This evening I ordered a 20" cheese pizza and onion rings online and paid w my cc... 45 min wait, then another 20 mins as my husband sat at the pick up counter. And to add insult to injury they gave him a cold left over cheese pizza obviously from lunch that didn't sell and burnt onion rings!!! NEVER EVER COMING BACK!!!! Late night must eat, but be warned, the quality of the food depends on the hour you're here (and the amount of alcohol in your system!). I'm giving 3 stars because as I stumble out of the bar across the street I would give it 5 stars, but I've tried slices before walking in and when I'm sober I'd only give them 1 star: At 2:30 am after a night of drinking, these slices are good enough to pay the $20 per pie they charge at the window...you will throw down 3-4 greasy and hot slices while your friends fight you for more of the pie. Friendly and delicious at the same time! This pizza place converted-garage eatery is a great place for large groups of people to eat thin-crusted pizza with amazing cheese. Granted the pizzas are a bit greasy, but it's the good grease, seriously. If you appreciate NY style pizza, you will love this place given the distance you are from the Big Apple. The slices are priced average, sized average, and they are served by a friendly worker behind the counter, (at least at the time I was there). When a friend of mine asked for a soda cup, he was asked how many slices he ordered and after my friend said an unusually high number for a small person such as himself, the worker gave my friend the soda cup for free. I suppose this place survives because of its location and hours. I've had 6pm pizza, and I've had 3am pizza. Neither of them impressed me in the very least. Pretty low quality stuff here. And we're not even talking cheap. Two pies ran me over $40, and the one time we tried delivery was about an hour wait. Plain Cheese pizza's only after about midnight. Pizza was ok, but delivery was delayed. When we called to check on it we were rudely advised it was in route.

Food is overpriced, greasy and poorly prepared. Paid $10 for a chicken sandwich, the chicken was burned so bad it was black. Friend ordered a stromboli which was Disgusting. Would not recommend to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere read more

I have only been here in twice but both times were nothing special. First time I got the caprese panini (mozzarella, basil, tomato, balsamic drizzle) and the bread was so thick and stale I ended up just eating the filling which wasnt bad. The second time I went I got a turkey sub which wasn't bad but again did not like their bread. Also the lettuce was not cut thinly, felt like took the salad and put it on the sub. However, the turkey itself was tasty. Also - the guy working befind the counter didnt seem to know what he was doing - told me 'the turkey is really good - doesnt have any of that fake shit it in" lol not sure exactly what that means but ok.... overall - no interest in going back except I love the set up, with the open air feeling and out door seating. read more

50 minutes for a small overpriced pizza! They have the nerve to charge $15.50 for a 12" pizza with pepperoni. Not only did the pizza suck, the wait was outrageous . I watched as one after another potential customers walked out the door after waiting in line only to hear other customers grumble and complain about the wait. When I saw what I thought was the manager finally appear, the only thing he did was set up a fan and then disappear. How about pitching in and making some pizza's fool?! From what I could see, the pizza makers were kids on their own. Nobody telling them to at least make a few plain pizzas in advance. It is a shame. I have been going here since I was a kid. Went there this week (both a slice in house and 2 pies delivery) and the experience was terrible. The pizza was literally like frozen pizza. Circle Pizza is definitely the best pizza you can get at the shore. All of their food is delicious. I've been in Avalon for six days and I've had Circle Pizza six times. Their fries are incredible (especially the cheese fries) and the cheesesteak egg rolls are to die for. The only downside to Circle Pizza is that their service is sometimes poor. The other day I called in to order and was immediately put on hold for six minutes. When I went inside to pick up my order, I saw the girl who took my order pick up the phone, put them on hold, and go on her phone for several minutes before picking up the customer's call again. I assume this is what happened to me. Also, when my friends and I went in to eat the other day, we waited 45 minutes for our pizza to come out. There was only one other customer in the restaurant. But apart from the customer service, Circle Pizza's food is amazing! In conclusion: if you're down the shore, definitely give Circle Pizza a try! read more

We were given 25% off after calling at 8:17pm an hour and 2 min after our initial call! We should have also been given 20% off after waiting ALL that time!!!!
