We come here at least once a month, if not more for lunch. Salsa was a little off (tasted like canned tomatoes were used and barely any salt...we never add additional salt to anything unless it's really needed). I first noticed prices in the menu have increased again. No big deal but ordered lunch fajitas and barely given any cheese on the condiment tray. Literally a pinch. Asked if I could please have some more pointing out I barely got any. We ordered charros with our fajitas and noticed it was also less than normal but didn't say anything. Fajitas also usually have red or green peppers but I found one piece of that in mine. Waitress brings some cheese and tells me it's free (WTH?) but then proceeds to tell me that the chef said with increased prices, they have been cutting back. Ummm ok....and I politely pointed out the obvious...AND YOU JUST RAISED YOUR PRICES ON YOUR MENU AGAIN. She just looked at me and didn't have anything to say about that. Not sure we'll keep Cisco's in our lunch rotation going forward if the goal is to charge more and give you less. read more

Really hate to do this, but we love this place!! Why do I hate to do this? Every time we go, it's hopping, so getting seated can be tricky. But, looking thru the reviews, I am surprised to see any that don't love the food, the ambiance, the service, yeah, the entire experience. We went recently and they had live music, the young man playing on the patio just elevated the entire deal for us. Yes, we will be back, even with a short wait. Go give it a try! read more

Cisco's Was Good for Lunch The two of us ate a late lunch here on a Wednesday afternoon. The normal lunch crowd had died down, so there was plenty of seating. We were served by a friendly and talkative wait staff member. We ordered the lunch fajitas and the lunch enchiladas. Both came out quickly and were very tasty. My wife and I went to Ciscos for a late lunch. I want to start off this review saying that the classic ciscos burrito is one of my most favorite dishes across any type of dining. I absolutely love ciscos and it is so good and so close to my job that I will always jump on the opportunity to go. That being said, this most recent visit was my last. It took around 10 minutes before a hostess came around to get us seated. The service was not bad, but definitely not exceptional. I ordered my classic burrito as I always do. I got two bites in and cut into my third where I saw something that didn't look like what any of the contents of the burrito should look like. It ended up being a horse fly. I did not take one more bite, the manager took care of the whole bill and my wife and I left both of our meals at the table. I will miss their classic burrito but not at the expense of a bug burrito instead of the chicken. Wrong Protein!!!!! read more

I wish I got my waitress's name because this was some of the best service I have received in the last few months! We were in Tomball for the Farmer's Market and my brother had parked across the street. He asked if we would be fine dining here and I'm glad we did. The salsa is not hot at all but it has a nice smoky flavor. The chips look half homemade and half pre-cooked which I actually prefer. Our waitress was kind enough to bring out another basket of chips and another bowl of salsa. My brother and mom ordered the shrimp wrap and RAVED about it. My brother loved his tortilla soup and my mom loved her salad (I tried it and the jalapeño ranch was delicious and the lettuce was fresh). I ordered the chicken fajitas and for $17.50, I got enough to make 5 fajitas. I got charro beans and they were interesting -- also smoky and perfectly cooked. I asked for onions and jalapeños and threw those in there. Chef's kiss! My mother got a margarita and woof that thing was strong. I could smell the liquor from across the table. First time customers gotta say it was average. Didn't win me over. I was expecting the salsa to be amazing but it was ok. Definitely had better. Bartender was our waitress and once the bar got full she would be very busy but still managed to help us out no matter how busy she got. Having a toddler there wasn't so bad but they do not have a changing area in either restrooms. So it sucked that I had to take my kid to the truck in order to change their diaper. Got the lunch special...fish taco and chicken suiza with poblano cheddar mashed potatoes (a surprise) and street corn. DELISH! And the portions are big...I got two meals out of it. Hubby got an asada burrito and said it was great. The best part...custom guac...WHAT? They give you a checklist so you can select what you would like mixed in. SO GOOD! A definite fave in this area, obviously, as this place was hopping on a Sunday early evening when I visited. One of the great things about Cisco's is that they are able to accommodate multiple large (+8) groups. When we came, we had a party of 9; there was a party of 12 also near us and several parties of 10 inside. Super convenient if you've got a large group and you all want a good dinner and a margarita! Waitstaff was very pleasant and attentive. Took extra care making sure the orders for the children were taken accurately and delivered first when all of the meals were ready. Nice touch. Food was solid - better than I expected. Fajitas were tender, with sides tasty enough to compliment but not overwhelm the meat. Multiple sides to choose if other dishes are ordered (even a special recipe of mashed potatoes!). Chips were excellent and salsa was very unique - not your usual red sauce, if you know what I mean. Margaritas were very good (multiple varieties are available for those that like to deviate from the standard), served just right with enough punch but not enough to knock you on the floor. A variety of dishes and drinks were ordered, and all within my group was complimentary about their choices. There is interior dining, but the outdoor dining area is what we took advantage of. Covered, with large tables and a sufficient amount of fans to keep the breeze going so you didn't swelter. I was glad we were seated there, as it made for a very enjoyable atmosphere. Parking is limited - mostly street parking. Be aware of that, and make sure you know how to parallel park your car, because a number of spaces do require that. Solid choice and I would definitely return. Portions flavorful, just the right amount, perfect guacamole and a good margo. What more could you ask for? read more

The salsa is obviously homemade and the chips thin and crisp. Rosa our server was really good at recommendations and guiding us with the menu. I wanted chicken enchiladas suizas and she let me know i actually wanted the smoky chipotle enchiladas. She wasn't wrong LOL The mexican street corn is UH-MAZING and whatever was in this margarita almost put me on my ass half way through. Yum and potent. Came here with the family, my lady had been talking about this place. We came in and the front hostess girls didn't really acknowledge us at first. They were all in conversation and then attended to us. We were sat and we ended up asking for silverware 3 times before getting up to get some from the front. The place is very cozy though, love the set up. Our waitress came by and didn't really have many recommendations or knowledge of the menu. We ordered the chicken enchiladas verde & carnita street tacos with Mexican corn. The food was very delicious, took about 30 minutes to come out. I also ordered a top shelf margarita, the Big Ben or whatever it was, decent but nothing to rave about. Our waitress was sweet but very inattentive, she walked by several times and wouldn't check on us so my lady never ordered a drink. Food was healthy and fresh, not much on taste. had the lettuce wraps. service was bad, i dont mind tipping 20% or more; i had a hard time tipping. i think we provided 15%. everyone at table received drinks. the bartender was amazing. WOW. drinks were the best i had ever had in a long time. even my buddy Jimbo would approve of this place. wow. Daisy was the bartender. WOW. tip of the day, if you offer something on menu, make sure its available. AND, the hostess was helpful. Thank you. I'd love to start by saying this has been one of our favorite places for years, but over the last year or so it has taken a nose dive and I don't know how it's in business. Every time we go it's an hour and a half wait, we add our name and number and rarely ever get called that our table is ready. There is always tables open and lots of them. I get that you can't seat if you don't have the staff, but on nights you know it will be busy there should be better planning on management part. Today, we arrived and were told the typical long wait and decided to add our name to the list and leave our number. My grandmother sat down at an empty table (one of many) after a long day at MD Anderson and immediately the hostess told her to move and sit outside in a very unkind manner. We decided we would walk and shop while we waited and never received a message about our table. We took our business over to Martha's where we we received great service and wonderful food. It's such a shame that the management has ruined a place that we once loved so much. read more
