The situation was handled without discretion or empathy and felt inappropriate and excessive. While I understand store policies, involving multiple emergency services in this way was unnecessary and embarrassing to witness. I use to regularly shop at Wawa and support this business, which made this experience even more disappointing. Most staff members at this location have been polite and respectful, but this particular interaction showed a serious lack of basic human empathy and poor judgment. The lack of empathy shown was alarming. Treating a human being as an inconvenience rather than exercising basic decency reflects poorly on the management at this location.
