I came here on an overcast Saturday afternoon and it was pretty empty. Basically, Cisco Seaport is a bunch of shipping containers turned bars, merch booths and semi-private cabana like areas. They make their own beer, spirits and wine which always makes me skeptical. If you make everything, can you do anything good? There was a live band playing when we arrived under a large tent. We ordered a few beers that were decent but nothing mind blowing and sat at one of their many picnic tables. The containers that you can rent are 200.00 for 2 hours and I don't get the benefit but to each teir own. Basically, you get your own tv and a piece of rope that separates you from the peasants and skip the bar line. I guess it's like a beer Fastpass. Cisco Brewers in Seaport is a great space. The vibe is super chill. All of the staff were friendly. We came here for one drink and stayed for two. It's definitely a popular spot with the younger crowd. They have lots of different beers and seltzers to choose from. We even found a cider - it was good - not too sweet and more on the drier side. Fun spot right in the city for local beers, live music and just a general fun place to be. There's plenty of beer, mixed drinks, and N/A drinks to choose from at the 10 plus stands around the "yard". It definitely gets hot in the summer so find a spot in the shade, but there's lots of tables and umbrellas too. The only bathrooms are unfortunately portapotties, but they were even pretty clean too. I'll say that most of the stars are for the vibe and ambiance. It's very chill. You grab a picnic table, head up to one of the many trucks serving beer and other drinks, grab some apps and then just chill. For drinks, they have beer, cider, and cocktails with vodka, gin, tequila. For food options, there were three trucks - tacos, sushi, and clam shack. We got the pineapple express (vodka with pineapple juice and ginger) and the mint giniper (gin, mint, soda) both with no ice. For eats, we just split an order of old bay fries worth a couple of different dips. The mint giniper was strong, I'll give it that but neither of the drinks were my favorite. I wouldn't order them again. Especially at a price tag of $14. The fries were excellent. Crisp, tasty, and piping hot. We also came here late in the evening around 8 and I'm betting that's why we had a very pleasant time. read more

This is such an amazing place. I have been in Boston for several years and did not know a wonderful gem like this existed. I was coming out of the Envoy hotel and decided to walk down the waterfront. There were large crowds of people gathered outside tonight enjoying the wonderful weather. All the restaurants were packed. I recently heard some music playing nearby and wanted to check it out. It seemed this was a large beer garden in the middle of the waterfront. I went inside right away and checked it out. The main thing I love about this place is the location. You are surrounded by large office buildings everywhere. I love the modern construction designs which gives it a great ambiance. The actual beer garden is spread out and has a summertime rooftop feel despite being on the ground. They have several drink options and lots of games. I went ahead and ordered a southern mule while I played cornhole with some new friends. Everything was packed and it was fairly easily to meet and talk to new people here. If I knew about this place before I would have come here more often. This is now on my agenda every time I am in Boston. read more

I had such high hopes for this outside brewery, but felt let down after coming here. Stopped by on Saturday night, luckily did not have to wait in a line to get in (not the norm). I was looking forward to the live music but was told the band called out last minute. I also didn't realize the games (ex. cornhole) are not out at night; only during the day. I was disappointed to find out they didn't have any sour beers because that's all I drink. Instead I had expensive margaritas in a can- nothing but sugar and maybe a splash of tequila. Important to also note, during the week this brewery draws a "middle aged crowd" (over 30 years of age), but on the weekends, seems to only draw 21 year olds. (Perfectly fine if you're 21!!!) Note: do NOT go on a 90 degree day, there is minimal shade and you will burn/sweat to death. read more

This place is awesome. They have a distillery, winery and brewery in Nantucket so there is truly something for everyone here. Plenty of seating and open space to stand for when it gets crowded. Great spot to go after work or on the weekend with a group of friends. Pro tip: Be prepared to wait in line during busy times, this place is always poppin. Not pet friendly so that's the only reason I removed a star. They used to be a few years ago so would love to be able to have my dog here since it's all outside. Getting here can be a little tricky if you don't live in seaport but so worth it. They also have a great merch tent if you end up really loving their drinks and want to rep it around town. They do have plenty of shaded areas, a taco food truck and port-a-potty bathrooms too. Overall great vibe. Must go spot in this area. read more

I had just come from a big brunch and was forced to choose something to order just to get a drink. They only had packaged salads, pizza and cheese bread as food options as well. I got the Cesar's salad which was $9 for a bowl of mostly lettuce. Some of the drinks on the menu are listed in both the drafts and can section. I didn't notice this when I ordered, and intended to order the draft beer, but instead got a can because the server didn't ask for clarification. My friend ordered the hot spiked apple cider was tasty, with white wine as the spike. This place was decent, but I would try other breweries before coming back again. read more

Drinks run a bit pricey, but hey, you're in the expensive-er part of Boston (wait. what. how is that possible? it just is). You'll always find yourself chasing down a puppy, not because it's an off-leashed dog beer garden, because THERE ARE SO MANY DOGS. I'm always disappointed if I'm not performing my favorite activity.
