    Oysters - a variety
    Danyel M.

We stopped by to eat some apps on a Friday evening - it was busy but not packed. The staff were very friendly. The vibe is self-serve -- you walk up to the drink hut, then the food hut, and order giving your table number. You scan the QR code on the table to learn what's on the menu. Most of the food came out pretty quick. Everything was delicious. I also got a baja fish taco -- not pictured and it was pretty tasty. They don't have cider on draft - I shared a High Limb OG with my sister and it hit the spot. We will definitely be back -- especially cause it's dog-friendly! Our pup enjoyed the vibes too.

Over priced with small portions. I got the Lobster torta, and the person I was with got the lobster taco. Way overpriced for tiny portions. The Mai tai was completely unbalanced, the Piña colada was okay. The person who brought our oysters couldn't roll us which were which

2.5/5 Okay, I definitely recommend Island Creek if you're walking in for oysters and a beer only. Don't make our mistake and go in for lunch. The rest of the menu items are incredibly pricey for small portions, and they're not necessarily bad, but not some sort of special culinary experience either. The Island Creek oysters were fantastic (no surprises there) and I really liked this outdoor vibe, everything g was very streamlined with the QR codes for menus on the tables. Staff were also very kind.

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday and it was very peaceful. You order everything at one tent and then it is brought to your numbered table. What we ordered: -My boyfriend wanted oysters for his birthday so he ordered 3 of each kind. He said they were incredible and fresh -Crab roll: Generous portion, refreshing -Fluke Roll: very fresh, surprisingly tasty for such a plain roll. They have a ton of seating, a bar, and some yard games like cornhole. BONUS: they use compostable plates and silverware which I adore.

I absolutely love Island Creek Oysters. The ambiance is perfect, relaxed and spacious. There's plenty of shaded seating, and little touches like packs of cards to use make it an ideal spot to just hang out with friends and enjoy the vibe. Food-wise, the Green Goddess "Ranch" Dip & Chips is hands down my favorite thing on the menu. If you order one thing, let it be that. The oysters are, of course, excellent (as expected), and the fries are surprisingly great too. The rest of the menu doesn't really stand out as much for me, but the setting and the hits more than make up for it. Great spot for a laid-back afternoon with good food, good company, and a great atmosphere.

Great in concept with a lot of opportunities in operations and execution. Vibe was great- outdoor/ picnic tables/ lawn games/ bar container/ etc. it has the makings to be a go-to summer spot. Food was meh. Oysters were fine but came unlabeled and without explanation so you have no idea which ones you're eating. The clam dip was great but nothing heads and above one you can make at home, fish tacos were good but the taco shells was a lack luster version you can get in an 8 pack at Whole Foods. It felt mass-produced and gummy. Funny (sadly?) enough the waffle fries were the start of the meal. The frozen margarita was down so we went with the pins colada. Definitely don't recommend. It got cold enough that the coconut cream froze and presented as curdles small clumps. We couldn't get over the texture and couldn't finish them. All in all, the price and quality isn't worth it for the vibes alone.

The consensus was the food is pretty meh, but the location & tables are very nice. I'm an older person, but the entire area was filled with 20-late 30 year olds all engaged in conversation and enjoying their day. Nice when the weather is cooperating.

This spot is really popping! I went around 7pm on a Thursday and all the tables were full, a lot of people were standing. It was very easy to get a drink though. I ordered the faux mojito and enjoyed it. Overall a nice spot, I loved that there were a lot of dogs there!

Cool new spot in seaport! Always good. Always fresh. Great location. Nice little draft beer selection

My wife refused to believe that it wasn't a wig store. I laughed, opened the outer door, walked into a small vestibule, and opened the inner door to find a cocktail oasis. The hostess said they were very busy, but found us 2 seats and a table that we shared with another couple. The environment makes it easy to meet new people, and soon we were all chatting away, enjoying the music and the ambiance. Our server was great. She brought us water and dropped off the "menu" - part menu and part comic book. It was so innovative. All the cocktails are custom creations, but they do offer what they call "tabletop classics" as well. You go here to try new cocktails, not cocktails you can get anywhere. Go ahead, be daring! I had two Curly Colas, a take on a rum and cola, but nothing like anything I have had previously. Two kinds of rum, Averna, lemon and a little saline. It is served on ice with a dehydrated mushroom. Simply outstanding! My wife had a Bergamot Spritz that she loved. There are many cocktail places in Boston, but nothing like this! Go there and enjoy.

It was a Sunday night and we didn't feel like going far for a meal. That's when we put the voucher to use as the Capiz is in the lobby of the hotel. We went for an early dinner. Walking into the restaurant, no one was there to greet us and there was no host stand. Finally, a server (who also turned out to be our server) told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time. There were too many French fries, making the plate a bit messy. In a pinch, Capiz did fit the bill as we didn't feel like going far for a meal that day.
