitude and unfriendly nature are often a big enough motivation for me to drive out of my way to another Circle K for my night time convenience store purchases. It's nice to feel as though your patronage is appreciated so, in the future, I'll pass on this location if I want a 44 oz Polar Pop after dark. read more
