While my Physical Therapist was personally very kind and attentive, I would only work with her for about 10-15 minutes per session and was then passed on to the assistants who were NOT attentive. They would give me my exercises to complete but rather than staying and ensuring I was doing them correctly would run to another patient and work with them, and then I would be sitting there for several minutes inbetween exercises waiting for the assistant to come back. I came three weeks in a row and every week was like this-the facility just seemed like they had too many patients scheduled at once and not enough employees to properly take care of all the patients. As someone who has done physical therapy at several facilities over the years I was disappointed in my care and would not recommend coming here. I gave it a two because I liked my physical therapist but if it wasn't for her I would give this facility a one.

I confirmed…read morewith the office that my procedure would be "covered," and they even framed a "test" injection as an easy next step--while admitting they weren't sure it would help--because, again, "it's covered." Afterward, my insurance paid $23. Then the clinic billed me $800. When I went back to ask them to honor what I was told--or at least work with me on price given their guidance--they refused. I asked about a self-pay option; they said no because my insurance had already paid $23. No flexibility, no ownership, no accountability. From my perspective, this is the definition of a bait-and-switch: reassure the patient about coverage to green-light the visit, deliver a token insurance payment, then dump the real cost on the patient and refuse to make it right. I left feeling misled and out hundreds of dollars for a "test" they weren't confident would help in the first place. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this practice to anyone. If you do go, get every "coverage" assurance in writing, ask for CPT codes up front, and verify directly with your insurer--because the verbal promises I received were worthless. I won't be back.

Firstly, the staff at the front desk lie and make it as though you're the fool who got it wrong. You never get the same therapist twice, which makes it so a therapist needs to examine your chart so that they can remember who you are. I came here for my neck and lower back. I've gotten about 3 treatments on my neck so far. However, last week when Ava was going to do traction on my back, I asked her if she would do my neck as well. Her reply was a snippy "well, the order only is for your back, not your neck so we can't treat your neck." Funny thing tho, I've had my neck treated by other therapists at this facility. Now, all of a sudden, my order doesn't indicate my neck? Further, her tone in telling me this, as well as how she spoke with me in describing each exercise I was to do, was as if she were speaking to a toddler and not a grown woman. I've done these exercises many times and don't need to be explained on how to do them. As well, the client is never supervised while doing the exercises. Instead, the therapists are at tithe desk chit chatting and laughing. I called this morning to ask the front desk to please not put me with Ava again and that I was confirming my 12:00 appt for today. When I arrived, it was said to me, "oh no, your appt is at 1:30." We're all going to lunch now. The receptionist lied and told the head therapist that I never mentioned the time! These women don't listen to the clients when they call. It's as tho they're incapable of doing anything other than appointments which is sad. As well, I've informed them on numerous occasions and it's in my chart that I've had one knee replacement and bilateral hip replacements, yet time and time again, they gave me "pivoting" exercises to do, which couldn't be worse for hip replacement. Be extremely careful if you decide to go here. They don't know what they're doing!

Each time I saw him he asked me specifically how bad my pain was, where was it hurting, what activity was making it worse or better. I asked him a bazillion questions and he patiently and fully answered them all, and clearly enjoyed talking about his profession. He is an experienced professional and knows exactly what he is doing. I am virtually pain free now and he provided me with the knowledge and tools (exercises) to get me fully healed, in time. It appeared that all the therapists there are just as kind, caring and qualified as Jake. They all focused carefully on each of their patients like doting parents. The rest of staff there were wonderful as well (especially Keaton). They are all friendly, kind, caring and full of smiles. They genuinely love what they do, and it showed every time I went. I especially liked the way the entire team there works together. They have great choreography and chemistry, and make each visit there as comfortable and relaxing as they can. Bottom line, I cannot recommend this place enough. They resolved my pain and did it quickly and professionally. You can trust this place.

A Tale of Tumbles and Triumphs at Farnsworth Physical Therapy…read more Dear fellow seeker of healing and hope, Let me spin you a tale--not of knights and dragons, but of a girl whose superpower is spectacular clumsiness and the sanctuary that helped her rise again. Once upon a not-so-graceful day, I tumbled out of my front door with all the elegance of a newborn giraffe on roller skates. Not two weeks later, I decided to up the ante and pirouette off a curb, shattering my ankle and any illusions of coordination I had left. Surgery followed, and with it, the dreaded words: "You'll need physical therapy." Enter Farnsworth Physical Therapy--the closest clinic to my home and, as fate would have it, the closest thing to a miracle I've ever experienced in the medical world. I arrived with dread in my heart and pain in my bones. Exercise? While injured? Surrounded by gym dudes? Dudes. In a gym. I braced myself for discomfort, awkwardness, and indifference. But what I found was magic. Rod and his team didn't just treat my injury--they treated my soul. Their warmth, humor, and genuine care melted away my fears. So much so, that years later, when I was hit in a car accident, I willingly drove 30 minutes, three times a week, just to be in their presence again. Why, you ask? Because Farnsworth isn't just a clinic. It's a haven. The room staff and front office radiate joy and compassion, always checking in, always making sure you feel safe and seen. The gym crew? Patient, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel like a burden. They explained every movement, every stretch, with kindness and clarity. And the cherry on top? Three of the same wonderful humans were still there from my first visit years ago. With Rod leading the charge, it felt less like rehab and more like a reunion with old friends. If you're looking for healing wrapped in laughter, professionalism wrapped in empathy, and a team that treats you like family--Farnsworth is your place.
