The second you walk in the stench is disgusting, almost to the point where I just walked out. I've only been here two times and will NEVER be back. The first time I needed to get something notarized and first they said it would be a few minutes, waited 15, then overheard someone else ask the teller about a notary and they told him the woman stepped out for lunch and wouldn't be back for an hour! Without letting me know, after they told me a few minutes and to sit and wait. So I went back up and the teller was so rude to me and so I left. Then I went back a few months later because I had to make some changes to my account. There was only one person there and was servicing someone else and no one was able to give us a time frame of how long. I asked to use the restroom and then was treated like I was being done some huge favor by being allowed to use the restroom.... I have multiple account open with chase and I used to live in Westchester and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. I don't know how this branch stays open. The only reason I gave two stars is because the branch manager, Marjory, assisted with the account changes and was friendly enough, though I've never been to a branch where they didn't escort their clients in and out of the cubicles.

This is crazy as they at first said it should be covered if fraud but will have to wait for their internal investigation. once the internal investigation was done all they said is your were denied. we asked what their findings were as we were totally taken back by someone being able to enter our account with out authorization. we asked if they could share where the breach happened so we can better understand what happened and safeguard for the future. they would not share any information. After my own investigation i find i know a handful of people this has happened to and all have received the same answer from chase. i would take your money out of Chase as they don't seem to have their grip on fraud. It appears that the fraud more then likely happened on their side as i cant understand why they will not share information that can help protect the consumer. I almost feel they are the scammers for not being transparent.

It was deposited to the wrong account. After waiting for 4mths for the IRS to trace it back to cross river bank who claims to have deposited to my Chase account listed on my taxes, I hit another brick wall. According to Mira Ruby, Branch Manager at Croton, NY, its not uncommon for the bank to accept a deposit into an account without verifying the name on the account because its a Federal Deposit. Have you ever heard such BULL SHIT. It was their responsibility to return that check to Cross Bank, who would return it to the IRS and maybe I would have received my deposit by now via check in the mail. Instead she was defensive about how stupid her comment was and that I quoted her. She was going to let me go without verifying my phone number for an alleged follow up call from Chase regarding my incorrectly deposited Federal Returns... I had to ask her aren't you going to check my number, of course it was incorrectly listed too. Wish me luck Folks, and be careful, they don't have to verify a name with an account deposit, as long as its Federal.

At this time, the staff member that stands out the most, is Nicholas Koenig, Officer/Relationship Banker. He has helped me out when I needed money transferred to Chase, and he has often answered some banking questions I may have had. Mr. Koenig has also helped me track down old checks I had written, a task I thought impossible. He is always the consummate professional, efficient, patient, and he goes above and beyond. Mr. Koenig is one of the reasons why I stick with Chase in Croton.
