I was disappointed to say the least, but I was given multiple recommendations for other menu items to try. I ended up trying the Cubano Latte, which was flavorsome. It's definitely worth trying. What surprised me were the fresh strawberry bits on the bottom and the interesting dusting of what looked to be strawberry powder on top. I've never seen that before. I appreciate the creativity. My son's Tepache was unique and refreshing. According to my son, Piloncillo is pure sugarcane juice that is boiled down to form a caramelized syrup. This particular one here consists of coconut milk, pandan agar jelly, red beans, and water chestnut coated in tapioca. The hubby ordered the grass jelly and coconut milk dessert. The grass jelly has a mild herbal depth and it is balanced beautifully by the smooth, lightly sweet coconut milk.
