While this is an older community, it offers such a community of peace and contentment. Not too many choices in this area; however, this feels more like condo living than apartment living. Love the options of having a garage and private entrances to each unit. Johele is the most incredible maintenance supervisor and his team from Nate to Spencer are really attentive to the needs of residents. From securing snow plows on those blistery winter days to fixing my window leaks during the torrential rain. Tracy is a wonderful community manager who ensures that this place is well maintained, residents are engaged and appreciated with so many events from food truck Thursdays to Monday football get togethers. Tyson is always so kind, friendly, professional and well deserved promotion to Assistant Community Manager. Leasing agents like Cami and Brandy are so welcoming and friendly. It is so well maintained here by the staff. You will like any place have outlier neighbors who don't abide by the community rules. But the staff is quick to address any issues or complaints of noise. In my opinion, the 2B floor plan is the best w1ith its surround bay windows perfect for plant lovers like myself. The patio is large enough to accommodate a loveseat and coffee chairs and more plants. Biggest bonus is the two car garage. The 2A is great for roommate situations because both bedrooms have walk in closets and on separate sides of the unit. However, it is only a one car garage but has extra storage under the stairs within the garage. If you are a singleton or couple, opt for the 1A garage because have a nice size patio, a built-in work desk in your master and the closet is perfect for your collection of slinky dresses or hoodies. Building 4 is fantastic for getting afternoon sun and being central to the King Soopers and the eateries in the area. Building 25 has the quietest neighbors and ease of getting to the gym and pool. This little gem was like living in my real-life Lifetime love story. My residence here was unforgettable as the memories and people I got to call my happy circle.

Add nonstop dog barking at all hours, and peace is nonexistent. Be prepared to call the police yourself after overhearing domestic violence through the walls or from across the hall. The grounds are absolutely COVERED in dog poop and trash. Waste stations and dumpsters are perpetually overflowing, spewing the stench of feces and trash everywhere you walk. Abandoned furniture is left for WEEKS, making the entire complex feel more like a dump than an apartment complex. Evictions are a montly occurrence - you'll regularly see people's belongings dumped on the street for days like garbage. At night, the "safety" lights are OBSCENELY bright, blasting into apartments and making blackout curtains mandatory if you want even a chance at sleep. Parking is nothing but a predatory cash grab. You're forced to pay an outrageous fee (especially if, God forbid, you own more than one vehicle), and any car not registered WILL be towed immediately - no warnings, no compassion - because the tow truck patrols this place like a vulture circling multiple times a day. The leasing office NEVER answers the phone, and if you do finally reach someone, the staff are dismissive, clueless, and completely useless. The management company is blatantly greedy, deeply disreputable, and painfully incompetent. Tenant safety, cleanliness, and basic livability are clearly not priorities here. This place exists solely to extract as much money as possible from anyone they can.

Every time I've had an issue -- whether it was a lost package, a maintenance concern, or anything else -- she has always come through and saved the day. I truly can't say enough great things about her. If I'm ever a business owner, I'll be tracking her down and offering her a job. I sincerely hope management realizes how valuable she is to this property. I also want to mention that it's been great to see a new maintenance manager hired. The previous manager was lacking in many ways, and the change has definitely been noticeable.

We toured when the property was brand new and it looked promising enough to sign a lease. Unfortunately, things changed quickly once management switched. Before I get into it, want to share that the first murder in Castle Pines in decades occurred in these apartments in July 2025 (a widely reported stabbing). Other unsettling things would happen, like a young guy sitting in his car and screaming at the top of his lungs late at night with the windows open, startling us from sleep. For those and other reasons, (especially as a woman), I became actually concerned for my own safety by the end of our lease. For the last ~8 months we were here, the noise from the inconsiderate and hostile upstairs neighbors was nonstop from morning until night including "quiet hours". The noise included running around, screaming, and moving furniture daily. We spoke to them and filed multiple complaints with the office and the security services, but nothing was ever done to improve the situation. The reason management gave us is that it is too difficult for them to enforce noise issues - basically that they couldn't/ wouldn't do anything about it. So be aware if you have the same issue nothing will likely ever be done. If you have to move here, try to get a top floor at least and save yourself because it was truly unbearable and my husband and I had constant stress and anxiety whenever we were home. The grounds were poorly maintained the entire time we lived here. Dog waste was constantly left on paths and grass. The hallways never appeared to be cleaned in the time we lived there. We saw tracked-in mud, streaks, and dog hair stuck to the carpet and handrails to the point that it was embarrassing for guests to visit. Our balcony door never shut properly, door handles would come off, and dog urine from the balcony above (first neighbors) would drip straight through the slats onto ours. Winter created serious safety issues. Snow and ice on the walkways went uncleared for days, which was obviously negligent and a life safety hazard. The layout is so poorly designed that residents have worn multiple dirt paths into the hills (look for them if you tour, you'll see them) because there are no logical stairs or ramps where they're obviously needed. Meanwhile, the leasing office paths were always cleared immediately, which is understandably frustrating to the residents. One particularly concerning issue was that a balcony a couple units down from ours visibly sagged before eventually collapsing and remaining on the ground for an extended period while we lived there. This raised major concerns for me personally about overall construction quality and maintenance. The AC was so loud it would startle us awake, and the utility room below us made constant loud beeping sounds for most of our lease length, which was clearly heard in the master bathroom. Finding parking was also extremely difficult by the end of our lease, with our garage frequently blocked by people parking in front of it. We have photos of the dog waste, unclean hallways, worn dirt paths, snow/ice hazards, and more, attached. This was not the luxury experience advertised and you would be expected from living in Castle Pines. We would not choose to live here again and would not recommend it for anyone.
