So, I decided to just go inside with my card and pay. After waiting for the attendant to get off the phone, I handed him my card and stated I was having trouble with pump two. He replied, "You don't know what you are doing." After responding the screen was blank, and nothing happened. He replied, "Get OUT!" The statement took me by surprise, and I asked him to not get an attitude because the machine does not work properly. He replied again, "Get the FUCK OUT!" I asked, "Did you just tell me to get out?" He said, "Yes, what are you still doing here?" I asked for the manager. "He's gone." WOW! He promptly yelled again, "Get the FUCK OUT! and don't come back." I told him he was a prick, "Yes I am, now get out." The whole incident took me by complete surprise, and wanted people to know. It was completely unacceptable. You can't tell from looking at the station data, or from Google/Apple maps, that the station sells "clear gas" at its pumps. Clear gas should not only be used in boat engines, but the absence of methanol makes it the perfect fuel base for any small motor device like a generator, chain saw, tree pruner, weed eater, brush grinders, etc. (Ethanol rots the rubber seals in these devices.) I'd suggest that the availability of clear gas be made known for all Maverik stations that have it available in the station metadata... such as on Yelp, Apple Maps, etc: that would save us a lot of time searching for it! Other suggestion: stop the video ads at the pump. They're very annoying.

They charge you a fee of $3.95 without the person who is using it to add any amount that you choose. It automatically puts out $40.00 dollars, even though you didn't ask for that amount, and it charges you the fee. I called the Chino Valley Police Department and I called the phone number on the bottom of the ATM. The phone number is just a recording and they do not offer any support, nor be able to tell them that their system is malfunctioning. The Chino Valley Police said that they couldn't do anything, but I was told that he would never use the Circle K ATM. I needed to go into my Chase Bank the following day and still didn't get anything as far as reasonable response. Do not use any ATM at any Circle K establishment. I'm used to seeing Shell prices at a few cents higher, or even jacked way up along the interstate or in other Northern AZ small towns, so that is a pleasant surprise. Likewise, the "Minute Mart" is tiny by current standards. I've never seen a smaller one anywhere. They do carry plenty of beverages, bottle and fountain, and they keep those prices low too. On a Friday afternoon they had no hot dogs on the tiny roller grill (which looked turned off) so if you needed a bite to eat you had to settle on bagged chips. The staff here are friendly and the store is well arranged. But in all candor, the place is filthy. There is grime everywhere, starting with the walkway outside, the floors inside, walls, doors, glass, displays... I was shocked. I decided not to use the restrooms as there is no way they could be better than the common areas. For me they get points for one thing: they have a No Caffeine/No Sugar beverage in their fountain. (SOBE) You might be surprised how hard it is to find this type of beverage anywhere in Prescott, whether restaurants, fast food, or convenience store. I'm usually forced to go with plain water. So, good on ya for that one, Shell.

Two stars because I did my part to prevent this scenario and your employees closed before the posted time.
