Bins are *expertly* organized by brand, then by speed, then by mold, then by plastic type. Impeccable!

This is THE Disc Golf destination in San Diego. The Pro Shops attached to our local courses are great, but Circle One has them sorely beaten in size, comfort, and selection by virtue of being in a dedicated storefront. It's exceptionally validating as a Disc Golfer to wander around a space the size of a fully-featured sporting goods store. It doesn't feel cramped, it's not awkward to rub shoulders with fellow golfers, and the lighting/music/decor does a great job of setting the vibe. They're incredibly well-organized by Brand, Speed, and Mold. The sheer wealth of shelves and storage gives you huge selection by color and weight, and having multiple employees to chat with or consult feels comfortably First Class; staff even wrote down my suggestions! I love that they have a dedicated section for Limited stamps and for Used Discs. They have a few exclusive items like local Course Posters that are very tastefully designed! Prices are very favorable and hard to beat even by online standards. Support Brick & Mortar! Don't buy from Dick's or Amazon! - - - This is the perfect follow-up activity for a long morning Disc Golfing with the homies!

I asked friends if they knew of anyone who does this and came up with nothing. I suddenly remembered this store and was wondering if it is still around. Sure enough, it is and looked on the website if they do relacing and they do! I was wondering if they relace vintage baseball gloves and took the shot and drove up there. Sure enough, they were able to take my gloves and relace them. The gentleman mentioned it would be ready by the next day. Dropped them off and about 2 hours later, I got a message that they're ready! That was so fast and a very reasonable price to get them relaced. I am so thankful for this store, staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They love the sport and it shows. I thought this store was going to close about 20 years ago when I stepped in for the first time because baseball was dying. I got my first Rawlings glove here and still have it to this day. I'm glad Charlie Rose is still open and I hope business continues!

From their amazing selection of bats to the wide variety of pants and shirts -- and an absolutely outstanding selection of gloves -- they truly have it all. Their prices are excellent, their commitment to the community is unmatched, and the customer service is second to none. If you're looking for a one-stop shop for all your softball needs, this is it.

Their clubs are beautifull and very well made. Their fitting fee is extremely reasonable especially compared to other stores. He took his time with my fitting, was not pushy and literally sold me the clubs that I hit best according to the data. I am most impressed with their sugar daddy wedges. I love them. Since REI is located in an industrial street, there are many parking spots available for this building and the main building. My husband and I took our snowboards to get waxed. This time around, we opted to pay for the hot wax as opposed to their free machine wax. The hot wax is usually $36 each but they were having a promo that it's half off until March. We went on a Saturday mid-afternoon and it took only about 20 minutes. I also wanted to buy some new boots and I put my name down on the sign up sheet on the clipboard. I was the next one in line and thought the wait wouldn't be too long but I still ended up waiting about 30 minutes to be seen. It seemed there was only one guy dedicated to the boot fitting area. After a while, I ended up approaching another worker and thankfully he said he was able to help me out. *Tip if you're going for boot fitting: put your name down on the list but also just ask anyone with a green vest to see if they can help you out so you don't end up unnecessarily waiting a while. I'd like to give Mike a huge shoutout for helping me find the right boots! He was so personable and he took the time to explain what I should feel. He suggested I put insoles in my boots because I have flatter feet and it made a whole difference, so I really appreciate that. Overall, we had a great experience and received wonderful customer experience between getting our boards waxed, fitting for my new boots, and checking out.

REI stands for Recreation Equipment, Inc. Most of the merchandise seems to be geared towards camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities. I saw tents, sleeping bags, campfire cooking equipment, sunglasses, clothing, shoes, bags, first aid kits, and more! My cousin was so happy to find a pair of name brand flip flops for half off (around $50). My other cousin bought some dry-fit clothing. As long as they're happy, right? They are literally Happy Campers! =D

Today as I browsed around, I noted that the store was overwhelmed with World Cup gear which is cool, but the merchandise that I saw, including Jerseys, t-shirts, shorts, etc., was really crowded and disorganized and it looked like the Tasmanian Devil had whirled himself through it. The aisles were also impossibly packed with stuff, and it made passing other customers an obstacle course. Anyway, I also walked past the flip-flops with the intention of possibly purchasing a new pair for the summer. Leather Olukais were almost $90, simple Havaianas were over $40, and plastic Birks were $50. Needless to say, I didn't buy any... I'll stick with my beloved & comfy Reefs that I bought last summer. Finally, I walked over the water bottles... There was one type of Stanley straws available and they were $11.25. I looked online and the same straws were originally priced at $15 , but were on sale for $9. There were no Stanley "boots" in the store, so I couldn't get one of those. They had some made by another brand, and a few Owala ones, but none of the colors worked with my tumbler. So I just decided to get the straws. I asked the cashier if they honor online prices, and she said they did which I appreciated. She looked at my phone and said, "oh these other straws are the ones that are on sale." I said, "these straws (in my hand) are the only ones that you have in the store." And then she agreed to give me the discount... Keep in mind that the prices of the same item were different online vs. in store, and then the higher priced straws were discounted even further. Buyer beware... I left the store with my straws in hand, and a burning desire not to return to this store again, unless I absolutely have to, as the shopping experience was mediocre in my opinion. Mahalo!
